The disadvantage of being a kumquat. Political espionage is really more reserved for the higher orders of fruits.
Like Tony Stark; the man desperate to clear his name in the charge of attempting to assault his romantic rival-a man he was clearly seen trying to intimidate and arrest just days prior to the attack. *Swirls off Bruce and reconfigures.* About an unrelated case, Christopher Alice Powell's theft of SHIELD property. That was a coincidence, there's limited legal council around here. Anyway, as Bruce said, I caught wind of what I believe was a conspiracy to start a war between the Legion and SHIELD, which would utterly annihilate my people, I'm not too proud to admit that. I surmised that an attempt on my life would be imminent, so I provoked the fight with Luthor early. Hank and I conspired to destroy the lab and burn a cloned body so I could infiltrate Injustice International and turn the focus of their efforts away from the Legion. It worked, mostly.

Clear his name?!? This was all HIS idea to begin with! I had OTHER plans to deal with . . . .
*Lex calms down, glaring at Bruce.* Nice try. If anything happened on Bismoll, however, it happened as a result of Tony Stark's efforts.

Lex Joseph Luthor Clear his name?!? This was all HIS idea to begin with! I had OTHER plans to deal with . . . . *Lex calms down, glaring at Bruce.* Nice try. If anything happened on Bismoll, however, it happened as a result of Tony Stark's efforts.

Querl Dox I was getting there, though first I would have had to trudge through the fact that, rather then coming directly to me with information I was already somewhat aware of, Tony decided to take the more 'interesting' path of a handshake deal with Lex Luthor and an attempt at entrapment.
There was an exploding mansion too, at some point, I believe... There was no "deal" with Luthor, and it's not like I'm about to share information or strategy with the guy who accused me of trying to depower one of your team members with my p***s! scream
