Mike jumped slightly at Robin's ecstatic response. "Haha, so you're the one who was hanging out with Nitro." He'd have to let her see a battle later. The thought of releasing him crossed his mind, but he did deserve a bit of R&R. "Maybe later." he said to himself. Truth be told, he hoped he wouldn't have to send him out today. Nitro was usually saved for Mike's most dangerous fight, like with Team Rocket. Just the thought put him on edge. He hoped nothing happened at the seminar tonight. Just once he'd like a day like this not to be ruined by Giovanni.
Beacon was certainly enjoying the attention. A few stray spark crackled as he was pet by his new friend. "Nyaaa." he honked. Her legs were smooooth.
Mike's foreboding daydreaming was interrupted by the fleeting sight of long dark purple hair. He blinked. "Mitsu?" There was a Gardevoir beside her. "Karri and Mitsu!" he cried, throwing his hands up in the air. "I haven't seen you in like, over a week!"

Sere realized that she had drifted off into her own little world and had missed the end of the battle. The two that were battling were now off a little ways down the beach. George on the other hand was sitting at her feet, poking her with his fin trying to get her attention. He had been jumping on them, but that didn't seem to work all that well. Serenity smiled down at her pokemon then started to walk towards the water. She didn't really want to go for a swim but she figured she could let George go in and have his fun while she sat at the beach and watched everyone.
"Alright George, don't you be going off too far okay?" She said to the excited pokemon at her feet. He bounced excitedly and she could have sworn he kissed her knee, before he took off into the water.
Sere reached to her belt and pulled out Radish's pokeball. It was as good a time as any for her to spend time with the oddish. She didn't want her to feel as though she loved George more.
Radish bounced out of her ball and looked at her suroundings. They were on the beach further down then where they had stopped for the night. She spread her leaves out wide taking in what she could from the sun. It was a wonderful day. The oddish looked around for her trainer and the blue pokemon that she had become good friends with.
"Over here silly." Came Sere's voice. Radish turned and saw her trainer sitting on the sand, letting the waves wash up on her feet. She bolted and jumped into her lap. Radish figured that George was off in the water some where, and silently wished she could go join him, but then remembered how salty everything was.

M.A. broke herself away from Beacon's hug as gently as possible, curiously patting the sudden airiness of her hair. As straight as it usually was, it was now super volumized and huge, much like the big hair runway models created by spending three hours reconstructing a just-got-out-of-bed look. Oh well, the poof of hair extending to her shoulders would probably subside in a little bit, she figured, giggling as she looked at her shadow's impression of her new 'do. "You're quite a stylist," she grinned, patting the Ampharos' head and not helping her hairy situation (pardon the pun) at all.
Ulani, picturing the perfect nest in M.A.'s big poofy hair, dreamily floated to perch there, only to find herself shocked. Consequently, her wings got big and poofy too! The little bird was indignant, glaring at Beacon for his trouble. Daemyn, meanwhile, was rather uninterested and took the liberty of recalling himself into his Pokeball, out of the blaring sun and the nasty little rocks that blanketed the place.
Upon Mike's sudden call, M.A. too spun around, a huger grin replacing the one that was already there. "Mitsu!" she cheered, walking over to her friend while waving her over. "I was wondering if I'd see you!"
At the back of her mind she wondered how Mitsu and Mike knew each other. Small world, wasn't it?
Meanwhile, Tora blinked and swallowed her last bite hard, shaking her head to get the funny feelings out. Funny, when she willed the shiny process to stop, it stopped. Gee. Maybe this was a new side-effect to over eating; maybe she shouldn't do it no more? "We ... go now?" Tora trumpeted moderately quietly, blinking, now looking perfectly normal (excluding the bulging tummy).

Riza sat up as more voices filled the area, and she wasn't all that surprised to see that Mike and his big, yellow Pokemon-thing had drawn a bit of a crowd. Sneasel had returned to her trainer's side and was watching everyone intently. "This is a little awkward," she murmured, watching Mike hug the thing. Sneasel tilted her head to the side a little. Mike sure seemed to really care about his Pokemon. She stole a glance at Riza, wondering if the two of them would ever be close like that. Riza stood up and shook the sand out of her beach towel, and folded it up before placing it inside her backpack. She pulled her skirt and black flipflops out, as well as her Pokedex. She scanned the yellow Pokemon next to Mike as she stepped into her skirt and pulled it up. The device prattled on in its boring, electronic voice while Riza fiddled with the zipper, and she shut it, Glad to know at least what it was.
She slipped her sandals on and nodded to Sneasel. Everyone she'd met today already seemed to be friends with everyone else (well mostly) and were very busy catching up with one another. "We'll have friends, eventually," Riza said to Sneasel, but mostly herself. Sneasel kept in line beside her trainer, looking over her shoulder now and then as the group of people faded behind them.
The duo were now moving away from the actual beach itself, but were still near the water. The sandy areas ended and now it was just plain shoreline. She could tell by the way the water changed to that dark, navy colour that it got deep awful fast, but to Riza, it wasn't any less beautiful than the sea green shallows for swimming. It was far less populated though, which was nice. "This is more like it," she said to herself, climbing up on a rather large rock and setting her bag next to her. Sneasel thought about joining her, but decided to finish her nap instead. She wandered around to the shady side of Riza's rock and sat down, leaning against the cool surface and closing her eyes. It was nice to get away from all the chatter and noise of the beach goers. "Why was this a good idea again?" Riza asked no one in particular, leaning forward to rest her elbows on her knees. The view from here was lovely.

A low growl escaped Mitsu's lips, "Damn you Karri. I would have made it out too if it weren't for you!" she mentally hissed at the Psychic who was only more than happy to reply with a cheery, "Well it's your own fault, you just had to send me out." Mitsu quickly decided against fleeing, Mike had proven to be the faster of the two before, and knowing her own Pokemon she'd be transported right back to point A. Oh well, she might as well suck it up and turn around.
The purple haired trainer made a quick turn on the heel of her left foot, spinning around to face the group. She gave a small wave to Robin and flashed a smile at M.A. who was currently being givin a new hairdo thanks to Beacon. She'd never really met the silly Electric Pokemon, but she knew enough to know it was Mike's and well, that he was silly. Her smile somewhat grew just a bit smaller as she faced Mike, "Hey there. It feels like it's been forever," she managed to crack while taking a few steps forward. Despite her feelings earlier she was rather happy to see her friend. The smile plastered on her lips grew just a bit larger as she took a few more steps. Maybe this beach party wouldn't be so bad after all.
Karri on the other hand was nothing less than estatic upon seeing the group. "Mike!" she mentally shouted into his head. Boy was she happt to see her trainer's very own pyromaniac friend. A quick look around revealed that neither Nitro or Felsic was anywhere in sight. It put a bit of a damper in her spirits, but nothing serious. She'd see them soon enough.

Riza wasn't sure how long she just sat there on the rock, thinking. At one point she panicked when she realized that she couldn't find Sneasel, but when the Pokemon's clever napping place became apparent she was able to calm down. Feeling a bit bored she rooted around in her bag for a bit, finding first the Poke block case and then the kit for her fishing rod. The case was rather useless right now seeing as she didn't have any berries, but the rod could be used right now. Riza looked warily out at the water. It was deep enough and she was sure she could cast from here. Probably.
The instructions were easy enough to follow, and after ten minutes or so Riza had set it up completely, pole, lines and all. The last step was attaching a lure, and she added one of the nice colourful ones her brother had given her. It helped that she'd gone fishing with her dad quite often, and was there when Jaden caught his first Pokemon, also by use of a fishing rod. Riza stood up to gain a little more height on the water, and she leaned back and flicked the pole forward, watching with a satisfied smile as the lure flew through the air and landed out in the water far out in front of her with that delightful 'ker-plunk' sound. Now that her line was in the water, all she had to do was wait.

Robin just nodded enthusiastically at Mike, the Charizard trainer had talked to her! She was giddy with excitement and practically dancing where she stood. When she did calm down she took one look at M.A.'s new hair style and had to turn away before she started laughing at her face. Doing her best to not be rude herself she didn't pay attention to Raz who started laughing in his own way at M.A. Regaining her composure Robin turned to face M.A. again and to her surprise Mitsu was there as well. She didn't really know the other that well but she was still happy to see her. "Hello Mitsu and Karri right?" She wasn't sure what her Gardevoirs name was but she thought that was it.
On the ground Brook followed the pretty purple haired girl from last night with a happy look on his face. As he looked over at the other girl from last night Brook saw her big hair. It was so cool, he didn't have any hair... just the weird feeler things. Said feelers drooped slightly as he grew sad for a moment.
Seeing the sparkling stop Luffy shrugged slightly, it had been pretty cool. Finishing up his bag of pokemon treats he tossed it back over his shoulder with his tail. He might have eaten a bit much, his belly was bulging in a cute sort of way. That wasn't a big problem since he would work it off in a few hours, just in time for lunch to! Nodding he picked himself up and waddled over to Tora before frowning slightly. There was no way he would be able to ride his cool surfboard with ears. That was no fun...

Kurine smiled at the older boy and replied, "I'm Kurine! I just became a Pokemon trainer a few days ago. What about you?" She hadn't expected to come across another trainer with a Cydnaquil so soon. Then again, there were only three starter Pokemon to choose from, though that didn't mean that that was how everyone started their journey. This boy was obviously past the regular starting age for Pokemon trainers, so it wasn't like everyone did the exacts same thing.
Cyndaquil sat by his trainer's feet, watching the other Cyndaquil and assuming by what Kurine said that it was probably the other human's Pokemon.

Train watched the battle with interest. All of the Pokemon involved seemed quite strong, even though one of them--a tadpole-looking Pokemon she had never seen before--was bawling for some reason. She glanced at all the trainers quickly, but was soon fixated on the battle again, watching as all the trainers gave out commands easily enough, even though there were at least seven or eight different Pokemon out, and three or four trainers that needed to give commands. Train ws sure that she would end up getting confused with all the attacks going around, and, in fact, she already was, a little bit, just watching. She sort of hoped it would end soon, because she kind of wanted to meet the Raichu's trainer, who hadn't seemed to notice either her or her Pikachu yet--though she was pretty preoccupied, so it made sense.
Pikachu had been watching the battle a bit, too, but now scampered a little closer to the Raichu and her trainer and chattered up to her, wondering why the huge battle was taking place, and why the Raichu suddenly seemed so upset.

Jaeshan's eyes opened wide when the Will-o-Wisp was sent out towards Shelgon. Never before had he seen such a beautiful attack. He felt quite captivated by it, so much so that he was unsure if it was a Fire or Psychic, or even Dark or Ghost-type move. It had him so entranced that he didn't even think about countering it.
Luckily, Shelgon wasn't enthralled by the oncoming flames, not at all. In fact it was just the opposite. The dragon planted her feet firmly in the sand and pulled in a deep lungful of air before expelling a Dragonbreath directly at the flames from Helios' Will-o-Wisp. Shelgon had been sure to spread her attack out in a wide arc in order to stop all the wisps of fire, so the chances of the Vulpix getting hit by it were virtually none.
C'mon Keegan, is that all you've got? Jaeshan thought with a smirk. He had to admit that this fight was turning out to be more fun than he initially thought.

Mike took a moment to enjoy the rainbow of hair colors and the lovely ladies sporting them; most in bikinis too. Life was good. All he needed was Sasha, Kasiya and Flannery to have nearly the whole spectrum. "Good to see you two!" Mike said joyously as he flung open his arms and pulled them into a hug. Maybe that would help lighten Mitsu's consistently less than stellar mood.
Beacon was a bit overwhelmed at all the new faces and Pokemon. He didn't have enough time to process one when another one would come by. He spun around in futile attempt to see everyone, but just ended up falling in the sand.
((I had like, no inspiration for this one, haha.))

She returned the hug, at first a bit awkwardly, but she soon found herself melting into the familiar arms of her friend. Damn, that Flannery sure was lucky, she thought both with a laugh and a sigh. The hug broke only too soon as she was left standing next to the small gathering of people and Pokemon. All of the faces were familiar, though some more than others. "hey Robin, M.A.!" she replied before turning back to Mike. "I shouldn't even bother asking if you're here for the beach party or not, huh?" she said with a light laugh taking note of his, suprise, surprise, flame decored swim trunks. She had to admit he had always cheered her up, but she wouldn't say it out loud. "Don't you dare Karri!" she thought right afterwards.
Karri laughed, a bit of light music rolled through everyone's heads, Karri's laugh had seemed to begin to manifest itself into music. It was a bit odd, but then again, it wasn't. "Would you like me to take care that hair of your M.A.?" Karri asked. "A pretty girl like you should have hair that's more. . .suitable."

M.A.'s expression turned a little dreamy as Karri laughed; it reminded her of bells, and the prettiest kind. She reacted a little, though, when the Psychic-type's voice wafted in her head, although her ears certainly hadn't heard it. "Oh! Right, you can read minds." A mild flush at the unaccustomed compliment, a crooked smile in Karri's direction. "And if you like! I wouldn't mind either way."
"I'm curious, though... Would you mind a question? Oops, there's already one." Since this was M.A.'s thought-process and not spoken words, what Karri heard was probably more verbose and wandering. But M.A. figured that she was used to that much. "If you hear everyone's thoughts... Doesn't it giver you a headache?" A tiny part of her felt slightly uncomfortable, since technically Karri was everyone's confidante whether they agreed to it or not -- not that she didn't like the Psychic type, but as naive as M.A. was, she knew that everyone had bad parts to them, from greed to wrath. Wouldn't Karri see those things, and find them rather appalling?
Enough psychology though; M.A. really didn't think that deeply.
Ulani, seeing the pretty purple-haired girl and a pretty green-haired girl -- no, Pokemon -- went to greet the both, recognizing the former as M.A.'s friend after a moment's worth of thought. However, it was mostly Karri who caught the Swablu's attention -- that voice! Exquisite! Oh, how'd I love to sing like that, the little Swablu thought enviously, gently hopping heads to land on the Gardevoir. She was about as light as a bag of feathers, so hopefully it didn't bother the Psychic too much.
Tora dragged her stomach across the hot sand, feeling rather uncomfortable. Gee whiz, this wasn't very fun. M.A. was so far away. What were they going to do? She glanced over at Luffy, who also had a rather protruding belly, and looked for any signs of hope.

Both trainer and Pokemon looked on in awe as the Will-o-Wisp was eaten away by Shelgon's well-aimed Dragonbreath attack, neither of them very impressed. Keegan sighed and glanced at Helios. Again he was dealing with a very well-trained Pokemon. "You're pretty good at this trainer stuff," he called out to Jaeshan.
Helios snorted and pawed at the sand, no longer annoyed by the fact that it was getting him dirty. The Vulpix glanced up at Keegan, eagerly awaiting his next order. Keegan studied the fox for a moment and then sighed. He could try to confuse Shelgon, but he wasn't sure how well that would work. Deciding to go with pure power for the time being the redhead thrust his hand towards the dragon. "Flamethrower Helios, go!" he barked.
Helios emitted a low growl before he felt the flames build up inside him. Rearing back he proceeded to blast the jet of fire at Shelgon, knowing it wouldn't be as effective as he wanted it to be, but right now it was better than doing nothing.

Jaeshan knew that Helios was fairly strong, especially judging by the amazing blast of flames heading toward Shelgon. But, it was still a Fire-type attack after all, and if he knew Shelgon well enough, she wasn't going to fall to something she was resistant to. "Charge through the flames and give Helios your best Headbutt!" Jaeshan shouted.
Shelgon grinned (although no one could really see it), and began to charge forward. She didn't utter a sound as she crashed into the Flamethrower headlong, sparks and wisps of fire flying off in every direction. A curious, yet strangely familiar power began to build up in her body as she ran, and she focused it as she closed the distance between her and Helios. With a roar she lowered her head and prepared to crash into the fox.
