[R]ed Sauvie [R]ed Sauvie [R]ed Sauvie you got me, Falcon is the fastest with Fox being tied for second with Shiek no....FOX IS, and i know because me and "G.U.Y.V.E.R" are playing it right now. and fox is faster than falcon terds A) you're wrong, he is second B) He starts up faster than Falcon C) Fox is too fast for his own good... aka unfair i hate people like you who say he is unfair based around speed. thats what fox is based around for a reason, because his attacks dont do shiz, the reason his attacks hurt so much is the fact that he can rack up damage , as well as other players on the feild helping out with the damage process. and how is he unfair when anyone can touch him? evil scream I hate people like you who wont admit what they know to be true Fox's Blaster is rediculously cheap it never stops and has no knocback it is CHEAP I hate the reflector all around if it was a reflector fine, but it is also a semi spike that can be used to build up damage freaking fast he has three freaking means of recovery if you count that the reflector slows him down in the air where you can still go towards the stage the fox illusion has him returning to the stage with no chance of interception where everyone else in the games recovery is breakable and lastly his goddam fire fox can go in 16 different directions, it sends fox incredibly far and you cant touch him because there is like an invisible surrounding of flames that burn on contact. He has more finishers than everyone in the game, he has about 6 reliable finishers, and that up smash is the second strongest of that kind, and strongest for knockback. So before you tell me you hate people like me again, learn your facts, he is overused by pros, he is not well made in the least and overall has no balance towards the rest of the game. Also Make up your damn mind, through this thread you have had like 4 favourite characters you seriously need to calm down about the fact that no one can touch him. Ive died so many times by link and among alot of other characters while doing my fire fox, light dash, and relector. Besides its a ******** game, and no i never said i had 4 favorite so stfu and stop putting words in my mouth because i may have 4 characters that i like as my own, and that im good with, but fox is my best and its not going to change sorry if you hate it of not confused im done bitching here. cause i seriously know someone is about to butt in and say stfu to the both of us, and then pick out both of are flaws and i for one am already pissed off enough. so in terms you think what you think, and ill think what i think END OF OUR FUEDFine we agree to disagree End of Fued indeed

Masamune 5.0 Fox isn't cheap. No character is cheap. Each one has at least one other character that is efficient against them. That's why I have three main characters: Young Link, Fox, and Marth. Beat anyone with Bowser, Pichu, or Mewtwo. Then beat the same people with Fox and Marth, or Falco. There's no denying that some characters are much better than others in most situations. Fox just happens to be a step above the rest of the characters in almost all situations (assuming you know how to use him).

I hope they tweak the characters so that there really aren't tiers. And if there are, I hope they tweak them with WiiConnect24 to even the tiers out.

DOA 4 is decently balanced,

But then they'd have to use the memory on your Wii's flash to save the updates. There's only 512 MB to begin with. You can't stretch very far with that. For any kind of updates to be available, The Wii will need a hard drive, or at least more memory.

Well fighting games are tricky, all of them have a cheap/unfair/unbalanced (Take your pick) fighter, and there are issues with them.
Bad Example in Naruto Ultamate ninja Haku is able to beat anyone with essentially just one attack because of his unbalanced stats
Same for Raven in Tekken 5 but you need more skill with him at least
All about balancing and it is hard to make it completely balanced

Never played Tekken 5, or Ultimate Ninja, though.

No, but to fix all the glitches, and balance issues would take a huge amount of memory, assuming there are as many glitches as Melee had.
