Boone smiled when he felt Shannon take his hand. He no longer had quite the same feelings for her that he had, but he still cared about her, and above all else, wanted to keep her safe. He could only hope that the "voices" Shannon had heard had just been her pregnancy messing around with her mind and not something actually haunting her. The most he could do at the moment was to walk Shannon to the beach, and which he had faith in his ability to do. He pulled a little at Shannon's arm and said with what he hoped was an encouraging smile, "Let's get out of here."

Heather was wondering around in the woods wondering if everything was alright now. She did not like the sight of blood. Right now she feels like she'd crenge at any sight of blood. Especally if had she have a vision of blood all around her.
Everything felt calm around her, and she wonders if what had happened was all over. If so, then it may be best to head back to the caves and gather her things.

Shannon smiled gratefully and followed him out onto the sandy expanse. The wind blew through her hair and she felt much better though a nausea tugged at her sense. Not in front of Boone she thought furiously. They'd finally come to a...what was it? Understanding? They were finally getting along and the last thing she wanted to do was to vomit all over him, or even in front of him.

As Boone and Shannon walked to the beach, Boone couldn't help his thoughts drifting to Claire. I guess I have stopped thinking of Shannon that way... he thought to himself- he was still holding his sister's hand and there he was, thinking of someone else. It's best for us, anyway, he reassured himself.

"Um...thanks for walking me...I have to go...um..." She tried to swallow past the bile in her throat, something she used to force but now detested. "Go talk with Claire...or something..." She let go of his hand and rushed off into the nearest bit of jungle, just as her body gave its first retch. Falling to her knees she tried to brace herself with one hand and use the other to pull her hair back. "Oh christ..." She croaked before retching again. She vomited onto the grass, twice before the heaving began to subside. Panting and with tears in her eyes she threw herself back into a sitting position, wrinkling her nose at the smell and the taste in her mouth.

After Shannon ran off, Boone shrugged. He never knew what was going on in her head, and with her pregnancy, she was probably going to get even more confusing. Instead of following his sister, he decided to walk over to Claire.

Once he was close enough, Boone leaned over to kiss Claire on the cheek, and asked with a smile, "How are you guys?"
