I have bullet cutting/blocking, spontaneous body spikes to prevent grappling, and an anti-magic field so that I can just sword all day. Because this is strictly a competition it would be stupid not to take every advantage.

Unless you are wielding a buster sword or having the force (so one must have a lightsaber in this case), blocking bullets can't really happen with a katana.
