Naturally, on the one day Mitzi wanted to have all day to get ready, her mother had decided she needed to call.
And lecture her.
For hours.
By the time the call was over, the ghoul had been half considering not even going, her mood was so foul. If not for the fact that a friend had somehow apparently found her a date, she might not have. She had to rush through getting ready, and was running very late by the time she decided she was ready and headed out.
As she walked in and recognized the song playing, though, she started to cheer up. A slight smile began to play at her lips, as she looked around the room for anyone she knew. She started into the crowd, half continuing to look for any of her friends, but half simply heading towards the dance floor. She wasn't sure she'd make it by the end of the song, but she certainly wanted to try.
Maybe after that she'd try to find somewhere to wait for her "date" to find her. She didn't know anything about him except that he was a demon, and that he'd find her... hopefully he hadn't ended up leaving when he couldn't find her, although, given the crowd, he probably was still looking for her.

Shaheen was wandering around, alone for whatever reason. Her and Shikoba may have arrived together, but they certainly didn't appear to be spending much time socializing with each other. She was, in fact, looking for the aggravating man right at that moment, having lost him at some point in the evening. Really, how did one lose a towering hulk of a war horseman? She had no idea, but for some reason she decided to blame the loud and mind numbingly ridiculous music currently blasting out from the speakers by the screejay booth. Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle, ya? What the bloody hell.....is this what these scarelings actually considered to be music? Still, she made her own way towards the dance floor, wings twitching behind her in irritation, the layers and ruffles of her dress making a light rustling sound as she walked. She craned herself upwards, trying to get a better view of those on the dance floor but still not able to find her 'date'. Drat. Spinning on one heel, she turned around to head back towards the main entrance, now thinking that perhaps he had gone outside, or possibly even left altogether, when she found herself face to face..or rather...waist to face? with a pink haired ghoul that was heading towards the dance floor. Suddenly feeling quite awkward and tall and in the way, the horsewoman muttered a "Sorry," before shifting to the side to get out of the way, before an idea struck her. "Wait, you...uh..girl!" Was girl the proper word to use? Shaheen had no idea, nor did she really spare it much thought. "Have you perhaps seen a very tall, dark, and possibly handsome.." She supposed he might be considered handsome to some? Shaheen really didn't pay much attention to looks, though, "War horseman around here? I seem to have ah..misplaced him. His face looks something like this." She did her best impersonation of Shiks stoic mask of a face, which was not so surprisingly not much unlike the expression she usually wore herself. Ol-j-man Shaheen is paging Shik. Paging Dr.Shik.

The Reaper pulled up short as a rather tall horsewoman dressed in red and black appeared suddenly in front of her, the two almost colliding between their mutual distraction. "Oh, sorry," she said, almost in sync with Shaheen, not paying too much attention once she had made sure they weren't actually going to run into each other. She didn't know the horsewoman, and with the immediate disaster averted, her mind had already moved on. Maybe if she saw her later, there'd be a glimmer of recognition and she'd go to say hi, but she was already forgetting as she took another step forwards. And then her focus was distracted again when the stranger called out to her, and she halted, glancing quickly between the horsewoman and the dance floor. Could she... no, she suspected that at this point, she really wouldn't get there with enough of the song left to dance to. So instead she turned back to Shaheen, and frowned slightly as she listened to her request. It didn't last, though, as she couldn't help breaking into a grin both at the horsewoman's choice of phrasing, and her impression of her date. "Uh, no..." she replied, "I actually just got here." She looked around the room quickly, although she honestly had no idea at all what she was looking for - a facial expression was not the best way to find someone unfamiliar at the best of times, and was pretty much useless in this crowd. Still... "I suppose I can help you look, though," she offered, and then she held out her hand. "I'm Mitzi. What's the name of this horseman you're looking for?"

The music had slowed again. Mei could still feel herself buzzing from the wild dance fest. Perhaps she event felt a little light headed. She watched as Alex shuffled away, glad to have had chance to dance with her friend. Turning to Eisheth she smiled widely. "I don't know about you but I am super thirsty now. But that can wait if you wanted to dance to this song too."

When False left, he was still sweeping glitter off his suit and hair, wishing that he could just phase himself clean of glitter like a ghost... That would make things that much easier.
"Hm?" He raised an eyebrow, temporarily distracted by the mermaid on his arm, and ignoring the glitter on him for the time being as he grinned, "I do not mind another dance, but not to this song." Because this song sounded crude, and highly inappropriate; as much as the layout of prom was impressive, the song choices had been... Less than ideal.
"Perhaps a photo?" He suggested, remembering spotting a photo booth somewhere, "With any luck, by the time we are done, the next song would be more appropriate to dance to."

Yeah, as much fun as Shehk would have had reading them over the phone, she would have eventually lost her voice from how often the dragon was in hiding. The darn hermit.
"I'll get you my copies later. Well, you could probably take 'The Little Prince' tonight after our Murder Mystery is over." she nodded. "Since it's still in that bookcase with Dracula, Wolf Leader, and Frankenstein."
Yes, Shehk was slowly lending her own collection to Student Council functions.
As for Sammy's reaction, Shehk couldn't help but frown, reaching over to squeeze Jericho's hand at the 'She couldn't forget you' implication. She already had a good idea of how it was working out right then, after all.

"Spoken like a Monster. Breaking things is half the fun." Not that his parents would approve, but considering the state of easily replaced furniture in the monster dorms, they all had a habit of getting carried away.
Taking her hand, he resumed their dance on land. "We have a big bomb fire back home during dances, and everyone just spins and dances and stomps all they light, laughing and shouting and doing whatever they like. The best part of dancing is not following set rules, but to feel alive." To which he dipped her.

Levi had never had a mate before. She had no idea West did. By her understanding, the two of them were in the same situation; they knew most of the mechanics but not the execution of this coupling thing. It meant they'd equally claimed each other for life by her tatzelwurm standards. No, she hadn't verbalized this to West; Levi naively believed it to be a universal understanding. West's actions continued to reassure her that the wrath demon was invested into this. The second time, however brief, was sweeter than the first and Levi internally whined that didn't endure. Her purring began and ended all too soon when West pulled back and spoke, his hands heightening her awareness of just how close they were. As if his lips weren't proof enough. NO No, not ashamed! Levi wasn't ashamed of finding him and being chosen as a mate. Rather, it was difficult to express herself on the issue to others. All her life the ghoul fought smart mouthed boils who told her she was no ghoul. It was her reason for dancing only in private, the reason she strived so hard to train and the reason she continuously challenged West in the first place. Realizing she needed to follow up her exclamation, the tatzel continued with softened features. Not'shamed neither. Just- ... yew know n' I know. Who'else needs ta'know? Perhaps she was selfishly keeping him to herself as well. A deja vu hit her; seeing West with another ghoul riled her up inside to the point where a grumble sounded in her throat and her ears flattened with frustration. There was a forgotten sadness there as well that she felt but had no explanation for; a hurt. Was this something that she dreamed? That's 'nuff fer me. Levi's hands slid up to West's shoulders, pressing him back as she moved back in to continue their kissing exchange. Her skin was tingling and the longer she stayed there outside alone with him, the more she forgot about dancing, punch or meat. Her prom was right here with West. After thinking about not having him, this kiss was threatening to last a lifetime. Would they ever detach? Tune in next week. Same wrath time. Same wrath channel.

"I'd appreciate it," Jericho said with a light smile before looking towards Sammy. The smile diminished at what was said. "She doesn't remember anything.. Not Mal. Not us. But Malodore is trying to help her get back up to speed of things. We'll be doing what we can as well," he sighed.

Oh, how Amphi wanted to tell Thanatos that he was ten times more handsome with all the glitter, that being said, he'd probably not like it that she couldn't stop staring because he was so sparkly .
"That sounds ama-" But the music was something that she couldn't really catch the groove of. And she liked it better when Thana held her hands in his. she liked when he led rather then herself. Something she was accustomed to for the Moirae Reaper.
"A photo!??!" She squeaked, and then looked down....and back up. Aphoto to remember this day! She would love to do that! "A photo sounds amazing!!" And she would have a photo of Thana covered in sparkles.
Ehehehehe.
"Shall we go then?" She continued to hold his arm and tug him towards the Photobooth. A dance would have to wait! PHOTO WITH GLITTERY THANA IS A MUST!!! O_O.
(Exiting?) :'DDDD

"I know, I've admired these before~" Mac grinned, playing with a couple of the buttons for a moment or two after he put on the watch.
She returned the kiss and Mac's arm slid from the wall, both moving to trail down her sides and to grip her waist. He had no qualms about forgetting that Prom existed and to just enjoy this time, their first year anniversary as a couple.

As she was about to deepen the kiss, Lizzy heard something that sounded like faint purring coming from somewhere nearby. Not wanting to be caught kissing in such a public place, she pulled away, blushing as she looked around, trying to locate the source of the purring. Taking Mac's hand, she tugged him away from the wall, frowning as she followed the sound over to the wall that was opposite to their wall...
Her eyes widened as she pointed at Levi and West - the former being the source of the purring she heard - lips moving as if she was trying to say something, but nothing came out. In the end, she just stood there, one finger raised and pointed at the couple, mouth wide open in a soundless yell.
Busted.
"AHH. AHHHHHHHHHHH!" As she finally managed to make a sound, "AHHHHHHHHHH?!?!" It roughly translated to 'HEY. THAT IS OUR TRADITION!' followed by 'WHEN DID LEVI AND WEST HAPPEN?!?!'
