Lady Bern Well maybe, and this is a huge maybe, she decided to have a son and teach him to be the perfect man. Taught him feminist rhetoric, mannerisms, etiquette, art, and all of the fundamentals. Might even go as far as to make him a eunuch to suppress the pending libido that comes at puberty. Then the maiden would have made a perpetual prepubescent boy. Though mentally I don't know how well that would work out. Artemis is the Maiden Goddess of the Hunt. She's not quite as feminine as most goddesses. Then again neither is Athena, goddess of wisdom and battle

Well to be respectable of the female gender and to protective of all 'maidens'. He would be a huge cockblock! Like making a male into a maiden heart and soul. I'm not trying to put too much thought into this now.

I suppose it is possible, but I honestly can't see how she would be able to get past the fact that she would have to roll around with a guy to make it happen.

We're talking about the Olympic gods. Though some do like to get busy I'm sure she could find a way around it.
Besides she's not just the goddess of the hunt, she's the goddess of fertility or childbirth which sort of confuses me with the whole virgin thing going on. But their are a number of ways it can be done. It can be done in one of those odd godly ways like a shower of silver or golden rays of sunlight from Apollo sort of deals. She could adopt/steal a child from another goddess (might just take it from her womb while she's knocked out). Adopted from a nymph or mortal.
Or one of those weird moments where she turns a man into an infant to raise better. A deer she found hunted and shot dead, when she cut open it's belly a human child came out... really with things like this you're only limited by your imagination not the over all lack of how accurate it is to the mythos.

Alie Valens Zeus's "Golden Shower" rofl I didn't want to bring that one up because I know I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face while typing it. Those freaky freaky gods.

Alie Valens ariongale This is from a Percy Jackson roleplay thingy: (Likos is a son of Artemis... that's just wrong there but...) ___ Likos groaned in pain. His area did start feeling better... until he fell off the bed and hit it again. "So much for kids." he mumbled. ___ Isn't it great? I love messing with my characters! wrong, wrong, wrong! I've taken mythology, I love the Percy Jackson series. Artemis doesn't like boys, she doesn't even like her own brother! No, just, no! I-I want to punch something stare How I figured is she finds some random guy, makes a figure out of moonlight to combine her traits with his, and kills that guy with an arrow. That's how she gets her kids - Apollo just messed her up on this one. That's how we get Likos

Sounds like you're saying that Artemis was raped by her twin brother, and your character was the result. Classy.

Yes, I am perfectly aware that incest is pretty common among them. That just seems a bit too much to me.

You have to admit, it does make a lot of sense. Besides, Artemis has to admire some men. Even she would know that there are some guys that are worthy of that. 3nodding

She's given Percy one compliment in the books, only a compliment nothing more, nothing less. Thalia Grace is really the only hunter who has a friend who is a guy.
