Ryuujin watched as the boy next to him effortlessly learned the jutsu and made an identical mark in a tree with it. Not wanting to be outdone, Ryuujin focused his chakra like he had done so recently for the fish spit jutsu. Feeling the water come up from within him, he narrowed his gaze at the branches above the dents the other ninja had made and exhaled. Several gobs came out, causing a rustling cascade of leaves and wood to fall from the tree.

Not slowing down for a second, the muscled shinobi demonstrated how to walk on water; an absolutely essential technique for any shinobi. Ryuujin understood simply enough. Chakra, which he usually focused in his hands for seals, he now channeled to his feet. He didn't completely do it though. Instead, he ran as fast as he could and jumped into the air with a flip.

The new person who had showed up seemed to do pretty good at a try for the pellet. But he failed at the water walking. Sypher would have trouble too cause he might change into water if he was not careful! He walked to where they were and put his hands together.[1/4] Focusing his chakra to his feet. "Don't put so much chakra in it, if you do then you'll either slowely sink or immediatly fall in." He focused the chakra to his feet in even amounts and slowely stepped onto the water. It seemed a good to go process until the water rushed up suddenly as he fell in. If they were to look in the water they would not see him until some water moved onto land and he formed back into himself with big eyes.[2/4] How scary! He stood up and tried again. Last time he put too much in both feet and sank like a rock, he made sure to put just enough in his feet and carefully step onto the water. The first change in water came small as he changed how much chakra was in his feet to stay on the water like god.[3/3]

Ryuujin let a small growl escape his throat. Not a loud or dangerous one; he didn't want to seem like a psycho or anything.

not that, of course, the Inuzukas are crazy or anything, i'm just sayin...

He took a deep breath. "Okay, let me try again." He said specifically to the thin ninja who, of course, got the technique just about perfectly. He felt the smallest pang of jealously, but not much. Ryuujin did not really get jealous, he just enjoyed the rivalry. He tried focusing his chakra in his feet, but not all of it. A strong amount, like with the water flicking jutsu he had done earlier.

He got into a running position. This time he would not fail. He sprang with quickness like lightning to the air {anyone know where i got that from? XD } and as he hit the lake he felt one foot land solid with the other not so much. So, instead of simply balancing like a fool, he kept running. He hopped off one foot and used his precious seconds in air to try and balance his chakra a bit more. As his other foot came down, he prayed to the gods above for luck. It didn't sink! Ryuujin landed, and kept running and curved so it made an oval and he eventually slowed and stopped on the edge of the lake in front of his comrades. With a bow, he presented himself.

"And that is, my dear fellows, Ryuujin Morii!"

Tsubame Itsuki

After her announcment, Kaji arrived shortly after and apologized for falling asleep...again. '*sigh* Why am I not surprised...' "It's alright...just do your best to assist with training the genin." Giving Catori a nod of her head, Itsuki kept his words in mind as it would later prove useful when rearranging the squads...again...'Seriously, this shift in ranks is driving me nuts...gotta somehow stablize our ranks and fast.' With the ranking thinning out at a steady rate, Itsuki was honestly fearful for her village but hopefully with the alliance with Iwa and gaining Zane as a Sannin, she'll be able to bring Konoha back on its feet soon enough. 'The Chuunin exams will definiately help too...just got to make sure they're ready is all....'

As students slowly came over one by one, Itsuki watched with interest as Catori easily took up the role of a teacher and began teaching the genin suiton ninjutsu, something that she would've originally be unable to aid in. 'Seems this training session is working out well...' As Chiki began to twitch within her grip, Itsuki let out a soft smile and placed the small chocobo to the ground so it could run around the area for a bit. 'Just like a little kid...so adorable...' With no other genin to teach, Itsuki kept herself occupied with watching Chiki run around and sometimes Catori as he taught. A few minutes into training, Alkaid arrived and then soon after a member of Kaji's side job. Face becoming serious, Itsuki shifted her gaze over to them as the man whispered something to Kaji. 'What's up?'

Before she had a chance to ask, Kaji's demenor became urgent and as he rushed Alkaid over to the hooded man, Itsuki turned to eye his quizzedly. As Alkaid rushed off, Kaji quickly made his way over and tightly grabbed onto her wrist. Narrowing her left eye at his facial expression, Itsuki knew something was up from the way he spoke and she knew that whatever it was it wouldn't be good. "Then speak," If he was going use that tone with her, then she'll respond with the same though her voice was clearly more controlled and soft. Off to the side, Chiki noticed the angry looks and came over protective by Itsuki's feet.

Itsuki grunted softly as she felt his grip on her tighten due to his anger. It was obvious that whatever that Tokubetsu member had told him was bad enough to break through his usual calm. 'What's going on...why...' Realization then hit her that what had conspired at the Dojo had reached his ears and just as Itsuki quietly uttered a small cuss, Kaji exploded. Groaning as he began lecturing her on her decision, Itsuki knew she should have expected this but when he brought their deceased Sensei into this, it struck a cord and Itsuki found it hard to keep her composure.

Left eye narrowing into a lethal glare, Itsuki jerked her wrist back from his grip. Though she was deeply angered, Itsuki knew better than to explode in a public area. For Kaji to have outwardly exclaimed to practically everyone in the training field this new addition to their ranks, they were now even more at risk of letting the other nations find out. Taking in a deep breath though her nose, Itsuki spoke in as composed of a voice as possibly but it was obvious that venom was seeping through her own words. "And openly lecturing me about is gonna help? Have you forgotten the first thing we were taught in the hidden operatives? Descrition Kaji! Learn the word!" Releasing a sigh, Itsuki turned her head from Kaji and attempted to remain in control over the current situation. "Keep in mind that as long as I hold the title of Hokage, I make the final decision on things. You have your own views and I have my own. But in the end, this will benefit the village."

Turning her head to face Kaji again, Itsuki's eye held determination and it would appear that Itsuki had already brought her emotions underwrap though in all honestly, she was still fuming inside. 'Jerk! How dare he bring Sensei into this. Questioning my judgement is bad enough but bringing him up...jerk...' At the thought Itsuki couldn't help but reach the boiling point once more and taking a deep breath, uttered a warning under her breath. Her words were completely venomous and if Kaji didn't heed them it was obvious that things won't turn out well. "Also...never, ever, bring up sensei again to lecutre me. I know his wishes and ideals just as well as you do and you have no right to use him against me.." Eyes hard, it was obvious that the both of them were on completely two different standpoints on the current situation.
