Waffle took Luciano's advice and fell asleep in 10 minutes.


(( I finished the group picture for the active RPers. All I need to do is scan, edit and color it. Bonus points for whoever correctly guesses how many times I had to redraw Luciano's hairstyle. sweatdrop ))

((Actually I re-drew 6 times, but that's pretty damn close. Your hairstyle was kinda hard to draw too. I remember re-drawing Mandi's hat at least 4 times, and I had to re-draw half of Waffle's body because her posing sucked horribly. It's going to take me ages to get rid of all the smudges on the paper.))

((I finished it. Finally. And thanks; I think I probably nailed it anyways. I forgot to sign the image though gonk Oh well.))


Sabe heard the car coming into the garage from where he was sitting. Obviously Luciano and Skotti were finally home after what seemed like hours. He didn't hear Waffle's high-pitched chatter at all. He scowled a bit as he headed into the garage to help put stuff away. Once he got there, he saw that Luciano told Skotti not to worry about carrying anything.

Might as well be helpful. But first....

Sabe waited for Luciano to get out of the car so he could ask him what was going on. He certainly saw that Waffle was not in the car, and the blood stains in the back seat were not a good sign either.

Luciano handed Pen a bag, and then he handed Sabe a bag, "Pen, I love the way your mind works- Call Sam and tell her I'll pay for it." he said to Pen then nodded and then he looked over at Sabe, he knew Sabe was probably concerned so he said softly, "Waffle is fine now, I'll give you the information later. I'm pretty sure she doesn't want you to freak out, so for right now just help us out."

Pen smiled and went to the kitchen to distribute the food. Sabe had beaten her to the punch and had expertly put everything in its place. He must have been scoping the place out while we were gone. She shook her head and placed the non food items on the kitchen table.

"Alright I think that is everything," she turned to find no one there. "Okay then, I just call up Sam now." She grunted and left to drop herself in the lobby couch. She sighed and just laid there for a moment.

I hope I can use the Boss's phone, maybe I should have volunteered for the phone bill. She chuckled and just sank deeper in the couch.

She hung up the lobby phone and gave a half hearty smile. "Well she will be ready for it by morning. However for the next few days I'll be commuting to Akeka as a part time grease monkey." She chuckled.

She laid back and looked up at the ceiling. Today was bit out of the ordinary. Waking up from that very couch to do laundry, followed by bills. Then it seemed to get better with breakfast with Michelle and Mandi and then meeting Sam. Everything seemed fine especially with the new earpiece but then finding out Waffle had been shot and new enemy was about to show their heads. Then the panic was followed by more mundane tasks as keeping watch and sorting groceries.

Never normal here for long.

"Sam is good. You won't have long to wait," she chuckled and then thought for the reason why the car was going in the first place.

She frowned and turned her head to Luc. "Now who would be after our young, but strong companion?" She spoke rather blankly as this day was a little trying than normal.
