LadiSilverfox I am doing okay. I am tapping my fingers and counting the days until I find out what my parents finally got for me. They asked me to write a list of things I wanted, I could only think of two things (^is a pretty simply person): a gift certificate to my favorite local metaphysical store and money for anime.
However I am really nervous, a lot of people in my life tend to tell me they are going to get me something than I never get it. I already had that happen once today. I like what my friend got me just fine, she put a lot of love and thought into her present but it was just a little disappointing because she made it sound as if she had gotten me something else that I was really looking forward to...
But oh well. neutral right? Ick, that happens to me alot. Eventually I ended up saying, "******** it. Give me ten dollars and I'm good. That or stop saying stuff about what you're getting me." I hope you don't end up terribly disappointed with things, Ladi.

I know, I try really hard not to let it bother me.
But my boyfriend who is best friends with my friends husband, gets together with them once a week to watch Heroes. Which is all fine and good, except I would really like to join them. However I haven't seen the show before and they are in the second season.
So she implied that she was going to buy me the first season so I could be more in the loop (seeing they have the whole second season on a digital recorder)...that way I could actually enjoy it with them.
So it wasn't so much she didn't get me what she implied she would, it is more the feeling of being intentionally left out of something.
I am sure everything else will be okay though blaugh

And Ladi! You're here, and I'm not falling asleep (yet)! mrgreen

heheh Yeah, aretoo cooks... his ex and a mutual friend used to tell him he should cook for a restaurant, but aretoo doesn't want to do it for a *career*. And come up to PDX-town, Silver, and I'd be glad to! ^_^
Tonight is actually pre-made Chicken meal, as aretoo and Kusa were out doing their last-minute shopping (aretoo's been working both jobs up to HERE, and this has been his first day off). After that's out of the oven, I'm putting in some pie pumpkins so I can make some fresh pumpkin pie to take to Kusa's step-mother's tomorrow... ^_^
(If you saw this before the edit, Silver, sorry 'bout that; aretoo's still tired, and apparently his mind's wandering places without him...)

*aretoo blushes* ^_^
By the way, aretoo and Kusa will be a bit sporadic, as they're sharing the laptop in the living room. ^_^
(aretoo's logged in via Safari, and Kusa via Firefox... so we're both on at the same time, technically...) ^_^
As for California being under Oregon? Well... it all depends on the geologic age one is speaking of! wink
