Oassu gasped leaning in close to Felina to whisper "The Klossovskys are here?! Visiting Hayate? Do the guards know?" he asked quickly moving away from the dancing chocobo to a quieter area "We should warn them if that's the case" he said with more than a hint of worry.
Gil smiled patting Satoshi on the back "Well congratulations to you then, thats certainly not bad though I don't know how much you've picked up, they've hardly talked in elvish much while I've been there" he said.
Tremley paused for a moment looking slightly ashamed "Begging your pardons ma'am but I'm not entirely sure what a 'milkshake' is, is it some form of curdled milk?" he asked thinking it sounded positively disgusting.
Zadina blniked not really having thought there was anything funny about his ancestor before before smiling slightly in agreement before beckoning Tremley over to explain what a milkshake was.
Tremley nodded understanding "Ah! Yes...well I'm sure we can arrange some way for that to be made" he said "The chef will enjoy the challenge I'm sure" he said bowing deeply before clapping his hands briefly as handmaidens emerged from the top of the stair well rushing forward to take people's bags bowing deeply to everyone before taking their bags.
Zadina nodded "Yes Cap'n we'll sort you out with rooms soon, these handmaidens will assist you with anything you need whilst you are here and will help you to your rooms" he said sighing slightly "I'm sorry Amane I'm going to need to tend to some business here first but you'll have a nice room with your mother so you don't need to worry" he said sadly.
Tremley nodded in agreement "Yes the maids will assist you with anything you need and the drinks will be delivered to your room" he said bowing as he took his place by Zadina another maid arrived and a few words were exchanged in elvish before she disappeared again into the left wing.
Jeckhart frowned "Perhaps, I wouldn't really be so comfortable knowing how many eyes there are hidden around this household" he said giving the maid at his side an awkward look not quite comfortable with servants.
Itaka nodded grabbing a pair of gloves from a box by the house door and tossing them to Seph as he donned a pair of his own "And sure I can understand wanting a shower it's hardly the job I'm doing all the time" he said hauling a large bag of greens out of the corner before a large "Kweeh" echoed through the stables as Irelia ran back in from outside and headbutted Itaka trying to get at the food "Wh-Gah! Get back Irelia, Seph get this damn girl back outside and shut the door" he said trying to hold Irelia back with one hand as she kwehed happily at Itaka for the food.

Seph hesitated a second before bursting out into laughter "Haha I think your pet here has a few things in common with myself when it comes to food" she joked standing between Itaka and Irelia "Hey girl, see this? Go fetch" she smiled at the bird throwing a handful of greens far enough away for the bird to chase after them with enough time to shut the door. "There we go easy enough. Bet your glad I have better self control"
Amane rubbed her ear slightly confused "Oh you are leaving us for the time being? Umm ok I guess you have loads of catching up to do. Though good luck with making that milkshake sir" she bowed to Tremley then followed the directions of the maids wanting to know where they were taking her bag.
Hebal tilted her head puzzled as to where they were going "WellIm going to guess the servants will leave us alone in our bedrooms so maybe you will feel a little better when we go there. And if not I'm sure I could make it fun upstairs so you can forget your discomfort" she offered.
Alpha on the other hand grinned watching the staff offer to carry Mus things for her "Man I could get used to treatment like this. Perhaps I should invest some of those diamonds I got into a nice retirement house for myself."
"Are you kidding, you would go crazy after a few weeks unless all your servants just so happened to be viera and willing to put up with some of your bad habits and incredibly loud snoring" Mu teasingly whispered back giving him a nudge in the arm as she overtook him.

Felina laughed quietly pulling Oassu into a hug while he leaned towards her "Oh no dear please do not fear. Allow me to explain further for we are in no trouble. When I meant his family... well when he was about, perhaps about the equivalent of 14 he was adopted into another family in Yithra. Very nice people. His adopted father is the sage who runs the mage academy and his wife is a priestess in the temple. Couldn't have had a better teen upbringing" she assured him patting his shoulder.
Satoshi shook her head "Oh you're right, the elves have been polite enough to talk in Agralian in our presence but on occasion I have heard them talk to each other in private in their own language which I suppose is fair enough. Plus one time when I was training at night I happened to overhear a pretty hilarious conversation with Hayate trying to teach Alpha some elvish. Alpha certainly knew how to make such a flowery language sound rough and ugly" she snickered almost sighing as she caught the scent of the dessert brought over by her mother and clones.
"Here you go everyone. Help yourself to whichever bowl you fancy" Yuki grinned dismissing the two clones once all the bowls had been carried. "Hey Aelo... go shoo over there" she added to her pet throwing a bone from her back pocket across the garden for the dog to chase after "Even from the kitchen it couldn't have been more obvious she was trying to stalk Enkidu for food pinching"

Oassu sighed with relief "Good thing too, well he certainly got in well with the a good family then," he said "Woulda been quite a cause for concern if his other family had came calling" he grunted hopping down a step towards the Dragon Festival stalls "Still fear aside lets check out this place looks quite nice" he said enjoying some of the pleasant smells.
Gil shrugged "Ugly or not if Alpha can speak it all the better for him, guess those two had to find someway to pass the time at night" he said pulling a bowl over to himself "I don't think Enkidu is especially bothered by Aelo anymore, at least not enough to scare her away" he chuckled
Itaka grunted rubbing his arm where Irelia had pecked it "Sure whatever, she's getting less food for that, already stole some morsels getting her away" he grumbled going around to fill the food buckets in the stables before adding some water. "Well does anything need mucked out Seph?" he asked going to peek out the barn door at the others and frowning seeing Irelia peering back in at the barn eagerly.
The Maids spoke quietly in elvish smiling knowing at Amane before stopping in front of a large double door. Opening the door led onto a huge room draped in purples and reds with two four poster beds with golden posts and deep purple drapes on either side of the room. "These are for you and your daughter milady" one of the maids said bowing to Hebal before placing the bags down gently by the beds "My name is Anati and this is Zera," she said indicating the other maid placing Amane's bags down.
Outside the other maids gestured for Alpha and the others to keep following to their rooms.
Once the others were gone Anati continued "Unfortunately Zera does not speak much Agralian, our apologies but we have been assigned to wait on your every need and make your stay as comfortable as possible while you are here," she said as the both bowed "Zera is a qualified beautician so if you desire any special treatments before the ball later on do not hesitate to ask me" she continued causing the smaller maid to blush. Anati crossed the room in stiff strides to a small rope beside the door "This bell connects straight to the maid quarters, if you should ever need us please pull this to summon us" she said as Zera joined her by the door "Is there any other questions before we leave you to get accustomed to your room?" she asked
Jeckhart sighed moving on having failed to peek at the Viera's room "You only need the simple things in life, not something really as extravagant as this, it's likely the commoners pay for a great deal of this in their taxes" he remarked examining the paintings as they passed.

Alpha shook his head taking a peek inside his room "Nope I think its safe to say from all of us everything is satisfactory" he assured them smiling at the size of his room. "The simple things in life are good sure but why not have a little more luxury should it present itself towards you. Gotta also love the finer things in life" he chuckled going inside.
Mu snickered "Oh no make up in the world could make that old man look any prettier for the ball but thanks for offering to help. We'll just ring the bell if someone needs us... oh and hi Hebal, didn't want to explore your new room much?" she added seeing moments later their companion hopping down the hall after them.
Hebal shrugged skipping the rest of the way "Hey again, I already seen my room and Amane is just settling in so I figured I would come and sneak a peak at what your rooms looked like if you don't mind that is" she sung.
Seph paused glancing around checking out each chocobo stable "Not many today except one. Man whichever chocobo was staying in the far left really made their place stink" she remarked snickering at Irelia's behaviour "God luck to boris keeping her in check, she looks hungry enough to outrun Chobi right now.

Felina nodded taking hold of Oassu's hand allowing him to lead her away "Yes well considering his half sister has one of the highest bounties on her head in the world, I think its safe to say that if she would receive a lot of arrows in her back the moment she showed herself in public in the middle of Yithra. "Oh I forgot to mention, theres a lot of free food stalls at the dragon festival and considering theres still a good few homeless people still from that battle, there will be more than there usually is I am certain. Surprised Adohand isn't setting one up this year but I'm sure he has his reasons"
Yuki laughed as Ikara made a comment to her about his pet "He just told me to warn you not to give her any leftovers or she will be following you around until you leave. She's a good ninja hound, just greedy and doesn't like sharing food with others"
Satoshi snickered "It's true but yes I have heard the pair of them do all kinds of things to pass the time when everyone else is asleep though cant see myself joining them anytime soon. I hate airship travel so sleep is the best way to take my mind off it. I certainly wouldn't miss it"

Oassu nodded "he's probably just too busy spending time with Hayate, I imagine they are both so busy it's not that often they get to enjoy a dragon festival together" he said smirking "So were you running about hiding under the stalls as a kid?" he asked
Gil looked behind him at Aelo "Well sure though chocolate makes dogs sick anyway" he said eating some of his pudding "I think you've definitely gotten better at airship travel" Gil said smirking thinking it was funny how she could be fascinated by airships and get so sick at the same time.
Anati and Zera glanced at each other surprised as Hebal hopped between them out of the room "Err well if there's anything you need please don't hesitate to ring, our Lord hopes you have a happy stay here little miss" they told Amane as they backed out of the room.
Elsewhere the maids stopped at another room where one disappeared inside with Mu's bag "This is Lady Tethys' old room, so please do not disturb any of the decor or ornaments" the maid told Mu indicating the fireplace and the curious artifacts lining the shelves and mantleplace. The maid shuffled uncomfortable "Some of the objects may be demonic in nature, we have been forbidden from touching them, that is the one condition on this room I'm afraid she told Mu. The rest of the room was a relatively dark affair with a large demonic looking chandelier with odd spires and candles at odd angles. The four poster bed was also shrouded in deep black and the wind whistling through the empty fireplace gave the room a rather haunted feeling. The maid frowned going over to start a fireplace "Apologies, this fireplace seems somewhat faulty, it keeps going out for some reason, this room can get quite cold otherwise" she said bowing once more "My name is Tippi and I am to be your handmaiden during your stay, is there anything I can help you with ma'am?" she asked while the others outside were moved along.
Jeckhart frowned "Some of those artifacts seemed somewhat grim...don't you think Alpha?" he said causing the remaining two maids to look somewhat awkwardly at each other.
Itaka grunted "Yeah that's Goco's place he has a bit of a bad digestive system I think but he's spirited, he and Chobi are good friends, since he's one of the few good enough to race with her at times" he said tidying stuff away "Right are we ready to let them back in now?" he asked.

Mu raised her eyebrow glancing at the fireplace "And you said there wouldn't be anything spooky about this place. Told you it could be creepy. Still if your going to shove someone in a haunted room full of demonic artefacts. Safer to put a demon in with them than anyone else and then can cross demonic possession off the list of things to worry about" she laughed resisting the urge to change form to give the maids a good scare.
Alpha nodded in agreement with Jeckhart "Yeah just a bit grim, last time I saw a collection of stuff like that it was when I had to stay for a night at some demon lords castle which is something I would rather forget. Surprised they kept all this stuff without researching it first he agreed.
Hebal scratched her head poking her nose around wondering what caused the sudden whispering "Um lady Tethys definitely had a strange taste... this room reminds me of where I grew up" she mumbled before making a sharp retreat back to check on Amane.
Seph held her hand up signalling for Itaka to wait. "Just give me a moment to scrub this place a little more "Bad digestive system is a bit of an understatement. What colour is this one? Another black one since I heard those are also pretty decent runners as well" she asked holding her nose with one hand.

Felina laughed quickly turning away overhearing someone mentioning to their peers they thought they recognised her "That is true, I know that Adohand is pretty happy about spending time with him and having a baby chocobo to look after I bet is hard work too. But no as a kid I spent most festivals either in the palace with all the family or if I was very good dad would take the three of us out to celebrate. At that age I didn't notice the guards tailing behind. Mum took care of all the palace business. Growing up she was able to find time every day to look after us. Dad however being king wasn't so fortunate so it was a big deal for all of us to get some daddy and daughter times"
Satoshi groaned regretting she brought airships up in the heat of the moment "Maybe I have just gotten used to the motions of that airship though another one and I sure as hell wouldn't be happy about it. A part of me kinda misses the good old days of a little walking and camping out under the stars" she sighed cheerfully thinking back to the last time she had done so.

Oassu grinned thinking of the little chocobo "Oh yeah I forgot those two were both so into birds, not seen Wedge in a wee while but sure that sounds pretty cool you getting some time with your dad when he was so busy, imagine it's the case for a lot of nobles and the like" he said examining a table of shiny colourful ceramic shapes.
Gil chuckled "I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunity to still do that, it's not like airships are everywhere and not everywhere is capable of containing an airship gotta walk some places" he said nodding "The pudding is delicious by the way thank you Yuki" he said.
The maid smiled nervously not wanting to comment as she quietly backed out of the room to leave Mu to adjust.
Jeckhart and Alpha's rooms were right beside each other and while pleasant were not as grandiose as the other rooms. "Our lord sends his apologies but we only have regular guest rooms remaining" the remaining maid said going to put the bags into their rooms. Jeckhart frowned awkwardly looking around the room at the painting of Quina Loweena on the wall "Thank you but it's really all too much I'd be happy with a servant's bed if it's no trouble" he said to the maid who gasped and shook her head rapidly "Oh no no no no sir that won't do, my lord says it's the least he could do to repay you for looking after him, he would give you a better room if he could" she said blushing slightly in embarrassment.
Itaka frowned "Perhaps I'll have a vet in to look at him then if it's that bad but he's just a yellow, granted a well bred yellow and with a lot of natural talent, Chobi was specially trained for racing but I reckon if Goco had had the same upbringing he'd be just as good if not better on his feet which is impressive for a standard chocobo." he said nodding approvingly as he watched Seph work.

Seph paused concentrating on cleaning out the last corner "You can probably just get a few pills to help with his digestive system you know or even just a special diet if you can afford the upkeep since that food is often pricy" she advised more than happy to have finished her job. "Right then we're good to go. Might need a quick shower after this. But good on your yellow, Need a good one of those to breed with a black chocobo to make a gold afterall, Ugh the smell should go away soon" she mumbled standing beside him.
Alpha chuckled glacing around the room "Oh this place will do. Even your regular rooms are fancier than anything most of us are used to so don't worry about it" he assured them before turning back to see Jeckhart since he had nothing to put down or even do in his own room. "Think the girls got the best deal here but what do ya say we check up on Hebal? Think something spooked her up a bit in the other room" he suggested unaware that across the halls the two viera were bouncing on the beds to pass time.

Felina happily nodded her head in agreement "Yeah my dad was great considering he was also a king with so much responsibility and even in the demon war he managed to make some time for me. Come to think of it, wasn't until I was much older I knew that half the games he played with me and had Hayate do the same, were more games to prepare me should Yithra be invaded" she recalled examining one of the more brightly coloured ceramics on display. "See anything that interests you? I have seen wedge flying back and forth, I think he's just been delivering mail and going off hunting. Could you imagine Hebal's face if she had to watch Hayate feeding dead rodents to his pets. I can imagine she really wouldn't like it"
Yuudai nodded "Yeah it's pretty good dessert, bring some back next time or better yet. Take me on one of your fancy trips to Mineerin sometime. I heard they are all arty farty but have an interesting country so would be interesting to go sometime"
Satoshi rolled her eyes "I think if anyone us getting invited to that it would be me, Unlike you I like the as you called it "arty farty" things and could perhaps sell a few of my own things over there. Though I can't think of anywhere other than the desert that cant be easily accessed by airship then a short carriage ride."

Oassu shuddered at the thought "Yeah Hebal would freak at the sight of it, then again she's a blue mage as well probably see her fair share of gross things without caring" he said moving on from the ceramics "A few things are quite nice, nothing worth fencing though, handmade stuff like this doesn't sell for much unless it's from someone famous thought" he said "What kind of games did you play back then anyway?" he asked moving on.
Gil shrugged "Windy regions they can't land in, forests don't work, mountains there is no chance too, and some of the snowier areas up north" he said "Just need to go to some of the wilder places or you could always just go camping for the fun of it, no need to take a carriage everywhere" he said.
Itaka chuckled "Well sure, you run off and get that shower and I'll let the chocobos in, then perhaps we'll get started on dinner for us" he said happily stroking Seph's wings and tail.
Jeckhart nodded in agreement following Alpha back to Hebal's room frowning slightly seeing them jumping on the beds "I'm not sure you should be doing that, it would be embarrassing if we broke Lord Zadina's property while we are here" he warned them turning as there was a knock on the door behind him,

Seph paused her wings wiggling slightly in response "Sure, sounds like a good plan, just remember to wash your hands when you come in before you start cooking ok" she playfully reminded him with a kiss on the cheek before making her way to the exit. And I will get you something for your arm, chocobo pecks sting after a while."
Amane giggled "Well we wanted to test how comfy and bouncy the beds were and mum looked a little but glum about something so I suggested she join me. You should try it too if you ever get any lighter.... no offence I don't mean your fat or anything its just we don't weigh much at all and..." she trailed off having only just realised what she had said.
Hebal smiled but came to a sudden halt hearing the door knock "Umm come in" she finally called once Amane had settled. "Just ignore Amane, she's being silly and all the surprise luxry I think is playing with her mind" she joked springing up on the bed. "Ill be ok so long as nobody expects me to go in that creepy demon room"

Felina swallowed hard upon hearing the mention of a possible fencing opportunity "Well everything in this area is like ceramics and pottery if you want to move on to the food section. But you know it was games including how to build a fort, expert hide and seek. Dodge ball... the magic edition to work on evading spells. Lots of little things were done as training. And Hayate taught me survival skills like how to hunt and set up a safe tent should I somehow get separated from everyone or having to escape" she explained picking up the vase she was looking at before then handed over at least double the marked price over to the stallholder. "There, a nice bonus for someone because its the festival. That person will have spent weeks making all of these so seems nice to reward them for the effort"
Satoshi rubbed her chin in thought "Alpha must have a pretty durable airship then because he has managed to land the airship up mountains before but you are right about the forest. Yithra wasn't exactly the easiest place to get into from an airship and gods help us if we got lost in there" she agreed unaware Haru was attempting to listen into their conversation, having taken an interest the moment they mentioned airships.
