Tsume nodded, "painting, this will be fun." he grinned to himself, never really having been too artsy. it just wasn't his thing. "hey, what time do the girls usually finish with their lessons? i'm tutoring Nix but knowing her she'll want ours to be after theirs so she can do both."

Lewis laughed, "i was like one of those annoying little dogs back then. the ones that wont stop barking because they are too scared to." he shivered and shook his head, "it was the only way i could defend myself, the only thing i had to fight with." he thumped al's chest, "to my defence you were retarded back then. thank the gods we finally knocked some sense into you."

Ludwig was exploring some more and came to a scent he knew. the pink two legger who pet him a lot. he wagged his tail and ran into the tiled room, following the scent. he heard voices, but not ones he knew. they were in the big water bowl, though and he knew what to expect this time. with two large bounds he was in the water, splashing everywhere as he swam towards the two leggers, but the pink one wasn't there. the screamer was and Ludwig whined as the noice hurt his ears, but he couldn't get away, the edges of the bowl to tall for him to get to.

Lewis screamed when that beast jumped into the bath and started coming after him. "No, no, NO!" he scrambled out of the bath, throwing himself against the wall, but it then it started to try to get out too. "no, stay away!" the bath was between him and the door, he was trapped and it was coming for him. "no-" he moaned, getting as far away as he could and curling into a ball in the corner, his arms covering his head, waiting for the teeth to tear into his flesh.

Nix smiled, "you get used to it. your clothes are really heavy! do you use them for weight training?" she laughed at that before looking at Emily, "yours is, yes. and it was dyed with dandilions." Emily's dress was a warm buttery yellow that darkened the lower it was, the hem being almost orange. "martha, yours is made from tree bark, willow if i remember right. Annabelle's is made from pink roses." she smiled, "we don't really use cotton for clothes and we definatly don't use animal skins, most of us don't at least, but what we do use will last longer than any of that does since it's made using magical technics."

Leo laughed, "yes, indeed. though Nix might have a bit of healing in her so she may be helping ease it without meaning too." Nix hadn't shown any ability to heal, though, so maybe not. he finished the shirt and set it aside before working on the pants, "should i make you something like justin was wearing last night, my prince?"

Tsume chuckled, "i usually change from mind stuff one day to physical the next. Nix doesn't look it, but that girl is strong. she could take down a full grown human man if she wanted. i've trained that girl since birth. now i just need to start training Leo again." but he wasn't sure how well that would work. Leo was a healer, it went against his nature to hurt others which had been his problem as a child. Now, after everything that happened, he doubted even moreso that Leo would be able to hurt another.

Ludwig whined and licked the man's hand int hanks for saving him. when he was in the hallway, he shook himself dry before heading out to find someone else. the pink one's scent wasn't safe.

Lewis opened his eyes and saw that Al was there and the animal gone. "i-i should neer have said-oh gods." he closed his eyes and clung to his lover. he never should have mentioned the beasts. the gods must have sent that one there to torment him for even bringing them up. "why did Elliot bring that think back with him?"

nix smiled, "i can understand why. winter is pretty cold in Falia, but we go to the winter courts. it's really pretty and a lake freezes over so you can walk across the entire thing without worry. we wear slightly heavier clothing, things made from earth and rock but they have spells placed on them to help keep the warmth in and the cold out, same for our summer clothes but opposite." she was right behind Martha as they went into the hallway. "I'm sure the magic here woul be stronger if you had people who could train you in the proper use of them. i wonder if we could set something up where Falians came here to teach them or they went there to learn." her eyes became distant as she thought about it, "that would be perfect, wouldn't it?" she paused and frowned, "did you guys hear a scream?"

Leo laughed, "no, i wont do that to you, love. but i do have to say, Justin looked cute in it, if embarassed." he sat back a little and thought about the Prime Minister. was it just him or had he heard a scream earlier? maybe it was his imagination.

Tsume wasn't watching Kashi, instead he was looking at the painting. "Elliot's mother?" he asked softly, but he didn't need an answer, he already knew. she was beautiful, but even through a painting he could see she was strong. both in body and mind, and her personality showed through in the way she smiled and the sharp with hidden in her eyes. "what happened to her?" he'd never found out, only knew that she was no longer alive.

Ludwig whined when he was grabbed and yelled at again, but the pink one arrived to save him and he huddled in her arms, shivering slightly. it had been a bad day for the pup.

Nix gently pet the poor little puppy, "poor guy. you just ran into the wrong people, didn't you? that's ok. i bet the teacher will let him stay with us, he's too cute to refuse and he's tired from all the excitement. maybe someone can bring him something to eat and i bet he'll sleep through most of it." she smiled and looked around, "so where do you have your lessons?"

Lewis nodded, "yes, yes. must dress. don't want to be yelled at for not having pants on again." he laughed softly, his eyes slightly glazed. "Our son? our-" he looked down and smiled, "our son. he's so cute isn't he? looks just like his mom, but has his dad's temper. what did he get from me?" he shook his head, "fear of dogs. poor boy." he stood and slightly wove as he walked toward their bedroom, forgetting about drying off or even covering up with a towel. "must dress and then watch the flowers. can't grow without me, you know."

Leo looked at Elliot as he came back in, but he nodded, "Poor Prime Minister. maybe i should make him some tea to help him calm down?"

Tsume frowned and very carefully touched the face of the painting, "it seems all of the queens have been bound to misfortune as of late." he forced himself to pull his hand back and watched what Kashi was doing for a moment before he picked up a brush and copied. even he could color between the lines.

Nix smiled, "i am sure i'll have a good time. i wouldn't be so rude to your gov-ern-ess," she said the word as if it were new to her, "as to sit in a window and completely ingore her." she happily walked to the room they had said the lessons were held, excited to learn something new.

Lewis hummed off key as he was dressed, trying to help, but making a mess of things. he giggled when the king put pants on him, putting both legs through one hole at first before being corrected. finally he had his clothes on and he kissed the king, "thank you, master." he smiled sweetly and head out, humming as he walked, waving happily at a maid as he passed, but pressing his back to the wall and skooting sideways as he did so. he finally found his usual spot where he watched the flowers grow, but when he sat down he'd somehoe lost his pants on the way there. not that he cared. "grow, my pretties, grow!" he cackled before laughing.

Leo nodded, "i understand. i'll wait for a little while." he felt his heart ache for the man and gave thanks he himself had kept his wits-for the most part. but then again he had not been hunted down as the Prime Minester had. the man had suffered so much than he had, Leo couldn't help but wish he could cure his mind as well as he could his body.

Tsume stretched as well, a little tired from the strange work. living in this castle was annoying. Everything was dusty and old and just dead. he liked the forest where the old things held wisdom and there was new growth and live everywhere, but Leo was here so here he would stay. "that would be nice. will you be eatting with us?"

Nix smiled, "actually Leo and I do the same thing in a way. so long as we have sunlight and water, we can go for several days without eating. Leo eats less than i do, but i think that is because of his ens-" she stopped herself, the girls didn't know about what happened to Leo before he had been given to Elliot, "because he is more in tuned with the earth than i am. but with his pregnancy maybe he'll start eating more."

Leo looked up from where he was folding his most resent piece of clothing, the first dress he'd made for himself. there was a stack of two pants, two shirts, socks and vests for Elliot so he'd figured one for himself would be ok. "Lunch time?" he had forgotten breakfast, along with Elliot, and only at the mention of it did he realize how hungry he was. a loud rumble came from his stomach and Leo blushed, "sorry-"

Tsume nodded, "i'll wait for the others, but thanks. see you later." he watched Kashi go before yawning, rubbing the back of his head. "damned Ipo woke me way too early." he sighed and took a seat at the end, waiting for the others so they could eat together. he let his head drop back and decided to doze until they arrived, getting what rest he could

Nix thought about it, "well-we haven't really had a war in quite a while. with the enchantments on the borders not many can enter into the forest and those who live there rarely leave. but it helps when you're out exploring and don't want to have to scavenge. Tsume took me to the middle of the forest once and left me. told me i had to find my own way home and forbid anyone else from helping." she grinned, "i've never had so much fun in my life! well, except for coming here. it's a pretty close tie."

Leo was helped to his feet and growned, growing dizzy, "oh-remind me to never skip breakfast again. i feel sick." he was so hungry he felt ill and he knew the only way to get ride of the feeling was to fill his stomach. "maybe i could ask the chef for some small finger snacks to take with me after lunch." he smiled at Elliot and silently apologized to the baby for not taking very good care of either of them today. "let's hurry before the girls eat it all."

Lewis sat up from where he'd been laying on the table, his torso sprawled over the surface, "noon. lunch. should eat." he rubbed his eyes, looking around and frowning. "where are the flowers?" his eyes fell on the window, "ah. outside. flowers are outside. Lue is inside." he stood and started to walk, though he turned in the wrong direction for the dining room when he reached the hallway.

Tsume sat up when the girls came in, smiling, but when the dog was put in his lap, he looked down at it. to his surprise, Ludwig actually growled at him, trying to place the dominance game. what? was he trying to protect Annabelle? Tsume lifted his glasses and locked eyes with the pup, growling low in the back f his throat, making Ludwig's tail drop as the snot nosed brat cowarded before him. "thought as much, mutt." he shook his head before stroking the puppy, "hello girls. how's lessons going?"

Nix nodded, "to an extent. not much since we're not green, but if you look really, really close at our skin with a magnifying glass you can see tiny green dots." she grinned and looked at Tsume, "really fun! they were learning about plants, but it was interesting to hear their views on it. the teacher said that it was impossible for plants to have personnaities when i asked her what the vines here tended to act like." she giggled, "but i guess that's because the earth is different here."

Leo smiled and rested his head on Elliot's shoulder, "i'll be fine. promise. just have to be more careful thanks to this." his hand softly touched his stomach, "didn't get nearly enough nutriants for the both of us today." he sighed, but moved a little faster when the dining room doors came into view, "i wonder what id for lunch."
