Marcie just stood behind the door way, behind Jack and Matt, jack of hearts, sobering and a suit, no wonder she did not trust him and soon the ace of spades would join, well this was going to be a pretty bath of blood soon if they let him know Alex was here.

Matt looked at Jack. There was no way that the Suits were gonna listen to him...Calling himself king when he hadn't set foot in Wonderland in years? He could laugh at the sight.

Marcie had a bad feeling about that, if jack was not running the suits then who was? and wouldn't Ace of hearts take the chance of killing the Jack of hearts? was that not the 'tradition'? after all they usually only listened to the queen.

Ace of Hearts blinked, his eyes widened. "S-Sir Jack . . . you're the Red King?" he said, his tone rather shocked yet doubtful. "Sir Jack . . . you haven't been in Wonderland in . . . years. When was your promotion?"
"I was just going to ask the same thing," a familiar voice said, alerting the three men of the crunching of leaves.
The Ace of Spades revealed himself from the shadows.
The Two's heart raced madly. "Ace?! What the hell are you doing here? How did you get passed the Looking Glass?"
Ace scratched his head, smiling sheepishly. "I ran out of money and went to find the Ace of Hearts to ask for more . . . and you speak rather loudly, Two of Spades."
Ace gazed at the Jack. "Jack of Hearts," he said, bowing deeply. "Or should I say . . . 'Red King'."
((GAAH! THREE CHARACTERS! gonk ))

Matt didn't like the way they were saying that. "Okay, now that you've found a way through the looking glass, shouldn't you guys be going back..There isn't much use for a Suit in this world...." he said bravely.

"I see," Ace said, tapping his lip. "Well, Sir. Ja--Your Majesty, I wish for you to understand that I have no malicious intent for that girl. I have simply been asked to retrieve her . . . not kill her."
Two clenched his hand into a fist. If the Jack of Hearts, the Red King, terminates Aces mission . . . he's going down.
