Chase swooped down on Romy, only to miss. He wouldn't get discouraged so fast though. The Ravenclaw directed his broom upward, making a sharp turn to try to steal the quaffle again.

Narrowing her eyes, she caught her lip between her teeth and bit down, hard. Copper bloomed as the jolt of pain snapped her mind into fight or flight.
