Hanse peered back at the others in the room, "I will answer your questions at another time when such cretins aren't around." His eyes turned sharply to the hotel staff member now blocking his exit. He let out a very low snarl as his gaze pierced the soul of that helpless man before him. "I was making the noises you heard. And with my parting of your worthless building will take those complaints will leave with me." He took a few steps closer to the staff member, narrowing his eyes at him. "And if you hinder my departure, I will make sure that your time on this world comes to a rather quick end."

It was clear poke hadn't been expecting a gun to be pointed at her head. She frozed, her eyed watching the metal contraption as it was raised. She had only heard of guns before, or seen a few pictures of them in books. But she knew enough that she didn't stand a chance if she decided to attack again. Sighing in defeat, she raised her hands and stood up weakly, all her weight supported on her right leg. This time, she looked a little scared as she thought of what was going to happen next.

"Good girl," He spoke to her as if he were praising a dog for successfully completely a trick. "Now, take a seat." He gestured behind him with his head to the seat Poke once sat in. Never once did he move the gun from where it was aimed, and he was sure to keep it square on its mark as she moved. This wasn't his first time holding a gun.
"I want a sample of blood and I want to run one test. After that we can discuss your leave of my facility." Though it more than likely wasn't true, it was just a way to get Poke to cooperate for the time being. Fill her head with empty promises and fail to fall through with them when there was nothing she could do.

poke sat down in the chair as instructed, and waited untill he asked her for a blood test. "...is that it?" she repeated somewhat stunned. She nodded, though inwardly she realised he was just trying to trick her again. Why kidnap a person, lock them up, then put a gun to their head if all you want is some blood?
Does he really take me to be that stupid? she wondered. There is that other test he was talking about...wonder what it will be...

"I can see your mind at work," Suto mused as he stepped a bit closer. "I can almost hear what you're thinking." First Suto stopped by his desk and pressed the intercom button. "Kilo, please start heading this way. I would like you to escort our guest back to her cell when I am done here, and try not to let her get away this time."
"Yesss Sssir," Came the hiss of a voice through the speaker. It must have been the mantis man from before.
After that was done Suto opened a drawer in his desk and produced a long syringe and approached Poke to get a blood sample. "After I get a sample I will send you back to your cell to rest for the time being. I would like you to be in top form for my test."

poke's body shivered at the sound of the mantis man. Perhaps he was gonna be the apointed guard at her cell now. Although in someways it was good, she didn't like knowing she would have to put up with him more often.
top shape for my next test huh? that can't be good Eyeing the syringe, she presented her arm and looked away. She didn't want to see that huge thing go into her arm.

Suto smiled, oh how cooperative she was being now. Cleaning a spot on her arm Suto went about taking a sample of blood. Surprisingly he was gentle about it, then again it was only fun when they resisted from the get go. Half of the people brought into his lab that he pulled a gun on never seemed to take it into account. They blindly moved forward taking the risk of dieing as long as they could escape. It was admirable in one aspect but incredibly foolish in the other.
"There," all done. Just as soon as Suto moved away with his prize Kilo entered the lab. The mantis man gave a few clicks to make his presence known. "Ah, Kilo, very good. Take Ms....."Suto looked at Poke and chuckled softly under his breath as if he were remembering a funny joke from earlier. "Well, whatever she wants us to call her, please take her to cell block C. I will request to see her in a few hours. In that time I suggest you rest." He directed the last comment at Poke as Kilo approached and reached out to wrap a clawed appendage gently over Poke's arm.
"Come along misssss," His buggy eyes focused on her as he spoke, his face rather blank and emotionless.

It stung, but appart from that she could hardly even feel it. Poke waited untill the neelde was taken back, and then eyed the mantis man who came over. For a minute, it looked as if poke was about to jump out of her seat when he reached out his arm. But she stayed put, and shivered when the clawed appendage touched her. Poke looked back when suto seemed to laugh at her name. She eyed him and didn't say a thing, befor ebeing led out of the room.

As Kilo led Poke out of the room Suto put his gun away and went back to work at his desk. He stared at the vile of blood for the longest time trying to decide what he wanted to do first. With a blood sample it was very easy to test the different reactions her body would have to chemicals, drugs, and so on. But it was also very interesting to see how her stamina and pure determination might carry her through.
Kilo opened the door keeping a hold on Poke and gently led her out. He took her down the hallway and turned left staying silent for the most part. It wasn't until he was half way down the hall that he paused and looked at Poke with his bug like eyes a clicking sound admitting from his throat before he spoke. "Sssso, isss it true that you were with Mitsssssu? Isss ssshe really okay?"
He had been Mitsu's caretaker from the time she was very small, and though he had been told not to he had gotten attached to her. Her sweet innocent nature was hard for him to resist. When she had escaped he was both glad and worried. The outside world was tough and she had been sheltered in the ways of defending and fending for herself.

poke seemed surprised that the mantis man had known about mitsu as well. It seemed like she was well known around here. "y-yes, I was with her.." she replied and then looked away from him, feeling more then a little creeped out. "..and she's fine. In good company" Another pause followed, before poke decided to ask him, "was mitsu really here? in this facility?"

"Yesss, ssshe hasss been here ssssince sssshe was sssmall," So many s' made the sentence come out more like a hiss but the words were thankfully still audible. "Ssshe issss one of the few experimentsss to have ssssurvived and the only one from her tribe." The mantis man fell silent as he turned to look back down the hallway they were coming from. They were alone thankfully. "Follow me." Turning off course Kilo led Poke down a much darker hallway. "I have watched over Mitssssu ssssince the firssst day sssshe got here. I'm glad to know sssomeone issss taking care of her in my place."
Opening up a door Kilo shuffled in quickly with Poke in tow. "If you want to leave you musssst lisssten carefully." The room they were in looked like a dingy little apartment filled with the very barest of necessities. Leaving Poke at the door Kilo ventured into the room picking up his pillow and striping it of the case. From there he walked around the room opening cupboards and filling the make-shift bag with food, matches, canteen, and other useful things. "Go back down to the hallway we were jusssst at. Make a right. Follow it until you ssssee a ssssteel plated door and a hallway on your left. Turn down that hallway and the third door down on the left will open onto a ssssstaircasssse. The sssstaircasssse will lead you up and outside but do not let what you ssssee there disssstract you. There is no time to wasssste once you open that door there will be an alarm."
Setting the bag of goods on the floor Kilo picked up a pen and paper and began to write feverishly. Once he was done scribbling on the paper he hurriedly folded it and handed it to Poke along with the parcel. "Please, give that to Mitsssu."

It was a little hard to understand but poke was able to make out his words, and now she felt a little guilty for being scared of him in the first place. Never judge a book by it's cover as the sane goes. It also felt weird to be talking to the person that may have been the closest thing to family mitsu had ever known before she found yuki and neko.
The next surprise came when poke was lead to the small room instead of a cell. She listened intently to his instructions. "right" poke replied, and then watched as he began to write down something. She recieved the items, and with care placed the note in her pocket. "Of course I will." She made to leave then paused, turning back. "Will you be alright here?" She was worried that if suto discovered what this mantis man was doing, he might be punished severly.

Kilo paused as Poke had stopped and asked in a concerned voice if he would be alright. No one had ever been concerned for him before and truth be told he knew he wouldn't be alright. The instant Suto found out he would be punish for his disobedience. None the less, something close to a smile formed on his face. "I will be alright. Jussst go." Quickly he picked up a jacket that was hanging on the back of a chair and shoved it in Poke's arms as he opened the door and shuffled her back out. "I'll make it look like you esssscaped. Make you a disssstraction. It ssshould buy you sssome time. Mitsssu needsss her new family now."

[Sorry, this is probably going to suck. Not thinking of posts too well right now. XD; Just trying to post before work so that things can move along again. Just pretend Hitsu is standing there listening and observing, as she usually is when I post little to nothing for her... >>;]
Just seconds after Yuki had come to the sudden realization, everyone was drilling him with questions. At first, he tried to think of proper responses, but the fact that he didn't have the information they wanted frustrated him. So, in the end his response was clearly an angry one; "How am I supposed to know where he took her!? I was trying to stop him!"
"Yeah, I was chasing him." Yuki replied shortly to Riyo, "And my last ditch effort to slow him down seriously backfired." Why hadn't he said it before? "As for the delay, I was kinda distracted by the excruciating pain that I woke up in... Not to mention the moments that followed."
To Blade, however, he glared. "The only people I know are in this room. How would I know who took her?" He snapped, though a moment later seemed to think better of the response. "He was wearing a cloak so I couldn't get a good look at him... But it wasn't the hound." He stared at nothing in particular, worriedly. "Why would someone be following Poke?" It really didn't strike him as reasonable, and he looked up to Neko. "What if this isn't a coincidence? What if there's more of them, watching us and waiting for the chance to pick us off?" Poke had been alone, it would have been the perfect opportunity... And, obviously, the new threat had succeeded.
As though these last several minutes couldn't get much more awkward, there came a knock at the door. Great. Sounded like their surrounding neighbors didn't appreciate all of the screaming and shouting. Yuki felt guilty... Almost. Wasn't like he had made noise just because he felt like it, after all.
Tobi barked, Yuki flinched. God, it was like someone tried to wedge a pick into his ear with that one. As Neko tried to get rid of the evidence, Yuki shouted out the only thing that came to mind; "What if it was? You got something against people who bark? I don't think your supervisor would take kindly on discrimination." He figured, however, that if the staff really wanted to kick them out for excessive noise, it didn't matter what dialogue was exchanged. Either way, maybe he could be convinced that the barking was being done by something on two legs rather than four.
When Neko returned to the room and ushered her toward the door, Hitsu tried to think of exactly what she was supposed to offer in defense. Explaining the situation would be out of the question, that much she was certain. Perhaps they could sugar coat the truth? That didn't seem like a bad plan. Then there was always just apologizing and hoping that would do some good... Though, between Neko and the dragon at the door Hitsu was certain she'd be the only one offering such a suggestion. As their luck would have it, Hanse spoke first... Hitsu winced a little. Wasn't he just going to make the situation worse?

poke felt a little relieved, but still wasn't so sure. But it didn't matter as much now. She had to get out, and get out fast. Following instructions she walked back down the hallway quickly, not wanting to draw attention to herself by running. She made the right, then kept going untill she reached the steel door. She also kept the bag underneith the coat in a attempt to conceal it. It would look bad if she was seen with any sort of supplies besides the coat. Taking the left turn she reached the third door and paused. He mentioned about "distractions" Part of her could guess what they might be, and the other hoped that it wasn't. She opened the door and went inside the staircase.
