Kioko felt all that released energy sweep back into her in one instant. she gasped and fell down to her knees. Gasping for air, she held a hand close to chest, making sure her heartbeat was going back to normal. using the walls as a support, she got back up on her legs.
"that was, unexpected." she said between gasps.

In the next few minutes, Karin led her brother and the girls back to the motel, where she ordered a couple of large pizzas. There was nothing to do for the shock Tony had about his sister's apparent return from the grave, so he just stared at her as he ate. Karin, aware of this, let him. A lot had changed in the time that they were separated, and this was the moment of revelation for both of them.

Crow disregarded the doctor as quickly as the runes were deactivated, making his way over to Kioko quickly. Despite the stress it seemed she was able to stand on her own, so he sufficed to urge her away from the opening with a hand pressed to her back. As glad as he was to be taking her place in the mysterious space, it made him uneasy to think what might result if his powers went haywire like hers. He turned to the doctor, was he really so serious about this, or was this just some toy he had decided to test out?

"thanks crow." she said regaining her composure and moved away from the opening.
Turning around, she leaned herself on the opposite wall, worried what might happen if crow's powers went like hers.

Crow walked into the dome of runes without hesitation, turning to face Doctor K, arms crossed at his chest and feet slightly apart. He glared at the doctor, as if daring him to try something. Uneasy as he was about the revelation of secrets even he didn't know of he left his mind open for anything, keeping conscious of his body's responsiveness. If things got out of control he wanted to be sure he retained as much persuasion over the situation as possible.

Doctor K passed his hand over the figure once again, the strange lines along the wall lit, and the runes began to glow. Of course, he was skeptical that Crow would try anything, this too was a dangerously unknown variable to him. Drawn to the runes as if awakening from a deep sleep dark energies reached out from Crow's body to touch the runes. Puzzled the doctor watched closely as they danced around his body, coming dangerously close to the surrounding light. His careful nature was betrayed by his hand as it froze in light of what he was seeing. These ancient runes seemed to have some alternative reaction to the dark energies that were released from the experiments.

The dark Ki energy that extended from Crow's body splashed into the air and faded from sight like black ink. It barely licked the runes, and when it did they dimmed from their bright red light to a darkened bloody crimson. Suddenly the aura exploded into the room, reaching out and almost touching the other two. Crow could not feel it when his mind slipped from his own hold. It dropped from around Crow's body revealing a completely different side, blood seeped down his arms and dripped from his hands, his face also ran with rivers of the gore. His eyes were the same red as the doctor's, glowing from within the waves of black energy. "Huuuh...Haaa!" Droplets and a spray of sanguine fluid flew from his mouth with the bestial screams. This was the dark nature of the experiment's powers in it's basest form.

"doctor! STOP IT!!" Kioko screamed, forcefully shoving herself up using the wall.
She ignored the pain signals her body was sending to her as she clumsily ran over to the doctor, shoving him to the wall away from the dark energy. Looking back, she looked with pain filled worry as to what was happening to crow. she didnt know what to do, so she turned to the doctor.
"doctor! stop it now!" she yelled over Crow's screams

The violent change in Crow's demeanor was quite shocking, not the change Doctor K had expected the runes to elicit. Nonetheless he was composed, he would never presume anything of the unknown. He heard Kioko's call for him to cease the activity, but his goal was not yet accomplished here. Enveloped by the extreme changes going on he failed to notice anything before he was shoved aside by Kioko, he caught himself on a nearby glass tube before going far. His plan would not reach completion unfortunately, as the dark waves cascaded against the walls of the room they began to fracture and crumble from the alterations. The wires that ran along them were quickly damaged beyond function. With his plans hindered here there was no point in allowing the experiment to run rampant and violent, in a swift motion the doctor tossed a shining crystal into the crevice. Upon it's entry the runes glowed with a blinding purifying light, flushing the tides of darkness from existence.

Kioko groaned from the pain her body was giving off. The shove to the doctor had gotten his attention and he stopped the energy. But crow was still in pain. She looked up from the floor at the doctor and then at crow.
"what the heck did you do?" she asked the doctor.

A low groan sounded from the space where the light shone, Crow stepped out, looking normal aside from the streams of dried blood down his face. His face was grasped by his hand like he'd been suffering from a migraine. After removing it he looked up to glare at the doctor. He couldn't remember anything of what had just happened, and that's exactly what pissed him off.

Doctor K swept away some loose dust from the object he'd caught himself on from his lab jacket. "I salvaged what I could of my laboratory from destruction, that is all." He cast an impatient glance at Crow, then looked back to Kioko. "Unfortunately for all of us this little detour means that our only method of proceeding requires a small trip back to the lab..." The doctor pulled a few stray hairs out from behind his mask and let them fall back to the side, then moved into the hallway and began running a finger along the books, searching them for a particular detail.

"are you serious? what are you planning to gain from this doctor? if it only means that everything will just explode." she said pointing out what had happened to Crow.
Sighing she leaned over to him to see if he was alright. even if he was a superhuman, they still bled and they still hurt.
