(oh ok. Maybe they can warn her of Revenants revival or tell her where or what she needs to do to either stop it or beat him. Heck maybe they can give her some form of gifts, having had them made a long time ago knowing a crystal child would be born. Ooo, that gets me thinking, maybe when they appear to her they're not in their human forms but rather their holy beast forms. This for could be more complex than the form the destroyers took since they're the real deal, they could even have decorations or something, maybe a common theme between them.))
Nina nodded and smiled to Eloquin. "Thank you for the help,I'll be back as soon as I can." Nina said before she started to climb the stairs. As she went up her hair started to stand up and friz, the amount of electricity in the air building as she climbed. As she reached the top she carefully peaked around, making sure no one was there waiting for her.
((I'm on a very video game thought track right now, shall we have a boss type entity waiting for her? Maybe the source of all the electricity?))

(((Working on all of it.))) Eloquin nodded her head. She figured by Nina's word that she was not to follow behind. Elric would had followed Nina, but a force would not permit him to even head up the steps with her. He didn't like that she was on her own on this one, but he'd have to accept it. While Nina was on the alter however, the winds and lighting intensified all around her. In the center crashed down a large yellow thunderbolt and the sound of a bird's caw appeared Quintu's fabled guardian, the thunderbird. It's wingspan made it three times large than the alter she stood upon. Unlike the destroyer modeled after it, there was no crystal embedded in it's chest. Around it's neck was a necklace adorn in all kinds of precious metals, the pendant had it's center gem missing, but it was very clear that the world ring belonged to it. "State. Thy. Name. Child, of the Crystal..." It said in an indistinguishable language. It was ancient Quintu language. Though no longer spoken, it gave Nina the knowledge to understand it.

Nina stepped back and covered her face when the lightning struck. She slowly peeked from her arms and gasped as she saw the thunder bird. Letting her arms fall back down she heard the bird speak. It spoke in a language she both didn't understand but did. "My name is Nina Lorene Irrigan." Nina stated loudly, hoping some part of her name would keep her from being eaten.

"Nina Lorene Irrigan, Child of the Crystal. I know the reasons why you are here, and what is it that you seek to accomplish. This will accomplish nothing, face me so that I may understand the strength of your resolve. I am Dytei, I am your fate!" The thunderbird screeched and caused a great deal of thunder to the surrounding area. It took flight, flying around the temple's altar. With a peck from it's face and the distinct crackle of thunder launched a thunderbolt.

"Wait what?" Nina asked, being told what she was trying to do would do nothing. Before she could get an answer Dytei took flight. Nina watched the bird fly around and jumped out of the way as the bolt struck the ground. "oh great, I'm fighting a god." She grumbled. She reached into her bag and pulled her closed up scythe. Flipping out the handle and the grip. She held it up and aimed for Dytei. Nina pulled the handle and the weapon clicked. "you want a fight big bird? Then lets fight." She shouted, pulling the trigger and firing off a golden brown orb of magic.

The thunderbird took the hit, though it was surprised by the power she wielded and was nearly knocked from it's flight path. Could she really be as strong as them? Dytei would have to wait and see. It screeched, causing a large lightning bolt to fire from the sky, it crashed down and began to move around the alter, heading for Nina. Naturally Nina was already warned thanks to Eloquin's prior explanations.

Nina smiled as she hit the bird. She felt a brief moment pride which soon sinked away as she saw it still moving unaffected. "Dang." She said, pulling the handle again and taking aim. Her concentration was interrupted as she saw lightning start to come down and make its way towards her. Nina looked to it and panicked. She started to run as it got closer. "ohcrapohcrapohcrap" She said, trying to move out of its path. She unfolded her scythe and turned to face it. She spun her weapon around before driving the blade into the ground and hiding behind it.

The metals in the weapon did a number of different things. Dispersed it around Nina and absorbed enough of it, she was shocked, but still standing. That was more than enough voltage to kill anyone, probably even her enemies. It summoned five pillars from the ground in a violent quake, these pillars were part of the temple and served as lightning rods. The thunderbird turned into a bolt of lightning itself and zipped from one rod to another, until it crashed down. As it landed, it's appearance had changed to be more winged humanoid. Wearing clothing as the Quintu but in a far more elaborate manner. Dytei still retained it's necklace too. "What is going on up there?!" Said Elric, he could faintly see that Nina was fighting that bird, but this was unreal!

Nina let out a scream of pain as she was shocked. She breathed heavily as everything went fuzzy, her body becoming limp. Nina grunted and slowly stood her self back up, her legs wobbling. Nina did her best to pull her scythe back out of the ground but shock to her system had weakened her. "h-heh, wh-what was that?" She asked, swaying some as she tried to stand her ground against Dytei. Ninas legs shook some and she had to use her embedded scythe to keep standing.

Dyteiq slowly made his way towards the confused Nina. In his hand appeared a greatsword surrounded in cackling lightning. "Were we mistaken?" He thought outwardly, without hesitation, the being brought the sword down on Nina.

Nina reacted quickly and ducked below the handle of her scythe, the blade striking it instead of her. She let go of her scythe and quickly rolled her self away, reaching into her bag and pulling out her own great sword, her mothers sword. Nina gripped the handle and stood up. "Mistaken about what?" She asked, her body still a bit shaky from the shock.

Dyteiq jumped away from Nina and spoke once more. "Your resolve is as weak as you are. You cannot defeat him." He explained in a cryptic message. This being would not so easily give her straight answers. Spinning the greatsword above his head, he threw it into the air. Lightning bolts rained down, on the last bolt came the sword.

"I am not weak, I took on of your bolts and lived." Nina said holding her sword up. She watched as the sword was tossed into the air and readied her self for the bolts. Most of the lighting missed but when the sword came down it went right for her. Nina lifted her sword and blocked the sword. But the charge in the sword passed through hers and into her body. Nina let out a scream of pain before slowly going limp and starting to collapse. 'N-no, I can't die here' She thought to her self, her body twitching as the electricity continued to go through her. Ninas body started to glow faintly.

"That changes nothing. Your successor has done the same." Dyteiq answered, he would require more to be impressed. He stood above her with the sword at ready to out the flames of her life. "This ends..." He was about to drive the sword into a chest, only to retract his actions to take interest in her sudden glow. What was the meaning of this?

Nina panted heavily as she slowly tried to get up. Her body glowed brighter as she stood. "N-no, it doesn't" She panted. She gripped her sword and stood up. There was a flash of light and her body became transformed. Her hair grew longer and sparkled in many colors. Her armor became a bright white with golden decoration. Even her sword had changed its shape. The blade longer and sharper, the hilt burned with a great red flame. Nina lifted her blade and with out taking a step forward, swung it towards Dyteiq. The blade left behind a trail of blue fire that quickly faded.
