Amaranth looked to Zayne when she felt his eyes on her. She smiled a little, but there was still worry in her eyes.
"Well, if it's alright with you, would it be okay if you accompany us?" Amaranth asked Lydia.

"I don't know," Lydia said, meekly. OKay with who? She didn't seem to grasp the power so had over her own life now. She figured she should ask Neal when he wakes up again.

"What is Lily and Kir's plans anyway?" Amaranth wondered. Synthic was still in the Academy from what she could tell. Her kindness was completely taken advantage of.

Zayne felt a sigh coming, but he held it back, pulling young Vivian into his lap. She was being awfully quiet right now. Actually in the last bit. She must have felt the gravity of the situation, though she probably didn't understand it at all. Where ever Amaranth went, he would go. And he wasn't sure if he could take Vivian with them... she may be a healer, but it wasn't a safe idea first off. So he would have to find someone he trusted if they decided to go.

Lydia titled her head to the side as she thought about what Mana had said. She could choose for herself? That was new.

"We don't expect you to understand right away, but you can think for yourself and you don't have to like what we do," Amaranth said, "I like to sing, while Kir likes to play piano. Too bad we could never afford one though..." She paused, "So it's okay for now if you can't grasp this all at once. Just take your time."
Kir rubbed his eye and sighed. This girl wasn't even looking his way hardly. That wasn't anything new though. He was used to this kind of treatment on Skyrim.
He was more concerned about the recent chain of events. How long do they have before something big happens again? He wouldn't be able to activate unless his master told him to. He's been feeling strange for a while now, and it's been showing in his emotions which are borderline bipolar. He brought his wing over in front of him and he started preening the feathers while they were talking.

That Lydia wasn't so sure of. Kir had already attacked Neal, so why wouldn't one of them attack her too? She didn't say anything though and just nodded.

"We've had so much trouble because of those Dragonkin crystallis..." Amaranth said, "First Kir's crystallis was a cold hearted killer, then there was that thing with Rachel, and now it's Mer. They are all from the same family. I wouldn't doubt it if that kind of thing ran in the family," She said sarcastically, "I honestly can't blame him for trying to attack Neal. He must think it's been conditioned like all the others."

Lydia shifted a little as she felt Neal become more aware, having heard what Amaranth said. He didn't try to take control, he was just angry now. It was making Lydia feel restless.

"...?" A handshake? Kir wondered what he should do. Well, she shook hands with Lily... Kir carefully reached his hand out and shook hands with the girl.
