On one of my quick surveys of the site, I logged to find I've been invited to the Beta testing for ZOMG. One of 100,000 in this line of testing... who else got invited? I know I can't be the only one.
Notes on Jiyu: I've been doing alright. Life back in my parents' house is not as bad as I would have thought. I'm, indeed happier than I've been in years but am fighting some wicked melancholy. I guess my mind is still working through some details. Just thought I'd fill you guys in on my world as of late. I'll catch you guys later!

Just thought I'd let you guys know BEFORE I become famous, that my band has made it through to the next Heat of my region of Scotlands Battle of the Bands 2008. We actually have our new stuff on our myspace/bebos'. http://www.bebo.com/aggressushttp://www.myspace.com/rgrmdwFirst prize is an 8 hour recording session Dundees' (and Scotlands) most expensive recording studio, which has recorded bands such as Snow Patrol, etc.

Hey, congratulations, Sway! If you do get famous, we all get free signed copies of your first album, right? >.>
Well, congrats, Jiyu. I wasn't chosen for the beta testing, as much as I wish I had been. *sigh* Don't suppose there's any way for you to transfer your selection to me, huh? sweatdrop That is, of course, assuming you won't be using it. ^.^;

And I'm going to be buying my first car soon. Plus most of my free time is now spent in various RPGs, whether playing them or planning for them.

On a different topic, is anyone else here getting ticked off at the obnoxious Circuit City ads that have been showing up on Gaia lately?

I donate at least $2.50 every month to escape the ads. Plus I like Gaia enough to do so.
In ZOMG news: I've yet to be able to log into it stressed So no one's missing anything, trust me! If they ever get the game up to snuff to support all of Gaia I'll be tremendously shocked! confused

The ads go away if you donate? *blink* I guess that's why I only started noticing them recently . . . sweatdrop I used to donate 5, 10, sometimes 20 dollars every month (I've got some weird OCD for even numbers). But with my recent occupational and financial difficulties, I haven't been able to keep it up . . .

As on a same note as Jiyu, I too am a Zomg tester.
I am in it right now, and it's kind of fun.
I'm not dealing with a lot of stuff like Jiyu, but my not being here does have a reason.
I was working full time and going to school full time. I recently just got temp. laid off, and so now I have a little more free time.
