Amane cheered bouncing slightly on the small pillow "Does that mean we will get to see your house before we go to the palace? Though didn't this happen last time you visited the place. All the carriages and stuff? And does everyone always give you a big flashy welcoming like that cause all those guards are a bit creepy cause theyare always watching you"

Hebal shuffled along allowing Jeckhart more room beside her "Last time we just parked wherever we could find ourselves a space and walked in. But we were close enough to not need a carriage" she explained followed by a hand clap for the carriage when it started moving. "Wonder how they keep this thing heated. It's lovely and toasting in here almost enough to make me sleepy"

Seph laughed and nodded her head "Oh yeah, Alpha has always been good with kids and adults too, provided he likes you or course. Though you know I am not sure his uncle would approve when he finds a grown up Zadina chasing off after viera after years under the influence of that old fart along with a few other bad habits"

Oassu scratched his chin a moment before nodding "Perhaps not though some classes might teach that, I bet anyone wanting to work in politics is well acquainted with the nobility and powerful figures in the world." he shrugged "Mineerin citizens are very mindful of nobility and the like they probably would pick you out of a crowd" he said

Gil nodded sitting down and passing out an extra glass of wine to Satoshi while he sipped his own "Well I doubt I'm really much of a celebrity here besides you have your own local heroes anyway" he said helping himself to some chicken quickly seeing how it was rapidly disappearing from the plate.

Zadina nodded "Yes we'll be visiting my house, it would be nice to see the place again and we'll be staying there later on so it would be good to get everyone settled into a room for later on I think" he said his brow furrowing sadly "And unfortunately we couldn't do stuff like this last time because there was a big battle on last time but if the guards bother you I could always send them further away" he suggested adjusting his cloak.

Jeckhart nodded "You may not know this but last time Yithra aerodrome swiftly came under Agralian occupation as they used it to fuel their own fleet so landing there wouldn't have been especially wise." he said gripping the pillows in surprise as the carriage set off and peering out the window.

Itaka grinned "Give the old man some credit, Viera are quite an attractive race to most species could hardly blame the boy if he likes them later on, though unless he wants to go through this whole spectacle again he'll probably just marry some elf to avoid the hassle" he said

Felina placed her heands on her hips waiting for Oassu to catch up with her "I suppose you might be right because Mineerin is a quirky sort of country even by our standards but I have yet to visit that country to have such potential bother. Now hurry up dear so we can see the festival and we're going to need a lot of time to explore" she told him starting to feel the excitement.

"Oh sure we have local heroes and famous ninja but I'm talking about visitors here. Most of the time if theres someone not from our village visiting it's usually just some lost trader or someone who has gone to the extreme lengths or tracking us down for the sake of a job but the latter almost never happens. For a place full of travelling working ninjas, the village itself can be rather boring" Satoshi explained thanking Gil for the wine with a kiss.

Yuudai rolled his eyes along with Ikara having listened to Yuki making a quiet "aww" noise. "There aren't that many local heroes around in villages like this who are still alive . Most tend to become heroes after some sort of sacrifice of life"

Seph snickered "Probably are too rare but we shouldn't rule it out. He's all buddy buddy with Kimino so you never know, maybe one day he can do him a favour and hook him up with a nice angel. Though you know, once upon a time half elf and half demons was a pretty common thing. Probably still more common than people think because a lot of demons prefer an elf form over a human form because it means that they can hang around in the same place for decades longer without someone getting suspicious about lack of aging"

Amane nodded patting Zadina on the head followed by Merric once he was released "Yeah good idea cause if there was a lot of damage you really can't tell just from the aerodrome and by looking out the window. "I really like how all the trees on this path have been lit up with the rainbow glowing lights out there.... oh wait. Those are sprites aren't they" she gasped having to squint to make out the little creatures".

Hebal paused checking out the window "Oh yeah hehe those are just like Ivy only in different colours. I guess they are attracted to all the happy feelings in the area" she randomly guessed thinking it was an odd sight. "You shouldn't be sad though Jeckhart, we were able to get by in battle without your help and it kept you out of harms way not fighting. You missed some really nasty stuff so you should be relieved"

Oassu nodded stretching as he looked away to where Felina pointed "Heh I never thought elves actually pranced around the woods like that, but it is cute sure, is it seasonal dancing?" he asked "Though I'm way better than 20 guards any day though would think you'd be used to the freedom by now having been in all the other towns" he said.

Gil nodded "Sounds grim for most but yes you and Ikara have certainly done well for yourselves" he said finishing his chicken and sipping his wine "I quite enjoy the travelling myself so I doubt I'd quit at 40 even if the moogle king would gladly have me stay in his kingdom forever, half bet at this point he'd use me as a tourist attraction" he joked.

Itaka smirked "Perhaps though I imagine that would be an awful judgemental relationship and the clan might have some strong say though it would certainly make for an impressive story of the elven noble who loved an angel" he said pausing to indicate they should turn past a signpost along the sides of the woods "Still that elf thing makes a little sense but I doubt Zadina would be especially interested in demons though would be a pretty funny if he ended up marrying a fire demon someday after all his time with Alpha" he said.

Zadina nodded "Yes we get a few of them out here, though it's surprising to see so many out at this time normally they hang around the giant flower fields" he said petting Merric who was battling with a small shiny brass ball decoration on a pillow "If the season was right I'd take you there as they can be pretty spectacular" he said "Still must be snow sprites then or something similar" he said smiling at Amane's amazement.

A bemused look fell across Jeckhart's face as he doubted sprites quite worked in the way Hebal was suggesting "I know but the clan has a policy to stay neutral in international politics and wars unless there's extreme circumstances as we have a more important goal than any country plus our numbers aren't really great enough to risk making an enemy of a strong nation" he said.

Felina couldn't help but nod along to music as it started to become more upbeat "Well of course, when better a time to prance around in the woods on the day of the festival dedicated to the great dragon. But with all the travelling its a big deal here because for all the exploring, my hometown has never been adventured by me beyond a few districts of the city, Also if you want to prove yourself better than the guards, you'll have to prove yourself a good dancer. Some of those guards are surprisingly good at that" she playfully teased.

Satoshi's eye's widened slightly "Well to me that sounds like it could be a pretty nice life, sitting around being looked after in a city full of moogles. Maybe you should at least try it before deciding against all retirement plans. Could be a great time and I could show you how to sneak away for privacy if need be"

Yuki laughed collecting up the empty plates "Oh maybe not such a good idea. Even from a young age you always used to chase the moogles every time we took you to a normal town for a holiday and I doubt anything has changed."

Amane giggles "Oh I believe it, I remember little Ivy. She kept turning every ones hair a different colour for fun and that is a little bit tricksy. We don't have sprites in our forest so no pretty glowing lights like that but we do have wisps. Little white glowing spirits that only appear at night but everyone tells me that you should stay away from them because they are mean and try to lead you away from all the safe paths in the forest"

Hebal paused thinking over Jeckhart's answer "If you say so, just so long as inn the end you know when to step in and help out. Demons would be a lot more accepted in todays society if they tried to be more helpful towards non demons" she muttered turning to look out the window. "I wish I could be all pretty and glow like those sprites there. Can't help but feel a little jealous of them" she changed the subject.

Seph kept s tighter hold of Chobi while she continued to jump around in the snow "I do try and avoid them and most of the time it works. But every now and then I seem to pick up some kind of job which involves killing off a few people from the dark association which gets them nosey. Kimino probably just thinks your some ordinary human just like the rest of the world since theres nothing demonic about you at all unless your hiding something your not telling me or some kind of sun your trying to keep hidden. Your arm doesn't count as an answer for that also" she smirked patting Chobi getting her to refocus.
