Trek can be fun to read, if it's an RP. I made a gag musical where the Q sang " Princes of the Universe. "

Kirk can be the old man in the first row, saying "In My day, I was the big star. What happened?" Then Spock can walk up and say "Jealousy is Illogical captain."

Spock + Kirk = Kock.
Actually, The william Shatner Roast will answer anything put on about Shatner's abilities for quite a long time. Especially Shatner's ending speech.

Actually Q is a hardcore star wars fan in my FanFic. It's pretty darn funny.

In my own Trek RP bits that I make for a friend, I make adventures for the USS Retaliation. It's a newer prototype-ish vessel, capable of beating the crap outta a Romulan warbird with relative ease. The idea is, Col. Angel Nemesis ( my char and CO of the vessel ) is in a unique position, being half E'lorian, and encountering some weird things. She appears to be barely out of her teen years because of the age thing. She has a cybernetic eye because of a serious injury in her earlier years in service. She ends up becoming involved with her 1st officer and peaks the interest of the Q. They want her to join them because they forsee her becoming godlike in a few centuries. In a certain " episode " she's forced into making a deal to join them whenever she transcends, in exchange to save her ship and crew from a bizzare occurence with a temporal distortion. She occassionally has visions of the future at randomly, along with a mild clarvoyant sight power and telepathic skill. She progresses harnessing them to a point and discovers a new race, the Gaexl. The Gaexl get Hell-bent on crushing the Federation and everyone else they can't rule over. This ends up working for the Federation as it inspires the Romulans to join them to fight back a mutual threat that can possibly destroy them all. It seems that the Feds are winning against the Gaexl until the Borg assimilate the Gaexl homeworld. At that point, everyone's scared because they know it's only a matter of time before the Borg start invading Federation space.
This is where Nemesis goes into her glory bits. She's able to kick the Borg's a** something fierce, but then gets assimilated herself. A failed rescue attempt by a few of her crew results in her being severed from the Borg in such a way that she's still one, but she regains her own identity and self control. She goes Rambo on their asses and takes out a Borg Cube by herself like it was nothing.
The Borg are pushed back but not entirely beaten. Many years later, Nemesis ends up almost to Q level and uses her power to warp her new ship to the heart of the Borg's domain. She confronts the Borg Queen and paraphrases the Borg mantra and says, " Not quite the same when you're the one who can't do anything about it. " then destroys her, and then eradicates all the other Borg out of existence.
After that she spends the rest of a couple of centuries to play a more peaceful role in patrolling space and doesn't have much happen. She meditates on her powers and all that and finally transcends. She retires from the Federation as the most elite officer ever and does a Q style warp and vanishes from the known universe.
She reappears some centuries ago to find her old love ( her original 1st officer ) as an old man being Captain of his own vessel. His ship's been abandoned for all but him, and he attempts a suicide ship-to-ship charge to take out an enemy that is about to annihilate his escaping crew. Nemesis freezes time at the last second and pops in, takes the man, goes " Huh, so this is why they never found a trace of him. " and warps back into her present time. She restores him to his youthful self to match her, makes him into a Q as well, and instantly gives him all the knowledge she has, and they live together as a happy Q couple from then on.
After that it goes into an epilogue ending thing. I can't remember exactly how I put it, but is was something like this: ( Nemesis narrating ) Space, the final frontier... Full of wonderous things that no race will fully explore in an infinite number of lifetimes, unless you're me. These are the voyages of many worlds and races as they explore the vastness of space, to encounter all the marvels it has to offer.

Eh, I'm not into the "god" things. Q has been the one exception I've found, mind you.
I think the "god" things just threaten my own status, hence my hostility.

" I am R. Our race is alphabetically superior to the Q. Their powers are nothing when compared to our own. All life in the universe will cease to exist if you continue to annoy me! " - Gag line in a Trek comedy.
The Q are weird. There's Q, Q, Q, Q, Q, Q, Q, Q, Q, Q, * lists an unknown number * and finally Q. It's weird that they're all called Q as a name rather than an individual name.
The one cool " episode " I made, according to a friend, was where Nemesis and crew encounter a giant blob creature. ( Mimics the Crystaline Entity ) Nemesis forsees their own destruction at the hands of it and does everything to prevent it coming true. When they encounter it, her attempt at changing fate doesn't work, and the energy from the phasers they fire into it mutate with other energy particles and the blob creature blasts the ship into oblivion. Obviously, that ain't the end. The blast causes a dimensional rift and the ship ends up safe and sound, having been sent into a pocket dimension for the blast, thus being safe from destruction. When it's over, the blob creature talks to them saying it lost control when it was fired on, because it's from a race of beings who absorb and mutate energy, and the specific results of phaser fire cause them to go nuts.
