Pfft! Prom. My parents didn't pressure me to go. My Grandma did though, to the point of suggesting I go with one of my sisters. I still didn't go. I hated my high school, why would I go to the prom? It seemed most of my friends shared that sentiment as maybe one of the people I knew actually went to it. Considering how long ago that was, I would assume I was playing PSO at the time of the prom.
I can honestly say I don't feel any pressure on Valentine's Day though. I don't date.

Then I'm not sure if I want to go to my school's prom... ._. I could probably think of some better plans to do with my friends, maybe host a small intimate party with only my close friends and a few relatives of mine along with my friend's. If your latino you know how our parties and celebrations can get. ;>.>
A great petpeeve of mine's is untrained singers, >.< I'm in an acapella group and the mezo's are a bunch of barbies that hardly know how to sing, They'll start singing along with some artists or try to sing covers and they absolutely suck! >.< They have no breath support much less control and they do Amy Lee no justice whatsoever of singing her "My Immortal" They don't even know the meaning behind the song so then they also sound like machines. . And they're not doing it for fun, they sang like that for auditions. And then they go off on youtube and sing covers, and then I can't really critize them for singing with their noses..... I'm sorry- wait no I'm not, but Taylor Swift only has half a centimeter's more to those barbies' talent, most of her songs are tuned and have to have the sound editted so much to sound even the slightest bit remote to what you hear on the radio. I hate Brittany Spears- no wonder her Initials come out as BS- and she is not the least bit attractive nor is her singing which is more of sighed out words and gimmicks of simply stripping her clothes off but even then she doens't have that good a body. Kesha... theres a reason why she is autotuned. -_- going back to the music genre conversation I would rather listen to rap/hip-pop than them. There was a guy on youtube who would make covers of anime openings and covers of some vocaloid songs and he did a pretty good job, he also had rants, and one of them was my favorite in which he critisized other dubbers who were simply failing, and went on the different styles of singing, actual singing and then the fail singing and why people would sing that way. xZerulx91 was his username but he took down his videos and quit. ._. I would have loved to show everyone of those barbies and their airheaded friends that rant.

Ten Tails Lady Bern But I do hate the pressure that this day puts on people. Poor guys are pressured by the media to be the 'perfect' boyfriend/husband and get jewels, flowers, and even a damn car. And women are being brainwashed into thinking that they are suppose to expect such things as if they are owed it. Well, while we are all complaining and whining about things. =3 You know what's even worst than that Bern? Prom. Frickin' Prom. Girls have no idea that most times, it's NOT like in the movies. No one is dressed that nice, no one's date goes that well, and no high school boy can afford to buy you two to three thousand dollars worth of evening. And don't even think I am joking. My girlfriend at the time, she wanted me to empty my whole bank account for a single evening. Or else she was going to go with someone else who could pay. No joke. It took a huge series of fights to make her realize that, what she had envisioned in her head, was not how it was going to be. Because that just wasn't possible. my prom wasn't that bad, I went by myself and hung with a group of friends the entire evening. I don't usually dance but I had tons of fun, my dress was gorgeous, my hair was elaborate and stayed in place and I had a TON of fun. I lived in a small town so no one did anything like super fancy. I think maybe two groups of people rented limos but that's it, we came in our own vehicles and such to the prom at the Moose Lodge

New peeve, that I can't rub Phaeton's chest. Muscular guys aren't my type and I love touching a guy's back more so than the chest but I just really really want to rub Phaeton's right now. Gotta go think of a way to do that.

I didn't go to my prom. Didn't go to any of my school dances, in fact. Couldn't go with the person I would have wanted.
Valentine's Day? No prob. My girlfriend once told me that that we would have problems if I got her anything.

Ok, my pet peeve? When some one blatantly ******** up and refuses to admit it.
In this instance dude ******** refuses to heal me as a tank because he's a shadow priest. But he still has heals, but he's seriously watching me die slowly and healing himself, then flips out screaming in caps lock control "JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE THE TANK DOESN'T ENTITLE YOU TO MORE HEALS THAN ANYONE ELSE!"
...
.......
.............
He nearly caused a party wipe because I couldn't stand to stop the damage. So everyone was taking way more damage because my AC couldn't stop it... sooooo... Yeah... really awkward...

See, this is part of the reason why I stopped playing World of Warcraft. People always expect you to play the way they want. It sounds to me like you are a victim of your own peeve. Why were you tanking if you weren't geared for it? And why are you griping about the DPS person playing DPS when it was your healer who couldn't cut it? This may have changed since I was playing, but care to guess why people stopped playing healing classes?

Support has always been a fairly thankless and underrated role. If heals and support weren't so critical to instance combat in WoW nobody would play a healing class. For the short time I played WoW none of my friends played a solid support class. The closest we had was a Feral Druid and a Retribution Paladin. D&D, almost the same thing except I guess we found the whole prepared spells deal to be a crippler. It always took on average another hour and a half for someone to make a spell casting character, and in the campaign we seemed to die or run out of time before they made themselves useful. With all the options in 3.5 and it's distaste for anything short of optimization we often had trouble surviving on the heals we had even though clerics can sacrifice any prepared spells for a healing spell of that level. The divine patch-ups just couldn't cover for the sheer bloody messes people were being reduced to. So melee classes became the norm. It sort of reminds me of this comic. Anyhow, I suppose WoW is the same sort of way. Builds can get very specific and it's difficult to stretch out to something your character hasn't specialized in effectively. Still, if someone screams out in caps complaining when there's a likelyhood that changing tactics could save the run, it's high time to exit the group.

Any role in games like this are relatively thankless. If you actually need to hear those thanks, then you are probably in the wrong business anyway. As for your casters sucking, you just need new ones. I'll admit that sorcerors are a bit different than wizards and clerics, but my sorceror's party consisted of a rogue, two fighters, one ranger, and my sorceror. No healer. We didn't really need one. We fought with tactics. Slapped high AC armor on one of the fighters and had the other fighting with a reach weapon. We stationed them in bottlenecks, so enemies couldn't get around them. If there wasn't one available, yours truly used sorcery to make one. The ranger and I would use our ranged attacks to put down or wound a good deal of the enemies before they even closed. If nothing else, have any early level sorcerors and wizards max out on Sleep. That spell was my staple. Quite easily neutralized almost every enemy that tried to mob us. At that point, our combat oriented characters would pull a coup de grace maneuver and just slit their sleeping throats. To be honest, our ranger and rogue took the most time to create. About a half hour each longer than it took me to create my sorceror. All it takes is a bit of forethought. Shared planning between group members always helps too. Never hurts to break out Mage Armor and Bull's Strength for the meat shield. Or that nifty little flaming arrows spell, whatever the actual name is, for the ranged specialist. Especially when they get lucky with the rapid shot feat.

I don't mind being the healing member of the party. But I don't play WoW, they didn't have the races I wanted, though now they have one and the other is still AI only but screw that I've seen too many bad things happen because of WoW.
Peeve, stupid teenagers who can not separate fantasy from reality. I heard it on the news this morning that a teen lied about being attacked while jogging to hide vampire bite marks she got from her boyfriend while indulging in a vampire role play fantasy. You can guess from what. It's crap like this that annoys me, first people need to own up to the things that they do instead of crying about it to mommy and daddy and playing innocent while putting all of the blame on someone else. Reminds me of that Jessie Slaughter disaster but that made it on TV as a crime of internet bullying of a poor 14(?) year old girl.
Also it pisses me off that stuff like this is news. People are starving and dieing, schools are closing and the combined IQ of children are dropping, and more other important things going on yet this is news. A freaking meteor could be hurling at the earth and it's impact could cause a tidal wave that could cause heavy damage to the eastern coast of the US (knock on wood) and that would be pushed to the last of the news hour, hell there could be a break through in finding a cure for cancer and it will be glossed over in favor of crap like this.

Don't mind the centaur, I just feel like bitching about something right now. Something's been bothering me about peoples' writing for a while now, and I've finally figured out what it is. Somebody will write something along these lines:
"Bright sapphire orbs could be seen peering out from under a shining black veil. Stilletto heels could be heard tapping against the sidewalk..." And so forth.
Okay. For one thing, could the character be seen/heard or were they seen/heard? Is this character nothing but eyes and heels floating in a void, because that's rather creepy. Is it so damn hard just to say "he/she" or the character's name?! I don't know why, but I find this so damn annoying, and I've seen it so many times it's not even funny.
Also, eyes are not orbs, damnit.

Sucker Punch has gained my ire. I won't go into how it's just this sci-fi fanboy's wetdream, how the girls are suppose to be empowering themselves while in their minds dressing a bit skanky.
What I hate is the trailer. I really hate it when movie trailers just show you a bunch of action and T&A but doesn't tell you what the hell the movie is suppose to be about. At work a guy told me how he wanted to see it. I asked him why.
'It looks cool' 'Yeah, but do you know what it's about?' '...' 'You know they show the ending in the trailer right?'
Yeah the last part was me being a bit bitchy. But I just hate it when people get pulled in by special effects.

What I can't stand is how my brother's friend always comes over and eats our food, and as soon as he's done he leaves and without repaying us in any form. And within the next week we have to go shopping again because there isn't anything to eat! I don't mind his coming over every once in a while, but everyday and just taking things like it was his house... that's just not right! It's my parents hard-earned money that he's taking, my mom buys the food so me and my brother can eat- not him. he has his own house with a grandmother who can very well feed him herself. Honestly I'm going to push a fine if he keeps this up and my brother should learn to tell him that he can't just take things like that.
