People ...
I am in no way shape or form 'bitching'. Please do not take this that way. But! All I ask, when interacting with Silas, is that you take into consideration he is a massively powerful, incredibly evil, seriously twisted individual. And yes, your characters may have been around for eons. They could have seen the birth and deaths of a thousand worlds. I don't really care. If all you want to do is stroke dicks to see who gets off first ... I'm out.
Blah ... I'm tired. I don't need this crap this early in the morning.

Alright, I'm just going to do this as easily as possible and quote both of you, so maybe you'll both listen, and pay the hell attention.
I'm a nice person, I allow alot of things that most people would be like "oh hell no".... Like an all powerful sorcerer (sorry Kinoki if that's not the appropriate term), to come into my castle, despite having warning that he's evil.
However, I have one very serious rule I do follow, and both of you need to keep that in mind.... NO DRAMA
I understand, fully, where you both are coming from, Lucretia, nobody, not even Amaranthe, can negate absolutely all damage handed out to her like that.
And I can understand where you're coming from Kinoki, considering how much thought obviously went into the creation of Silas, down to his spells etc.
But I really don't need in-fighting in a guild that's still trying to find it's bearings. I adore both of you as partners, you create such gorgeous and complex characters, and have the talent in writing to match.
So please guys, fix your issues, and get along, because well, it's rather childish to fight over a roleplaying issue, none the less one that's so simple to fix. Simply respect eachother... Silas is a powerful character, and has abilities over the undead, so keep Raven away from him, or she's going to end up hurt.
I don't want to lose either of you as members, you may be different, but you're both, at least to me, incredible in your own way....

Uhh, actually I kind of found your behavior a bit inappropriate in the Foyer. I get Silas is powerful and sh....uhh stuff, but there's still no reason for an insanely long post where the other character has only an "option of surviving". It's unfair and the only other option would be for someone to be equally as god-modish to avoid having to just survive. I also wanted to point something out really quick and this is for Kinoki too...
Provided that Raven is Undead, her response was pretty close to what should have happened. The draining spells would have given her extra strength, since the negative nature of the spells gives power to undead creatures. Additionally, in order for Soul Bind to work, the subject has to be dead for no more than one round per caster level. Considering that there are no 10th level spells listed in your profile, I can only gander a guess that your socerer is about level 20, and I feel that is generous. Given that a round (In D&D terms) is characterized as 6 seconds, she would have had to die and be dead for no more than 120 seconds, or two minutes. And this is all providing that Rave is undead. In this case, all damage would actually be negated and used to her advantage and the soul binding would have no effect since he would have been unable to kill her.
So I'm just saying that the way the spells work on an undead character, her response was fairly accurate. If anything, she might have felt rejuvenated...just saying...

I was asked not to cause drama. The fact that you are dragging this out, after the captain of the guild has asked that there be no drama, is inappropriate in it's self. Not to mention that it is very disrespectful to the guild leaders.
Now. Let's talk D&D. Or rather, let me talk and you learn. Soul bind has different mechanics when it comes to undead. Undead being in bodies that are, well, dead. Soul bind reacts to an undead the same way it does to a fresh corpse. The only undead that soul bind has no effect on is a lich. And that's because a lich binds it's soul to a specific gem. That in it's self is a very lengthy, and costly process.
As for the energy drain, you're absolutely right. Which is why I got upset. If she would have bothered to read the descriptions she would have seen that Silas was actually boosting her own abilities with his. That was so he wouldn't absolutely waste a very powerful soul gem. It also would have the nice side effect of allowing the character to be resurrected without any adverse effects. Resurrection, even true resurrection, still cannot bring a creature, or person, back from death at 100%. With Silas beefing her up, when she was brought back, she'd be as good as new.
Anything else you'd like to try and point out?

So, is all this making anyone else's head hurt, or just mine? I get what's being said, I just don't understand why there is all this commotion over it. IT'S A MISUNDERSTANDING, and I'd like to say on both parts, but what do I know?

Enough, people.
No more egging on, whether it be intentionally or not. The subject is dropped. I have said my piece, deleted the OOC in question, and ended the conversation. Now, everyone resume your normal lives within the guild, and quit arguing and bitching at eachother.
End Of Story.

As the captain commands, so shall we obey. On a different note, anyone else have a huge case of writer's block?

Amory_Diomedes As the captain commands, so shall we obey. On a different note, anyone else have a huge case of writer's block? No writers block here, just no partners... And the Bar/Den thing we have going, totally doesn't count... I'm tempted to hunt Amory down in his quarters or something... Seriously bored -chuckles-
