Oassu nodded following Felina's lead and standing up "I'm sure we'll be fine" he said bowing politely before linking arms with Felina "Lead on dear, we will see you late for the big party" he said waving goodbye to the others.
Gil rolled his eyes "I've done the occasional stealth mission before, perhaps not on the scale of a ninja but give me a little credit" he said poking Satoshi with a spare arm "The food is delicious by the way Yuki" he complimented her.
Zadina smiled glancing back at Amane "Your mother is right Amane, they wouldn't want to offend the guests and since this is an aerodrome they often get visitors from other countries and Agralian is an easy language for people some people" he said clutching his cloak in the wind.
Juna glanced back at Alpha "It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to assemble an appropriate carriage and guard, I can postpone it if my lord wishes it but rest assured sir your Airship will be cleaned and refuelled during your stay" he promised the demon as he pushed a few buttons on a keypad opening the way to a lift in the side of the building.
Itaka grinned "Sure I know you'll take care of me" he said leaning down to return the kiss "Still perhaps we'll see about dinner once the chocobos' are settled, frankly this weather will probably have me tired out by the time we get back, just put our feet up and enjoy the presents I guess" he said.

Seph nodded "Yeah sounds good and maybe a fire and perhaps pick up something good from here we can just cook up when we get back since we are going back through the streets anyway. Then perhaps just snuggle up in bed with the hot water bottles to stay warm. I'm sure I can find something in my bag that would make Felina and Satoshi happy gift wise but I'll sort that out tomorrow if need be as I'm not in the mood for a scavenger hunt today"
Amane froze looking at the lift uncertainly "Umm whats this? Why are we all going into a really small room that is clearly a dead end?" she asked further in the confusion of never having seen a lift before.
Hebal giggled leading Amane into the lift by the hand "This is just a but like a moving box that takes you up and down a floor instead of stairs. Can take you further and quicker and it feels kinda fun to use" she explained squeezing into the corner. And I'm glad they speak Agralian because it feels lonely when everyone around you speaks different languages"
Alpha paused but gave Juna a small nod "Thank you for the clean and the refuel. Going to be needing a full tank for where we are planning on going over the next few days and I suppose the snow could be cleared off the top if you have a way of reaching up there" he pondered trying to imagine if it were possible for them to get so high up.

Felina let out a small sigh of relief after having waved back to Corella and made a sharp exit out the main hall "Well I think you handled yourself really well over brunch with my parents. Hope you felt the same" she praised him with a ruffle of the hair "Cid also approves" she added allowing the rabbit to sit on his head.
Satoshi giggled quietly "Well sure but not sneaking into places of such high security like the emperors treasure vault with hundreds of guards all over the place. That's perhaps something for someone more specialised in stealth. Though you could probably just fight your way through with your skills though much more of a hassle"
Yuki grinned playing around with her fish a moment on the plate "Thank you. It's a shame you don't like fish much because its a delicacy in our country when cooked properly. Fish is in case you haven't guessed by all the water, out main food source around here"

Oassu smiled taking care to keep his head still as Cid balanced on his head "Well thanks dear I hope it went ok your mother seemed ok for her pregnancy and all" he said reaching up to pet the bunny "But if they were unhappy at least they hid it kindly" he said.
Gil nodded "You must have as many talented fishermen as you do ninja if it's so commonplace here" he said finishing his wine "Though I'm not one to go picking solo fights with armies for gold so don't get too excited" he teased Satoshi.
Itaka nodded "Sure if you've got some great things already in your little treasure house it'll be fine" he said mounting Annabell again to move out of the crowd "Still come on, you made that all sound so appealing" he chuckled stepping into a wider street off the market.
Zadina nodded "It was unusual for me the first time I saw one, but they are safe Amane don't you worry" he said wanting to reassure her as they funnelled into the lift with the guards remaining outside as Zadina placed himself by Amane in the lift "It feels kinda funny when you go in one of these but it's not so bad" he said happily.
Juna's smile seemed to flicker slightly at the request before resuming his happy expression "We will see what we can do sir" he said to Alpha before pushing the button taking the lift up. The lift opened onto a luxurious looking suite clad in bright red and blue colours of the airline with various spheres and comfortable looking chairs and sofa's scattered across the large room "This is out special guests suite, I apologise it's hardly up to royal standards but you shan't be staying long. On the left over there is a bar for refreshments and the bartender will also arrange for any food you request to be brought from the kitchen" Juna said pointing to the bar as they shuffled out of the lift. "I will go and make the arrangements for your carriage, would you like word sent ahead to the Palace of your arrival my Lord?" he asked Zadina.
Zadina glanced around the room "No no, it will be a pleasant surprise for them I think and this will do nicely thank you" he said as Juna bowed in response before stepping into the elevator again to leave.

Amane sighed opening her eyes for the first time since the lift had bean to move "I think I prefer to take the stairs when given the choice over that scary thing" she mumbled finally letting go of her mother's hand once out the lift. "I don't like that feeling but at least this place looks relaxing enough.
Hebal smiled petting Amane before leading her to a place to sit down "Hey they aren't so bad, you just need to get used to the feeling and if it helps try imagining those times when I jump around with you on my back only in a slightly different position" she cheerfully suggested kissing Amane's ears hoping to make her feel better.
Mu on the otherhand waited until Juna had disappeared before turning to Alpha "You know the guy looked pretty unhappy about the thought of having to clean the roof of the airship later. Could have gone a little easier on the staff" she joked
Alpha shrugged and gave her a nudge "Well may as well take advantage of the service while its there and it's not like they aren't getting paid for it and they should at least be grateful that I cleaned all the bird crap off myself"
Seph laughed steering Chobi around the small crowds "Heh I have been inside my bag a few times, had to tie myself and be lowered down with a rope from the help of a friend but it was definitely a unique experience. 'l will just do a normal rummage tomorrow rather than a full on exploration day tomorrow"

Felina shuffled closer so not to be overheard "Well between you and me I am pretty sure that dad had a few words with her about that. Telling her to back off a little over the season for the sake of keeping things peaceful. So even if it is possibly just temporary I am glad the atmosphere was more relaxed there" she quietly admitted to him.
"Well sure, if you are deemed unsuitable to be a ninja its one of the few solid jobs you can get around here not related to weapons manufacture even if the pay isn't so good. There are better paid jobs but they are much more competitive. Some people get thousands just to come up with ways to make ninja feel less stress for example and we always need regular teachers for those who don't go down the ninja career path" Yuudai explained. "Though you know there is a story about you solo fighting a small army just for a sword that didn't even turn out to be the one you wanted"
Satoshi raised her eyebrow "First time I have heard that story but I cann picture you doing something like that in searching for Excalibur but I bet it is also not a complete version of the story" she guessed slightly curious.

Oassu sighed "Well can't win them all I guess" he said smiling slightly "Well then lets get out of here at least enjoy the city streets, was unusual to get a block of solid gold for a present" he chuckled
Gil blushed slightly "Well it wasn't an ARMY so to speak, might've been a merc company or something like that" he mumbled quietly not wanting to linger on the subject "You know how writers can get, embellishing stories and the like" he said focusing on his good.
Zadina frowned patting Amane's ear "Aww I'm sorry Amane I'll see if we can get the stairs down next time to make it easier" he said examining the room a little while Jeckhart made himself comfortable looking out the large glass window "Still would you like something to eat while you wait Amane?" he asked.
Itaka nodded moving towards the edge of the city "Well perhaps you should think about cleaning out that house, though you should never take me to this place it sounds pretty terrifying" he joked

Seph smirked but shook her head "You do realise to clean out that house it would take at least a day or two just to get through the front door and move around. It's a big job that I would need to hire help for and to oversee the whole time. But look on the bright side, theres nothing in my bag that bites unless you try to read my diary or mail and other things you really shouldn't touch without permission" she assured him.
Amane shook her head forcing a smile at Zadina "Please I don't want any bother and mum is right about having to get used to those. I need to be tough if I am going to be a summoner who travels all over the world" she blushed feeling a little embarrassed she had caused a scene.
Hebal giggled lying down on the couch "You have plenty time for that and nobody expects you to be fearless. Maybe its not a good idea to settle here with more food and drink than we need though because soon we'll get to ride a carriage right the way to the palace. Really hope we get to see more of the pretty horsies pulling the carriages too"
"Don't you guys like have unicorns in your forest" Mu asked taking up the space of an arm chair "Are horses that special in a place where you have those?"
"Maybe not special but the horses come in more colours that white so it is a cool thing" Hebal sung back unphased by the response she got. "Well I think its safe to say we probably have the comfiest of seats in the aerodrome right now"

Felina snorted "I know right I think your expression was pretty funny but it is real gold so you can at least pawn it off for a bunch of gil if need be and have some good spending money for the time being. I wasn't expecting you to get any present if I am honest with you so that's a little progress I think" she optimistically told him taking him in the direction of the front door "You can have your beret back now too" she added before ordering the nearest servants away from polishing the room to fetch their coats for them.
Yuki paused scratching her head "I guess you are right that some writers can exaggerate a little but theres often a lot of truth behind it somewhere. Writers at least are better than some of the reporters and journalists I have had to deal with in the past though. Sometimes they have just had a slow news day and completely made stories up"
"It has probably been passed around a bit too much by word of mouth and got less accurate over people" Satoshi guessed with a shrug while she struggled to chop a particularly difficult part of the fish. "Must be nice having so many people telling heroic stories about yourself"

Oassu nodded "Sure royal presents are always nice though I doubt any fence will be willing to touch royal-stamped gold" he said shrugging "Just need to take it to a bank I suppose" he said asking the servants if they would pick up his beret while getting their coats.
Gil shrugged "I don't get talked about that much and as nice as you'd think it is it paints a pretty big target on your back for any plucky merc or kid wanting to get fame with his sword" he sighed.
Itaka shivered "Lets just hire some people to do it, doesn't really sound like something I'd be interested in doing" he said as they arrived back at the town gates "Well is there anything else you'd like from town, a snack or something for the trip back before we go?" he asked Seph.
Zadina nodded happily "I'm sure you'll be super tough Miss Amane" he said activating the sphere and tuning it into a bunch of seasonal elvish songs as he walked around singing along happily with them "I'm sure there will be nice horses on the carriages, they are more common than chocobos in this part of the world" he said

Seph shuddered shaking her head "Perhaps we could get something to cook later for dinner before we go instead of going hunting or something. Other than that I am good for stuff" she answered brushing her tail down Itaka's back. "Maybe if we just oversee people helping us to clear it out. I wouldn't trust a bunch of strangers to wade their way through that treasure hoard. Would probably make a comfortable fortune selling off some of those things"
Hebal raised her eyebrow catching Zadina singing "You know what that music is? Sounds very cheery for the season and it's kinda catchy" she giggled humming along to the same tune as him.
Amane scratched her head watching the sphere with music "Oh I think I have seen those devices before.. Grandma has some of them in our house but they are really old and don't make sounds as good as that one" she recalled. "She also says that I cant touch it without permission because they break easily" she added listening to Zadina sing with interest.

Felina linked arms with Oassu burying herself into her robes for warmth the closer they got to the entrance "I am sure the bank wouldn't ask questions about you trading in royal stamped gold if the person standing next to you was carrying the royal seal. But I can picture a fence would be in trouble if carrying the wrong sort of gold which is why it is so rare anyone has ever tried to steal any of it" she replieid pulling him into a hug. "So tell me, what do you think to the royalty experience so far?"
"And usually said people end up with a blade in their back for their stupidity of trying to get an easy claim to fame instead of going through hard work and training before making a serious challenge. Ikara's had a few stupid ninja like that over the years" Yuki laughed knowing what happened to the last one that tried to challenge him.
Satoshi shrugged picking out the bones and putting them to one side of her plate "Yes that is true but you're always complaining about how annoying they get interrupting you when just trying to go about your daily business" she pointed out.
"You're not mentioned that often around here Gil it is true. For we are too closed of a community for anyone to really care to find out about stories about you but every now and then you get the odd kid come into class with some story their parents apparently made up about you. Nothing major for you to worry about" Yuudai assured him.

Oassu gasped surprised at the sudden hug placing one hand on his head to stabilize Cid while he put his other around Felina to return the hug "Well sure, I suppose the most valuable things you just can't move underground but got this through legal means so it shouldn't matter" he said happily stroking Felina's hair while the servants returned with their coats mid-hug. Thinking he heard one of the servants mutter "awww" he took the coats thanking the servants as they bowed away handing Felina hers and donning his beret which they also brought "Well it's certainly unsettling having servants like this, could we not have them in our own place? It doesn't sit too well with me even if it is quite luxurious" he said
Gil shrugged "I don't worry about it so much but it's an inconvenience, though I do worry about how I had to drop all my weapons entering the town and my armour" he sighed "So easy to steal or lose or something like that" he said bitterly.
Itaka nodded "Sure if you like though there's food at home I don't think you'd need to worry" he said reaching over to pet Chobi "And sure if you like, perhaps we can just leave it piling up forever" he chuckled "It hasn't filled up yet after all" he said.
Zadina nodded petting a somewhat grumpy Merric in his arms "It's an elven song about the Great Dragon bringing gifts to good elves" he said happily "It's quite pleasant but a shame we only hear them this time of year, but I suppose it only makes sense now" he said
Jeckhart nodded "Many cultures have their own little songs they sing for the Great Dragon, the Gria pretty much sing them as hymns they have so much faith in this festival." he said.

Hebal sat up now Amane had settled and her interest hard awoken "Well yeah of course but it was a really lovely song. I like it more than the type of songs that the gria sing and the nu mou as nice as they are don't sing very nice by viera standards. Hey I have an idea" she suddenly thought. "How about we sing a song Amane and return the favour. you can pick and I'll sort of join in with you" she suggested.
Amane hesitated uncertain "Umm I don't know You know I am not used to singing muh in front of people but ok I guess" she paused struggling for a moment "Well I am not sure of any festival specific songs but I do know dragon ones so here goes.... Dragon young, dragon bold. By my kind I am told,to protect those weak and old. Call me a mighty dragon gold" she sang soon followed by Hebal helping her to finish the song earning them bith a round of applause from a surprised Alpha and Mu.
Seph paused glancing back at the town and then back towards the gate "Well if you are sure we have good food in store for us then no need to go do a little shopping and we can head straight home. Do you get snowstorms often here" she asked not overly concerned. Though going to run out of space in the house... its just that It only needs a few days heavy sorting/cleaning every 50 years or so and the magic around the house means nobody ever thinks to explore it despite being seemingly empty"

Felina laughed swapping her cloak over for her coat "Well sure, its not like we would need all these wherever we lived but we should at least have one or two cleaners I think. Large houses would take us forever to keep looking good without them. Surprised you don't like them though, most people from you... social status that I have met always found it a nice prospect" she confessed once waved away the servants with a thank you.
Satoshi smiled rubbing her leg against Gil's under the table "Heh are you still sore about having your weapons being put on hold. Don't worry, they will be kept safe as long as you pose no threat to the village and will be returned soon enough and probably even given a good polish too since the guy who runs that place is a sword fanatic"
"We have too many threats from the emperor and other villages and sometimes even soldiers from our neighbouring country that are feeling overly bold. Couldn't just let a bunch of complete strangers you don't know stroll into the village fully armed claiming they are just here because they are my fan or something. Though that's only happened once so far" Yuuki chuckled "Anyway would anyone like seconds?"
