I haven't had problems with girls lately. In fact, the girl i hate in my gym class told me i looked like a model today. Today was a weird day.
HOWEVER, his ex girlfriend has even approached me about the subject and said she isn't upset at me for this ordeal, and that she doesn't feel any less about me, which is nice considering I really didn't want to lose her friendship. She even apologized for something one of the mean girls said to me. (:
Anyway, the other girls still can't get over it, and its really starting to get on my nerves. Even one girl, who I thought was way above that sort of thing, won't even talk to me.
I'd talk to them and tell them to ******** the hell off, but that would just make things worse, I'm pretty sure.
But, at least in the end, they're people that I can live without being friends with if they're being shitheads like that. (:
And I think she told you that because you're so pretty! You crazy model girl. Teehee. (:

Why do girls always think that just because your friend dated this guy means you can't?
He's familiar to you. I'm sure he's even hung out with you guys a couple of times. So wtf would it seem so "illogical" to date him afterwards?
I mean, she's over the relationship anyway. She could probably care less who he dates, honestly.
(Sorry, I forgot how much some girls DO care who their exs date after them even though they try not to show it...)
It's not against the "girl codes" or anything to date your friend's ex-boyfriend unless it's a day or two after and she's not cool with it at all. And I'm pretty sure you waited more than that anyway, so.. =[
Besides, they probably do the same thing all the time. Stupid little girls. rolleyes

Sometimes it is a matter of territoriality which is understandably foolish. However there is also the loyalty factor. It can be very awkward to have your ex remain inserted into your life after a break up because they're now dating a friend. You can get the impression that maybe something was going on with them before you and they were separated if you've got that angle of concern especially if you knew the person was unfaithful. It's generally just disrespectful of your friends feelings to date their recent ex without discussing it with them first.

Gawthy, I was in basically the same situation as you this summer with my current boyfriend. Except with me, the friend wasn't much of a friend. (The way she acted was like we were best friends rolleyes ). Her and just about all of our group of friends pretty much shunned me and talked a ration of s**t about me. It sucked and wasn't fun. I was called pretty much anything derrogitory towards a female behind my back or to my boyfriend simply because I started dating him. But you know what? It ended. I stayed away from those thriving on the negativity. It helped me figure out who was really my friend and who was not.
