ipod: I have never heard of such a problem with an ipod. Is his ipod a new one or an older one? The new ones have less problems than the older ones I guess. Lots of people have the shuffle and the nano like I do, so my knowledge of the regular ipods is only what I have heard. redface
Creative modles? Never heard of them.

My sister got the 80G Video iPod for christmas and had nothing but trouble with it 'til the point the computer told her that the iPod itself was corrupted. So she brought it in and got it exchanged. The guy said it happens to maybe 1 in 20. I think that's a pretty high ratio. . . sweatdrop
I dunno, iPods are neat I guess, but everyone has one, you know? I've been looking at a Sony model for a while now. Either that or just get an MP3 phone.

Annalixa But maybe your brother just doesn't know what the heck he's doing. Entirely Possible. He got it for christmas last year so it wasn't old. I dunno. Like I said, I didn't mess with it

I used my gift certificates today and got 2 Ology books. Egypt-ology and Dragon-ology. I can't wait to read them! Anyone else like or have read the ology books? I have the Wizard-ology and got the Pirate-ology one as a present from my 'rents. smile
Oh and I got the 'how to be a princess' book, it is cute, fluffy and fun to read. It doesn't have quite as much surprises as the Ology books but it is a fun read and pretty to look at.

I never send money on a book that is less than 250 pages. If it is, its not worth the money to me, due to the pace I read at. xd

SilverMist: I read fast too. smile But it takes me a day to enjoy each of these Ology books and I consider them collectors items that I look at again and again. biggrin I like to collect some manga too. I love the stories an art of the ones by Clamp. smile

I need to STOP!! buying books. It is a compulsion with me. I still have books I bought three or four years ago that I haven't read yet. And Creative brand MP3 players: http://www.creative.com/My little brother has the Zen model, I borrowed it for a trip to Canada and I liked it. The controls took a little to get used to, but otherwise it seemed pretty solid.

Never heard of them. i just got a new battery in mine, works great. Not one from apple any old mp3 battery for a player should work.

Hey, everyone .... it's been awhile since I poked my head in .... my Internet was down for awhile, and Christmas/New Years sucked ...
My mother-in-law had a major stroke on Christmas Eve morning, so we drove 5 hours to Ontario on Xmas Day and spent the next four days living in a hospital. She passed away on the Friday, and the funeral was on New Years Day, so no party ...
On the plus side, I got to participate in a Traditional Native Burial ceremony (Ojibwe) ... fascinating !!

I love the new donation items, how many wings can a girl have on her head lol.
My new years rocked i went down back home to New Orleans, went to the french quarter. Staid with some family friends in a swank hotel had all the works. Man it was awsome.

New items: I loved Athena and Minverva, and still do. Though Bridgit is my Goddess I think she is close to Athena and Minerva in some ways. So I do love the Athena items a lot. biggrin heart Though right now I am in a Firey Goddess of War theme right now. I always loved how Athena was the strongest. smile Gods and Goddess would make a COOL Ology book. *hee*
Advil Sinus and Cold: VERY good and well worth the trouble to get it from the pharmacy counter. It works great and actually helps my congestion rather than just kill the pain and do nothing else. I recommend it to everyone who can take it. 3nodding

Emeraude: I've seen those Ology books but haven't gotten any yet. They're really neat.
I love these new collectible items! They're really pretty. Kinda wish I could get more envelopes to really play around, but I'm happy with what I've got. 3nodding
