Monoe entered the room, not even a bit out of breath.
"Oh, Lord Ecchhymos! I was just wondering if there is any way I could help you."
She had a smile which clearly read there swas some intent behidn what she asked.

Ecchymos looked confused at the look on Monoe's face.
"Um."
He thought for a moment.
"Nothing I can think of off the top of my head, sorry."
He went back to scooping the muscles from the hand. He cut a circle from the top of the hand and put the eye into the new hole. He handed a skull to Vhozd, who pulled it in half and handed it back to Ecchymos. Ecchymos deftly cut out the portions of the brain relating to sight and memory. He fitted these into the hand and reattached some wiring. He pinched the end of the hand shut and put it on the ground. It skittered around like a spider and stared at Monoe.

Ecchymos smiled up at Monoe.
"No, I think I'm fine for right now."
He picked up the handspider and displayed it to Monoe.
"Like it?"

Ecchymos opened the door and released the handspider. It scuttled out the door and went into the crystal room. Ecchymos shut the door and turned to Monoe.
"It's for spying. He'll skitter around and watch people. Listen to conversations. Hopefully give us some idea of what the other teams are planning."
He sat down on the bed.

Monoe sat down with her knees to her chest, mumbling to herself.
"Huh. I guess I really am sorta like a genie, but I'm being forced to grant wishes...."

Heratik took the needle to his stomach but his anger nulled the pain. With the talon arms on his back, he sliced of parts of the needle, leaving a chunk of it within his stomach. He run up to Wadsworth while rapidly moving his claws in a slicing motion.

Rufus, choked on a breath of tobacco. "s**t." He began to dig though his pockets inside the duster, trying to find something. He pulled out a small leather wallet, opening it up, it revealed a checkbook and fountain pen. "I'll take the gun and 5 clips." He wrote out the check, ripping it off, and gave it to the girl. In response, she gave him back the gun, going to the crate where she got the gun, and dug out 5 more clips. She gave them to Rufus. "'Is betta' be worth the cash." He placed the clips into the duster, holstering the rifle in a free holster hidden inside the duster.
Alice began to tighten the various screws and nuts on the outside of the Vulcan, ensuring it did not fall apart when fired.

Wadsworth giggled as Heratik flew at him. As Heratik's claws sliced through his head and into his chest. Wadsworth growled.
"That hurt."
Wadsworth literally bristled, his skin standing up in sharp spikes. He stepped away from Heratik, purposely ripping himself on Heratik's claws.
"Try that again."

"Genies are forced to grant wishes too."
Ecchymos sighed.
"If you want to think about it that way, everyone is forced to grant other's wishes their whole lives."

Heratik held his to hands together in front of his chest. He slowly parted them front each other by only a few inches. Small sparks connected the two hands and as he took them farther apart, a sphere of dark energy formed between them. It grew in relation to the distance, having him hold it above his head now. Sparks continued to fly off it now generating a loud whirring noise.
"i dOn'T tHInK i wIlL."
With a great heave, Heratik tossed the mass towards Wadsworth.

"I used to be. But i broke out of that cycle long ago."

Wadsworth spun so the ball of energy just grazed him. He continued, his hands growing into wickedly sharp sickle-like blades. He spun erratically towards Heratik.
