Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi smiled when Sora answered her question. But the brunette seemed distracted. Was he okay? After a moment he locked eyes with the crimsonette, and asked her what she had been up to lately since he hadn't really seen much of her. He had changed his words at the end of his sentence. He had said since but then said a while. Kairi frowned a little. She knew the Keybearer was going to say "since the festival". Sora tried to to say what he meant but couldn't seem to. He frowned to himself slightly, and the red head felt sad. Poor Sora seemed to be struggling to find the right words to say. The Keyblade Master finally told the Princess that he missed talking to her. Kairi looked into Sora's eyes and said "I missed talking to you too." The Princess then felt tears welling up in her eyes. She tried to fight it but couldn't it. All the guilt she had been feeling the past few weeks came crashing down on her again. She turned away from the brunette and looked down. She was afraid to do it, but Sora seemed confused, so she thought it would be best if she told him the truth. Kairi continued to look at the ground for a moment, but then finally got the courage to look at Sora again as she said, "I'm so sorry Sora. All of that was my fault. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable." We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora swallowed a little as Kairi seemed to be completely aware of what he was talking about. Way to go, he thought to himself. Now you’ve done it. He was waiting for things to go awkwardly silent again, and he was racking his mind to find a subject that didn’t seem lame. However, before he could do so, Kairi hung her head and tears fell from her eyes. This shocked the brunette completely and he stared at her for a moment, unsure of what to make of this. Then he just acted without thinking. He took her hand in his and used his other hand to lift her head and make her look at him. ”Why are you crying?” he asked. ”It’s not your fault. I mean, I’m not uncomfortable. At all. I wasn’t before… Just… I was… I dunno…” His voice trailed off. Then his mind caught up with what his body was doing. He quickly released her chin, but kept her hand. ”Kairi… I have to ask. What were you going to say at the festival? Be honest. I really want to know.” He was desperately hoping that she’d tell him the truth and that it’d be what he wanted to hear. He wanted to tell her so badly that he felt… that they were more than friends. But he wanted to make sure he wouldn’t ruin their friendship first. He wanted Kairi by him always, whether she was a friend or something else. And he didn’t want to risk losing her by any means.
Meanwhile, Jack was over with the swamp monster when Blink came over. He looked at the mummy as he mentioned Sally and the doctor. Jack smacked his own forehead as he was surprised he’d forgotten. Between all the commotion of the Transpooker and such, they’d completely slipped his mind. Blink told him that he would go to the graveyard and look for them while he enjoyed the party. The boy started off, but Jack excused himself from the swamp monster and took off after him. ”Hold on there!” he called, catching up to him. ”I don’t want you to go alone. Here, take Zero with you. Zero!” The dog perked up at hearing his name, then barked and floated over to the two. ”You need to follow him and look for Sally and the doctor. If anything bad happens, you come straight to me, understand?” The ghost nodded happily, then flew a circle around Blink while yipping excitedly. Jack gave a nod to thank the boy, then had to return to his conversation with the swamp monster. He didn’t want to get on his bad side, or else he could find some nasty bit of pollution next to his bed the next day he woke up… ((Jack may not be in the next couple of posts. I think I'll have plenty to put as Sora alone...))When it comes to s u r p r i s e s In the moonlit night, I excel without ever even trying.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart The crimsonette felt so stupid for crying, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop. Everything she had been feeling for the past several weeks all came pouring out now. She put her head back down, but to her surprise Sora took her hand in his and used his other hand to lift her head and make her look at him. Her heart skipped a beat at the sudden contact with the brunette. She also felt a little nervous though, she couldn't hide from Sora. He asked her why she was crying, and told her it wasn't her fault and that he wasn't uncomfortable. The Keybearer released her chin, but still held onto her hand. He then asked Kairi what she feared he would ask. He asked her what was she going to say at the festival, saying he really wanted to know. With her chin free, the red head looked down again. Sora had said he wasn't uncomfortable, so that gave her some courage. But either way the Keyblade Master deserved the truth. The crimsonette took a deep breath, her heart was beating very fast now, and looked up. Kairi gazed into Sora's eyes for a moment before saying, What I was going to say at the festival was... Sora... I... I love you." The Princess then quickly shut her eyes, fearing to see the look on Sora's face. What she had just confessed was going to change things between them forever. Whether it be for the good or bad is what scared her. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora’s brows automatically raised as Kairi started to speak, saying exactly what he wanted her to say. Still, it came as a shock. He stumbled around for words and couldn’t find them. Kairi loved him. Kairi loved him! His face grew bright red as this realization ran through his mind, repeating in rapid succession. The crimsonette squeezed her eyes shut, obviously afraid. ”Kairi…” he started, still struggling to find the right words. He just gave up and said what he felt was almost obvious. ”I love you too.” The words almost felt foreign to him. Was he really saying this? Yes, yes he was. And he was happy that he was. So she felt that way about him, and he felt that way about her. At least that was out in the open now. But what did that mean for them? He didn’t care at the moment, as Kairi was still crying. He pulled her into an embrace and held her tightly.
”Honestly, you’ve got to stop crying…!” Sora told her softly, chuckling lightly at the end. He let her go and put his hands on her shoulders at an arm’s length away. He looked right at her, his eyes not wavering from hers. ”I don’t know why you’re so upset. It’s okay. I’m just… surprised, really. I mean, I never thought…” His voice trailed off. How surreal this was began to come across in his mind. After all, Kairi was so… perfect. Why would she ever like him? He was dorky and not too smart. But Kairi was the prettiest girl in school and got great grades… He didn’t deserve her. She deserved to be with someone else that was better than him. So why had she picked him? ”I just never thought you’d like me… I never thought I was good enough for you.” he admitted finally. His eyes dropped to the ground, thinking still. Should he had said that? Yes. He wanted her to be happy, and if she was just saying this to make him feel better or something, then he didn’t want this to become a relationship. He wanted her to be with whoever made her happy, which he really couldn’t believe was himself. When it comes to s u r p r i s e s In the moonlit night, I excel without ever even trying.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart To Kairi, it felt like an eternity for Sora to say something. He said her name and then stopped. The crimsonette was barely breathing, and her cheeks were burning red. What the brunette would say next would either make or break her heart. Finally Sora spoke again, and said exactly what Kairi longed to hear, "I love you too." The Princess opened her eyes in surprise, and just as she did Sora pulled her into an embrace and held her tightly. He softly told her that she had to stop crying, chuckling lightly at the end. Kairi hugged Sora, never wanting the embrace to end, and gave a small laugh again feeling stupid for crying. The Keybearer let the red head go, and put his hands on her shoulders at an arm’s length away. Kairi looked at him as he looked right at her, his eyes unwavering. He said he didn't know why she was so upset and that it was okay, he was just surprised. He trailed off so Kairi spoke up. She gave another small laugh as she wiped away her tears and said, "I'm sorry. It's just when I tried to tell you before, and then things got so awkward, I felt like I had ruined everything between us. And that's the last thing I'd ever want to do." After a moment Sora admitted that he never thought she'd like him, that he never thought he was good enough for her. His eyes then dropped to the ground. The Princess tilted her head and laid her cheek on one of Sora's arms that were holding her shoulders. "How could you even think that Sora? Of course you are. You've always been there for me. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even be here today. Why do you think my heart took refuge in yours? You're my best friend. You make me smile and laugh when I'm sad. When we're together we always have fun. I'm always so happy with you. I love you so much my heart feels like it could burst. I want to be with you forever."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

blink nodded and smiled. "Thanks Jack" he said walking off with Zero by his side. As he came closer to the graveyard gate he sent some vines to pull it open. When he and zero passed through he clicked his finger and the gates closed behind him. He walked around for a bit looking for them. He turned around to notice someone behind him. "Who are you?!" he said.
((Okay so who's sally?))

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora had listened silently to Kairi’s explanation as to why she hadn’t told him at the festival how she felt. She hadn’t wanted to ruin things either. Oddly enough, by not telling one another, they had ended up ruining things for a couple weeks. But now all that was past and they were friends again. Except now they’d told each other how they felt and were perhaps more than just friends. Kairi went on to ask him how he could possibly think that he wasn’t good enough for her. She pointed out that her heart had taken refuge in his own because of how close they were. He allowed a small smile to creep onto his face as the crimsonette told him that he made her happy and that she wanted to be with him forever. ”Me too,” he replied, but that was all he could think to say.
Sora was surprised at how well this was actually going. It just seemed so sudden, but when he thought about it in the long run, it really appeared to seem that it had taken forever. He remembered two years ago when he’d drawn the Paopu Fruit on the Secret Place’s wall, his little picture handing it to hers. Then when he came home again from saving the worlds from the Organization, he saw that Kairi had drawn one being handed to his picture. Even then he’d known it was meant to be, but he’d almost been afraid to admit it to himself. ”I don’t think this will change a thing between us,” the brunette finally told her. ”We’ll still be the best of friends… except just a little closer, right?” He smiled brightly at Kairi, then let her go. However, one of his hands slid down her arm and fell into her hand, which he clasped gently. It felt right for his hand to be there. ”So… now what?” He laughed, as things seemed like they were totally the same as they’d been for years, except he was holding her hand without any awkwardness. ((I will post as Jack/Zero later. But really, who's gonna be Sally and the doctor?))When it comes to s u r p r i s e s In the moonlit night, I excel without ever even trying.

((Can i bring mildred into it now?)) Blink and Mildred
The blond girl looked back at blink and smiled. "Dont you remember me?" she said looking into his eyes. She walked up to him and held his hand. "Its me Mildred, i was your childhood friend when we were four" she said smiling. her smile turned into a frown "Then that one time i came to see you, your parents had sent you away, i was confused at the time," he took him over to a tree and sat him down befor carrying on "And i always though your parents were nice people, why did they send you away i wondered, it bothered me for years, i never forgot, and recently i managed to persuade my parents to move to destiny island." Mildred hugged blink. Blink watched as she explained everything. "But.... i.... dont remember" he said frowning. "I think Namine can look at peoples memories, even lakayna can, lets go ask them, but first i have to find Sally and Doctor finkelstein" blink said standing up and carrying on his search.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi smiled when Sora told her that he wanted to be with her forever too. Hearing that made the Princess so happy. She was so glad that they felt the same way. If they hadn't things would be very awkward right now. Things were going better then Kairi ever thought. To the crimsonette all of this felt sudden, but at the same time it felt like her years of waiting were finally over. After a few seconds of silence, Sora finally told Kairi that he didn't think this would change a thing between them. That they'd still be the best of friends, just a little closer. Kairi smiled and nodded, "Right. We'll still the best of friends, just a little closer." The Keybearer smiled brightly then let her go, but he let of of his hands slide down her arm and fall into her hand. Her clasped it gently and the Princess gave his hand a soft squeeze. This is what Kairi longed for, and it felt so right. The brunette laughed then asked what now. Kairi laughed as well and answered, "I... I'm not sure. I've wanted and waited for this for so long, and now that it's happening I'm not sure what to do. Well what ever we do, as long as I'm with you, I'm happy." We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora felt surprisingly good now that he and Kairi were together, an item. He thought it would be awkward for a long time, but it wasn’t. They still acted the same around each other. He was very thankful for that. Then Kairi admitted she didn’t know what to do and that she’d been waiting so long for this that she didn’t know what to do now that it’d happened. He kind of felt the same way. He smiled down at her, then his brow furrowed in thought. ”Well… let’s go have some fun!” he decided brightly. ”I mean, it’s still Halloween, and we need to spook some more people! Come on!” He kept a hold of her hand and pulled her along through the crowd, looking for someone to scare. That would probably prove to be difficult, since the denizens of Halloween Town were generally scarier than any of the outsiders. Still, it was Halloween, and he was in the Halloween spirit, if there was such a thing.
The couple made their way to the center of the square and to the fountain, where finally Sora stopped. He looked around at everyone, trying to find someone. Everyone was having such a great time, and it relieved him to see that. His mind wandered to Naminé and Marluxia briefly, but he figured they were fine. Kairi was calm, so that had to mean Naminé was too. Finally, Sora spotted two small children exchanging eyeball lollipops, completely unaware of their surroundings. A mischievous smirk appeared on Sora’s lips and he turned to Kairi quietly. ”Found some targets to scare,” he whispered. ”Come on, let’s see what you’ve got!” He let go of her hand and beckoned her to go first to scare the young children, if you could call them that. Kairi was easily scared, or at least in an environment where she was expecting to be frightened. He wanted her to overcome that and show that here, when scared, no one got angry or meant any harm. That would relax her further and they’d have an even better time. And what easier targets were there then two little kids? Plus, he was there to back her up if she needed it.
Meanwhile, Zero had followed Blink into the graveyard. He kept quiet and floated several feet above the boy to look around for any signs of Sally or Doctor Finkelstein. The ghost dog was caught completely by surprise when Blink spun around and demanded to know who was there. He flipped around as well and growled at the newcomer, but then stopped when he saw that it was a girl about Blink’s age. The dog whimpered in slight confusion. She seemed to know him, but he didn’t know her. Zero didn’t recognize her either, and he would know everyone in Halloween Town since he was always around the Mayor and Jack. So the dog floated there listening to the two as they exchanged words. Then Blink stated that he needed to find Sally and Doctor Finkelstein before he could find out who this girl was, so Zero nodded and floated down to the girl’s side. He decided that he would stay by her and monitor her actions, so if she did anything out of line, he could alert Blink or Jack. blink stood up and walked further in to the graveyard. "Sally, Doctor finkelstein where are you?" he shouted loudly looking around. He kept walking when he found a ditch and at the bottom was a tunnel. "Where dose that go?" he asked himself and he climbed in.
Mildred got up and followed him. She watched him call out their names and decided to do the same. "Sally, Doctor where are you?". She watched blink climb into a tunnel and followed him.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart After a moment of thinking Sora decided that they should go have some fun. He said it was Halloween after all and they needed to spook some more people. Kairi laughed and nodded, "Okay, let's go have some fun!" Sora kept a hold of Kairi's hand and pulled her along. The couple then began making their way through the crowd. The Princess felt the happiest she had in a long time. She was still worried about Naminé, but she didn't sense any danger so she remained relaxed. After a bit the Keybearer stopped and the crimsonette looked around, spotting two small children exchanging eyeball lollipops. The brunette turned to her with a mischievous smirk and whispered that he had found some scare targets, and for her to show him what she got. "O-Okay," the red head said with a nervous laugh, "I'll do my best." In a place like this, where she knew frightening things lurked around waiting to pop out at any second, Kairi could get easily scared. So because of that, she wasn't so sure she'd be so good at scaring others. But she and the rest of her friends had managed to scare the towns people, and the two children did seem unaware of their surroundings, so that gave her some confidence. She gave Sora a quick smile, then left his side and began quietly sneaking up on the kids. Slowly and silently she came up behind them and when she decided she was close enough, Kairi leaned forward and shouted, "TRICK OR TREAT!!" We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora watched as Kairi edged closer and closer to the kids. She seemed very nervous, but it didn’t matter to him whether she scared them or not. He just wanted her to have some fun. So he watched silently as she stopped moving towards them, then let out a big “Trick or Treat!” The children jumped and shrieked suddenly, grabbing the attention of some nearby townsfolk. Then they saw that it was Kairi and they started laughing, clapping, and cheering. Sora joined in on the applause and went to the crimsonette’s side. ”That was great, Kairi!” he praised, smiling down at the kids. They nodded in agreement. ”See? There’s nothing to be scared of here. It’s all in fun for laughs.” He hoped that would relax her a bit, and by the looks of her surroundings, the atmosphere was encouraging her to do just that.
Sora handed the kids his pack of candy since they’d been good sports. They didn’t understand, because being scared was a daily thing in Halloween Town, but they accepted the candy nonetheless. One complained that it was the “boring candy”, but the other made him shut up and they went off somewhere else. Sora shrugged and looked back at his friend. ”Alright, now it’s your turn to find someone for me to scare,” he challenged. He briefly thought of spooking Riku for laughs, but decided that the silvernette might not be in the best of moods after discovering his twin sister had a child. And Roxas was probably still in a foul mood from Riku and Naminé’s relationship. Sora’s eyes widened suddenly. Riku and Naminé! If they were together, what did that mean for himself and Kairi? Kairi and her Nobody were very close, so their feelings had to relate to one another. Did that mean that they couldn’t really be a couple as long as Riku and Naminé were? He hated to think that, but there was a chance it might be true. He wondered how hard it would be to get Naminé and Roxas hooked up, and how much Riku would kill him if he tried to do that…
~
Zero followed alongside the girl as they followed Blink, every now and then looking at the girl to see if she did anything strange. Nothing so far. When Blink started calling out for Jack’s lost friends, the girl did the same, which struck the dog as strange. He didn’t understand, but then again he was a dog, so why would he understand? So he just started yipping and barking in hopes that Sally or the doctor would hear him and recognize him, then show themselves. No such luck, however. Soon, they came across a ditch, which Blink jumped into without a second thought. The girl and Zero followed, and Blink pointed out a strange tunnel. Zero knew that it led back to the town through the fountain’s plumbing system, but being a ghost dog, he couldn’t really explain. So he just went after the two and appeared back in the square. Zero barked and Jack heard him, so he turned around. ”Ah, Zero, Blink, you’ve returned,” he commented brightly, then his face darkened. ”No sign of them?” The ghost dog shook his head. Jack sighed. ”Oh well. Ah, who’s your friend here?” He looked pointedly at the girl. She was a new face to him, so she must've be with Sora’s crowd. Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi watched as the children in front of her jumped and shrieked in fright. That grabbed the attention of some of the citizens, and to the crimsonette's surprise they stared laughing, clapping, and cheering. The Princess blushed a little, smiled, and gave a bow. She grinned when she saw Sora applauding as well. The brunette went to her side and told her she had done great. The red head smiled at his praise, "Thanks Sora!" He then told her that there was nothing to be scared of, that it was all for fun and laughs. Kairi giggled and said, "Yeah, I see that now." The Princess smiled as Sora handed his pack of candy to the kids for being good sports. Kairi laughed when she heard one of them complain that it was "boring candy". She thanked them for the fun and they ran off. After that Sora turned back to Kairi and said it was her turn to find someone for him to scare. "All right!" the crimsonette laughed. She locked hands with Sora and began to lead him through town. A little near Jack's house the Princess saw a girl, that looked to be around their age, with her younger brother. The girl was standing there tapping her foot, waiting for her brother to finish adjusting his costume. Kairi turned to Sora with a smile and whispered, "How about them?" We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora allowed Kairi to link hands with him and guide him through town as she searched for someone he could scare. He was a little nervous, hoping that she wouldn’t pick someone too hard to spook, like Jack Skellington himself. He wondered if the Pumpkin King ever got spooked by anyone else, but doubted it. He was the most frightening person in town, so why would he be scared of anyone else? He shoved those thought off to the side as they suddenly stopped near Jack’s house. Kairi pointed out a girl about their age with her younger brother, it seemed. The brother was adjusting his costume, much to his sister’s annoyance. This made the brunette smirk slightly and he thought of a way to scare them. ”Alright, got it,” he whispered in response to Kairi, then pulled the pumpkin over his eye further down to shade more of his face. He let out a creepy chuckle, then snuck to the wall.
Luckily for him, Halloween Town was perfect for sneaking up on people. He jumped the wall and carefully made his way over it. Now that he was on the opposite side as his “victims”, he could seemingly pop up out of nowhere to add to the scare. But what to do to add a little flare? Since these people were older than Kairi’s targets, they wouldn’t just be scared by a shout. That’s when he got an idea. He summoned up his Keyblade as quietly and unnoticeably as he could, then aimed it at a point just behind the two. ”Fire…” he muttered, then dismissed his Keyblade. A circle of fire appeared right where he’d aimed the spell, and using Quick Run, he practically “appeared” in that circle of flames. ”Boo!” he shouted loudly and as dark as he could manage (which isn’t saying much, for Sora was far too positive to sound too scary). ”Happy Halloween, hee hee hee!” Now, the Keyblade Master’s cackle was hardly as intimidating or eerie as Jack’s, but he’d heard it enough to be able to somewhat duplicate it. He just hoped it was enough to scare the sibling pair. When it comes to s u r p r i s e s In the moonlit night, I excel without ever even trying.
