 Kyo glanced about the shop. He had been shipped in that very day, and was still adjusting. As he was still wearing his fine coat and clothes that his late master had always had him wear, he politely declined the change of clothes that was offered to him, although he gratefully accepted the food and water. He milled about his cage, frowning, and wishing very much to speak with the shop owner. He ran a finger along the bars. It was a very nice cage, yes. But it was still a cage, and Kyo didn't think it entirely necessary. In his case, at least. He sighed, his round raccoon ears perking up at the sound of someone entering.
"My, this place certainly sees a lot of business, does she?" He remarked politely to himself. He wondered what sort of clientele they catered to?

Cloud was in deep thought when she heard the sound of a door being opened.Cloud look over at the man in a dark suit.Cloud listen to what he said to the man behind the desk. "Looking for to buy some company huh..." Cloud got up and moved to the other part of her cage so she could talk to kyo and jade. "Jade what do you think he means by "some company?" Also I can't beleave the twins are leaving soon" "So kyo what do you think about your cage?" cloud

"Well, I'm certainly not used to cages, so this is different for me. But, it's very nice, as far as cages go. Still, I don't think I should be.... wait a sec, how'd you know my name!?" Kyo blinked in confusion, his bushy tail twitching behind him. He pointed at the odd person talking to him "Have we met? I don't believe we have. Do you know me???"
If there was one thing Kyo hated, it was being confused. Which put the young coon in a sad state of affairs, as he was confused quite often.

Angels, pixies, faerie dust
Treading love and living lust  Khellan placed the plate back on the table, but made no further effort to move. Her need for sleep had lessened to a small yawn every now and then. She watched the door as new people entered and exited. She looked away before knowing it was not polite to stare. She studied her cage, she smirked at how comfortable it was. She had never seen slaves treated so nicely, especially in a shop. The thought puzzled and pleased her.
Her lavender eyes moved slowly taking in every detail. She had grown a passion for memorizing things. She developed the habit when she had been locked in a cell for two months in the previous year. It was not out of punishment, but protocol and she didn't mind the silence to much. She had memorized every scratch, crack, and crevice in her cell and could still give a full description. She missed that cell, there she knew she wouldn't be moved around the next day or sold the day after that. In that cell, she was given two months of a home and food without question. No surprises. She hated surprises.

Cloud looked down at the ground when she told him her clan is dead.

"Oh! Uhmmm.... okay then." He frowned, a bit embarrassed at the idea that people were talking about him at any point. His ears twitched as he listened to her. Her clan was killed, neh? He'd heard that one about a thousand times before. Maybe people just didn't like clans? Either way, it seemed clans always got killed off save one or two sad survivors. His tail swished along the floor of his cage. He was anxious, and he couldn't find his sword. They'd brought it in with him, hadn't they?

 Jay looked at the check and shook his head. "Sorry... I don't take checks. I only accept cash." Jay said handing the check back to him. "Once i have the cash then i will give them to you." Jay said looking at him and sighed. "But dont' worry... I will hold them for you..." Jay said looking down at him.
Jay's attention then turned to Zander. "Well lord Zander. We have many many pet's here. Why don't you look around and see if you can find someone that catches your eye." Jay said smiling and then looked over at Kyo.
Jay chuckled and nodded. "But of course." Jay said smiling, "We are the most popular and well known pet shop in this city." Jay said looking down at Kyo. (EDITED!!! I"M SORRY!! I THOUGH KYO WAS A MASTER!!) (I"m sorry for the wait!! Sorry i'm rping alot of stuff at onece!!)

Kyo's ears perked up again as he was addressed, and out of politeness he lifted his eyes to the one who was speaking to him. Ah, so this was the owner of the shop? He seemed kind enough. Still, he wondered exactly what would become of him. He had served one master his entire life, and now everything had so suddenly and violently changed. Ah well. Whoever his next master was to be, he would be sure to protect them with everything he had. He leaned against the bars of his cage, wiggling his nose to try and see what scents he could catch.

Jade shrugged at the girls question, straining to get a better look.There were more people coming into the shop, but she still couldn't see anyone. She listened half-heartedly to the others stories, but was more interested in trying to see. Her curiosity tended to suck up most of her attention.

"Jay you don't mind me asking, but I was wondering when I get my sword back?"
Cloud looks back over to Kyo.
"So Kyo you use a sword too huh?"

Kyo looked over at the girl who kept talking to him and frowned, his ears flattening against his head. He was beginning to dislike this girl.
"I never said any such thing." he said, trying to figure out why she said these things "Why would you suggest that I use I sword? I never mentioned using one, nor do I have one on my person, so why would you say that?" Talking in circles. It was a habit of Kyo's. He could spend five minutes asking you the same question. But this girl was unsettling, and it made his tail bristle.
He threw his blue eyes away from the disconcerting girl, and watched the man who was milling about looking for slaves. Kyo frowned. He looked nice, but not the type who needed a bodyguard. He was unlikely to be chosen.

Zander looked over his shoulder and nodded at Jay, acknowledging that he'd heard him, and smirking somewhat at the Lord bit. His eyes roamed about as he continued to wonder, watching as some of the slaves interacted with one another. He was somewhat surprised that things were so... normal. Well, if you discounted the fact that people where in cages, and waiting to be bought. He paused between the cages of two slaves carrying on a conversation and tilted his head, debating on what he was actually looking for.
