*nod* Dance is so basic, primal. I've been inspired by "Dancing with the Stars." Pamela Anderson... talk about not being able to look away.

I have seen the "Sparkle" something to do with this new Event they are about to do with the character from the "Fallen Wish" item.

I love Oriental Dances and those that come from India as well, they have a mysterious side to them and are so smooth and well coreographed. 3nodding

I cannot say I know what the Instrument is but I like the Harp like intrument used in Chinise music.

OMFG Asian dances are my favorite! The music and the instruments are just amazing. There was a point in my life where I wanted to play the guzheng (or the koto, since it's similar) but, there was no one to teach it...

Also, about the sparkles: I think it's really annoying! I can't wait until the event starts and the glitters go away...

I never heard the word "guzheng" but now that I see a picture I recognize the instrument

I imagine teachers as well as the guzheng as well as the koto would be difficult to find outside NY and San Francisco with their large Asian communities.

About the sparkles... good news bad news...

The bad news is they're permanent (so says Lanzer in his May 3 Ask the Admini thread.

The good news is he also says the programmers are working on a option to shut it off.

Another good news is if you don't like the new not improved avi dress up page, there's a way to get the old style instead. And there are no sparkles.

Yup, has to be the instrument I was thinking of now that I have a picture of it I know it is what I though it was.

I have seen one played in a movie, Kung Fu Hustle

The bad guys (2 of them) play and as they play they use the strings to shoot out Spirit Darts.

Yeah, the sparkles are seriously getting on my nerves. I noticed today that the aquarium items get their own color too...
I know they did it for "our benefit", but I can't stand it anymore! They better make an 'off' option soon...

@ Giesta - that's great music in that vid, perfect match for the action.

@ Kin - Aishwarya Rai is gorgeous. I loved her singing and dancing in that vid. Too bad there isn't a translation. Looks like there's a good story going on.

One of my favorite dances/dancers (the stand-in for Jennifer Beals) in Flashdance. There are lots of good dancers in that movie.
