"I'm sure you'll keep me warm if it does."
----
Oriya laughs a little. Just shoving Souma aside, katana still in hand and up though. "More of a punk than he is, actually, in the more traditional sense." Bowing just a little, mockingly. "Mibu Oriya." If these thieves know anything about the yakuza in the area, they'll recognize his last name.

"Of course." Muraki replied, somewhat teasing his friend. "The moon's quite bright tonight." the man observed, looking up at the sky as they walked.
~ ~ ~
Souma paled, but Morita didn't seem to recognize the name. "Is that supposed to scare me?" the thief asked, actually drawing blood from Muraki's neck. The teen stiffened, hardly breathing as he felt the bite of the blade. "Oi!" Souma spoke up, backing away from Oriya until he was behind Morita and Muraki. "Maybe we should just take the loot we've got an leave, ne?" "Hell no." Morita replied angrily. "I'm not going to let this punk beat us."

"It is. It's beautiful." He smiles, looking up. "Peaceful, too, considering how quiet it is."
----
Oriya smirks a little, looking at Souma, then turning his attention back to Morita. "Not very knowledgable about the local crime syndicate? So I assume you're not paying your dues or anything. I'm sure my uncle will be quite interested in that." Looking still utterly relaxed, but his eyes are hard.

"It's a strange silence." Muraki commented. "Especially since it's not that late..." He looked around, but the street was practically deserted.
~ ~ ~
Morita glanced over at Souma. "What the hell's he talking about?" "Mibu." the man replied. "They practically run the Yakuza here, man. We're so ******** as well, Morita's grip on Muraki tightened. "Take one step forward, and I'll slice him open in a split second." he threatened.

".. a dangerous silence?" Quietly, looking up at him, worried.
----
"That would be a mistake." He shrugs, lowering the katana just a little. "'Course you could just leave. Seeing as I care about Muraki-san more than my uncle's business, I'd let you.

Muraki shook his head. "I don't think so... it's just... well... unnatural. Otherworldly." The man smiled at Oriya softly. "Don't worry."
~ ~ ~
"I'm not leaving without a payoff." Morita replied seriously, gripping Muraki's arm tightly enough that the teen winced. "This brat promised payment."

"I won't, then." He closes his eyes briefly, inhaling, then just opens his eyes, enjoying it.
----
"So the twenty-five percent of what you've already taken that my family should be getting isn't enough for you?" He raises an eyebrow. "Go ahead and rifle through the rest of the house. Neither of us care enough to stop you."

"It's as if heaven decided to stop the world." Muraki whispered as a breeze blew leaves over their legs and off down the street. Secretly, he wondered if they were being watched by some other worldly entity... But he saw no signs of it. "Oriya-kun... when was the last time you simply took an evening walk?"
~ ~ ~
Morita shook his head. "I'm demanding one hundred million yen for his safe return."

"Probably before you graduated college." He shrugs a little, smiling.
----
Oriya seriously just starts laughing, amazed by this guy's balls. "How about one thousand and I don't have you both tortured to death?"

This stunned the man. "Are you serious?" Muraki asked, looking at Oriya in surprise. "You haven't taken a midnight stroll in that long?"
~ ~ ~
"This brat's got money, and so do you apparently." Morita replied with a smirk. "One hundred million yen... or I start dissecting your friend." For his part, Muraki was keeping quite still. But the blade pressed closer against his throat, and he felt a new line of crimson trickle down his neck.

He nods a little. "I don't care for them alone. They're boring."
----
"You're starting to bore me." Voice getting dangerous. "You have no idea the kind of pass I'm giving you right now. But if you insist." Now fully planning on having him killed.

"I suppose..." Muraki replied. In truth, the man was quite fond of walking the streets and parks at night. There was something ethereal about the world in the dark.
~ ~ ~
Souma backed up, hands raised. "I'm out on this one. I've got not want to anger the Mibu family." the man replied, dashing toward the window which they had climbed in through. But Morita shook his head. "Back off, sword-boy." he spoke, jerking Muraki's head back this time, his grip on the teen's arm moving to the grey hair. "By the time you draw that sword, he'll be gasping for air."

"I'm different than you." He smiles softly. "Too bad it's not snowing, though."
----
"I haven't made a move on you, have I?" Very calmly. "No need to get brash. I wonder how you think I'm going to get the money though, considering that I have no intent on leaving him here with you. Do you accept checks?" Dryly.

"Would you rather it snowed?" the man asked, wondering if Oriya were serious. "It's cold enough to."
~ ~ ~
"Souma!" the man froze at the window. "Get your phone, we're going to make a call." Morita replied with a smirk. "Your bank. We'll dial it, and have you transfer the money to a specified account."

"I enjoy the snow. Everything gets very quiet."
----
"Fine." Knowing there will be a paper trail left... there always is, even for the most practiced, and these two are clearly novices. Giving them his bank name, then holding out his hand for the phone.
