Oassu raised an eyebrow "Do they? Well I'll be watching to see you prancing little guy but yeah I probably will stick out, hardly know any of your regional dances, might be a good idea to teach me some at some point, little worried I'll make a fool of myself tonight" he said

Gil smiled admiring Satoshi as he idly stroked her back under the water "Sure these feel quite relaxing though I preferred the Jacuzzi from earlier to be honest but no Enkidu quite likes a nap when he can get it especially in temperatures like these" he said pointing out Enkidu still dozing under the table.

Jeckhart grimaced not entirely sure if they should be disturbing Zadina but the door opened quietly as the butler from earlier peeked out "Erm...hello sirs and madams, his lordship is rather busy with paperwork right now is there anything I can get you?" he asked

"Let them in Tremley, the paperwork can wait for later" Zadina sighed hopping down off a chair behind a huge desk at the far end of the study. On either side of the room huge shelves with books and files covered the walls with the occasional painting filling the gaps. "Hi everyone, please come in I hope you all like your rooms" he said bright waving them in as Tremley stepped aside.

Itaka sighed finishing his drink in the kitchen while he looked at the clock wondering where Seph was "Hey Seph you ok up there? Come on down and we'll discuss some dinner" he called upstairs to the bedroom and shower.

Felina stopped a moment listening to the sounds of the streets "Ok dear, sounds like the carriages are arriving early so I am taking you on a little detour through the viera district to get to the main music area. I didn't think I told you we had an area for our fellow forest dwellers" she added giving his hand a tight squeeze trying hard not to giggle at a small group of elves dancing around them both in dragon costumes. "As for the dancing, if we have time when we get back I'll show you a few moves but otherwise I'll be slower and take the lead when we have to dance together. How does that sound?"

Satoshi let out a small content sigh "Well cant blame him. Feels great to lie around on a lovely day like this though he's going to miss the left overs being put out for him and the dogs if he stays there for too long. We could always have a jacuzzi as well but I prefer having the space of a pool and being able to go underwater. I think you would go crazy here in the rain season when half the village is only accessible by swimming or paying a small fortune for a boat. It's good exercise though"

Seph paused "Well as much as I like turkey and all, I think something lighter would be ideal. Had enough poultry for one day. Plus I am not overly picky about food as you may have noticed. How were the chocobos by the way? All happy running around and fed?" she asked helping herself to some milk out the fridge.

Hebal snickered "Well apparently Alpha can speak elvish, it's how we find you so all the more reason to make him do work for a change" she joked opening one of the book hoping for some pictures. "The rooms are really nice. And most of them are my sort of thing, one or two aren't but that doesn't mean they aren't nice" she told him avoiding mentioning her feelings about his mothers room.

Alpha groaned "Stop trying to get me to do paperwork. That's not a job I am in any hurry to go back to and I do plenty of work flying about. But yes lets get to the city itself as soon as possible so we have time to look around and enjoy ourselves" he agreed.

Amane turned her head peeking at the runes on the covers of the books "Your writing system looks really pretty with all those fancy symbols though it looks so complicated" she smiled petting Merric. "Yes lets go into the festival itself. Nobody should be doing paperwork and boring official things on the dragon festival. Even all the other nobles are out to party right now"

Oassu raised an eyebrow "Really? I'd expect if they'd spent their entire lives in your city and adopted your customs you'd think they wouldn't care about the standard Viera practice of separate gender communities, bet they all have elvish as a first language too" he sighed feeling somewhat out of place "Still I wonder how many elves are still sore at the dwarves, the peace was only struck earlier this year after all" he mused.

Gil nodded returning the squeeze and giving Satoshi a light kiss on the cheek as she floated on his shoulder "Eh it's not something I'm especially interested in getting over, it's not all that difficult to avoid deep water" he said groaning "Though the amount of times I've had to walk for miles to ford a stream would certainly make it better, usually I just use a float spell to get me through" he whispered.

Itaka nodded playing idly with Seph's tail poking out through the towel as she drank "Well sure, Irelia almost injured Boris in her frantic burst for the food but they should all be down for the night" he said stroking Seph's wings while she peeked in the fridge "Anything catch your fancy?" he asked.

Zadina nodded "It is somewhat complex, which is why it takes close to 60 years to learn, if you want to master ancient elvish it's more like 100 and then about 400 years if you want to learn to talk to trees" he giggled pointing out some of the runes "It's even worse than that as Elvish runes are divided into common and noble, with the symbols being slightly different" he said sighing "Translators into elvish are pretty valued for that reason," he said watching Merric kweh happily offering Amane a small gold Gil he'd found on the floor. "Still you are quite right Amane" he said clapping his hands as Tremley fell in beside him "Yes Sir?" the butler enquired.

"Please let the driver and the men know we will be leaving momentarily though they should already be prepared if they followed my earlier instructions" he said with a sigh as he went back over to the desk to tidy the remaining papers away into drawers while the butler bowed acknowledgement before turning away to go inform the staff. "Is everyone ready to go?" he asked pointing a finger at a book Hebal had plucked from the shelf to levitate it back into it's place.

Felina paused shuffling closer while she lead Oassu down and across more streets, winding through enough to confuse anyone unfamiliar with the city layout "Lots of elves still dislike dwarves. Thousands of years of bad blood doesn't go away within one peace treaty when the average lifespan of an elf is over 2000 years. A lot of us will still have many memories of fighting them. But you are right, many of the viera have elvish as their first language but unlike in forests they are less strict about the communities and both genders mix together and go back and forth between areas all the time. Bet they are hating the snow right now though"

Satoshi groaned rolling off her back so she was standing up in the pool "Well I would rather we don't have to walk miles In the wrong direction to find shallower water if I ever go exploring with you. Besides its not like the great Gil to turn down a good old fashioned challenge for the sake of a pretty girl right" she teased rubbing noses with him.

Seph couldn't help but snicker a little opening the bag "Sounds like I need to give you basic cooking lessons. Pasta is really easy to do, all you have to do is boil it and heat up some source and grate me a nice bit of cheese to go on top and maybe fry the turkey. That can be your responsibility and I'll do the rest" she decided handing Itaka the chopping board "So what do you normally eat when living here? Your cupboards aren't exactly well stocked. And give Boris a nice treat every now and then, all work and no play makes a grumpy pet."

Hebal gasped just managing to catch a glimpse of Mu jumping down from the light above the main hall upon their arrival "You probably shouldn't swing on that silly, you're lucky you weren't in big trouble. Though it did look incredibly fun" she whispered to her with a giggle.

Mu shrugged ignoring the looks of horror from one of the servants clearly not familiar with Agralian "Well I didn't know where you went when I tried to follow you so had a look around and then that looked so fun to play on while I waited for you to reappear" she explained cheerfully standing next to Alpha.

Alpha mean while rolled his eyes disapprovingly "Do that in the palace and they will probably shoot you down thinking your some kind of thief/spy/assassin. But we're leaving now anyway" he told her with a small headshake.

Amane scratched her ears not having seen what Mu had been doing while they were with Zadina "I guess one or two of them might have information but I can see It being a waste of time trying to get answers out of all of them. Must be really weird going in and out of forests for the noise levels though. And you should give Merric a cuddle too" she encouraged pulling Zadina into a group hug with the three of them.

Oassu nodded "Yeah though she might have seen here on one of her previous times in the city, would probably be very happy to see other of her kind...unless they only speak elvish in which case I imagine she'd be a bit left out" he said linking arms with Felina "So what is this just a living area for the Viera or do they do anything else here?" he asked waving to a couple of Viera who were looking at them curiously and muttering in elvish.

Gil shrugged "I'm ok with boats, and sure but my armour makes it too heavy for me to swim in which is the main reason I give it a miss, still not an especial fan of it" he said cringing slightly as Satoshi splashed him. Chuckling as he splashed her back "Hey now cut that out, you cheeky ninja trying to relax here"

Itaka nodded taking out the turkey "Normally I eat pretty well here, some of the finer things really, hire a cook to do stuff like that, which is why this place is more of a getaway from time to time, bit of luxury and all" he said yawning as he moved it to the chopping board and grabbed a knife before getting to work. "Boris doesn't really like toys anyway, he's past the age where chocobo's are playful" he said

Zadina frowned slightly as one of the servants ran over having seen Mu swing to desperately report in elvish her activities. After a solemn response the maid retreated towards the kitchens while others emerged with the party's coats also taking the opportunity to remove their glasses for their drinks. Tremley himself brought forward an even more regal blue and purple cloak for Zadina to wear with gold lining and the Loweena crest emblazoned on the back "Well Miss Mu please don't do that to things in my house, I know you are a talented acrobat but the house is quite old and I'd probably get in a lot of trouble if anything broke, plus Cap'n Alpha is right, you'd probably be kicked out of the palace for doing that this evening" he warned her slightly before Amane pulled him into a hug "Oh...,uh...hehe thanks Amane but yeah he deserves it" he said as Merric kweh'd happily between them "Though forests can be helpful because what with all the standing around they do, they'll mostly just gossip all day and so one tree will likely know the goings on of all the trees so to speak but it's not like they are overly noisy, you have to actively listen to try and hear them" he said petting her ears as he broke the hug before stepping towards the doors where the maids opened them for him as they stepped out onto the marble pathway again.

Felina shuffled around uncomfortably listening to some of the mumblings "I think they are already suspecting me as royalty already. Some are saying that I look and sound familiar" she whispered smiling at those who passed them under the large sign. "Well it's mostly for living quarters and shops that are specifically aimed at viera. Like walking shoes and fur care prodicts and the latest viera fashions and earmuffs and foods. Though I must say I do like a lot of their clothes even if I probably don't have the figure to pull them off" she added immediately stopping to take a look in one highly decorated window display.

Satoshi stuck her tongue out splashing Gil one more time before swimming further out into the pool to avoid a counter attack "Ha nothing wrong with a little playtime when relaxing. Though you are covering airship costs if we go travelling together then. as much as I quite like being able to walk across water and teleport. Theres only so far I can travel doing either" she smiled pulling herself up out the water. "Just don't travel when storms are forecast and sailing is generally quite relaxing you know" she added walking back to Gil across the surface of the water with a little help from a few hand signs moments before.
