Kimmi made a motion at Luke. "Go after her. You're more forgivable than I am." She sat down near Kay. "I'll keep an eye on Kay." She said and made a shooing motion.

Kay didn't move during the whole ordeal but gently patted Kimmi on the shoulder when she sat down beside her. "It's alright... She'll come around once she gets over the shock." Kay sat up slowly to wrap an arm around Kimmi's shoulder. "I just happen to be impervious to shock." she joked softly, bumping the girl gently.

Luke hadn't been sure what Khana would do, but her turning around and leaving surprised him. He hadn't been there long enough t really know the relationship between them, but whatever it was, he had just watched it shatter. Not that it was gone, but the nature of it completely altered forever.
He nodded to Kimmi and first stopped near her. "She'll forgive you... just need to figure out what she is actually mad about" he muttered, and then continued past her, the way Khana had gone. The weird thing was that the news of the "puppet master" being Kimmi's father itself, didn't seem to be the real problem.

Kimmi shook her head. "That's why I didn't want to tell anyone." She hissed. "Did you see the way she looked at me?" Kimmi sighed. "I knew this would happen."

"Hey." Kay bumped gently against Pinky. "Khana looks that way at everyone." she joked, trying to make Kimmi feel better. She kept her arm around Kimmi. "She'll come around... Besides. Who else is she going to get to the liquor?" she asked.

Kimmi sighed and rubber forehead. "I just did what I thought was best for everyone." She muttered. She moved Kay's arm and flopped on the ground. "I'm exhausted."

Kay laughed as she lay back down and placed her hand behind her head. "I'm surprised you didn't come to that conclusion sooner with all the stuff you've been doing." as stated, chuckling.

Kimmi snorted and closed her eyes. "I can get at least 20 minutes before the nightmares. That should be good for a while." She muttered sleepily.

Kay lit a cigarette, sending the smell of rose through the air. Those at least seemed to help with her dreams, maybe they'd help Kimmi too. Kay sighed as she closed her eyes. At least there were no undead around...

It took all of three minutes for Kimmi to pass out cold. She rolled on her side and curled in a ball in her sleep.

Kay sat up and pulled off her jacket, laying it on top of Pinky to keep her warm. The desert air starting to get a bit of cool breeze on it as the sun was gone. Kay's body was the same temperature no matter what, even if it was hotter then normal human... If she was even human anymore. She lay back down and looked up at the sky. She didn't even know what she was anymore. A puppet? A slave? A freak? A monster? Kay moved next to Pinky to help keep her warm as her thoughts swirled around in a dizzying cycle. After she killed the Puppet Master it wouldn't matter anyway...

Luke found Khana sitting on the edge of a different part of the river, further down... which wasn't the smartest thing in case there was more of those things, but he didn't think she would be thinking about that right now...
He had gone slow, giving her time to calm down. He could see that she was cold, shivering with her arms around her legs as she stared at the water and went over to her and put his warm arms around her.
She moved a little bit, but otherwise did not say anything and he stayed just like that for a little while.
Finally, after she had stopped shivering, he asked, "What's really wrong?"
Khana had felt a little better after Luke had gotten there, but that was mostly because he was really warm. She was relieved that he didn't immediately start bombarding her with questions or anything and only asked one after awhile. She didn't answer right away, but at least he didn't ask her again.

Kimmi whimpered softly and moved in her sleep. She shivered and curled up into herself more.

Kay wrapped an arm around Pinky as she began to whimper. Maybe the girl's dreams were more troubled then her own... She didn't know. What she knew was that she was afraid to go to sleep.
