Outside the club Dorians foot taped on the ground slowly, with a dull thud as he waited for someone giving the bouncer a hard time to move so he could enter the club. With a sigh as the conflict becomes physical, Dorian grabs the guy by the sides of his shoulders and throws him of to the side, landing in a wet part of the alley.

With the hem of his overcoat whirling somewhat behind him, Dorian entered the club, letting his senses be filled by the old scene he had missed. Glancing around the front room, Dorian makes his way through the crowd, managing to not touch a person, he emerges against the other wall and looks around again. Dorian smiles and moved into one of the darker corners of the room, watching the entrance.

Evangeline kept her hood up as she passed the bouncers, not really wanting them to see her face. She was skilled in keeping to the shadows, tricking the light on her face to appear somewhat different looking. She got a nod from one of the two gorillas and entered, lowing her hood as she did so.

She walked slowly, letting the scene fill her. Half of her loved this and the other half hated being crammed into a space with so many people. The scent was heavy in the air, reeking of human and immortal blood alike.

Evey ooked around, brown eyes large and searching. She sighed and continued to wander aimlessly, pushing through all the daners or crowds.

One of the newer patrons who entered caught Dorians attention. After a moment of contemplation, he entered the crowd and milled around keeping a careful view on his prey. Reaching out carefully avoiding some of the dancers, he taps the person on the shoulder and tilts his head with a mild grin splayed across his face.

With his grin growing ever wider, Dorian swept a hand towards the bar, stopping it just behind a dancers back.

"No, no more sidewalk explosions for me, I've simply taken to shooting up libraries."

With a tentative step turning into a walk, Dorian moved through the crowd and headed towards the bar, letting Evey catch up at her own choice. Dorian sat down on one of the stools and swiveled around much like a little child would have, his long overcoat splaying out with the motion.

Watching and noting how Evey was still fun spirited, Dorian gave a smile that ment trouble. Things always ment trouble for either of them, this, was going to be fun.

"Boo."

Dorian threw his head back and laughed. He couldn't put his finger on it, but Evey's response was so perfect, it was funny. Turning around and reaching under his coat into a pocket, Dorians hand clenched around a wad of bills.

"Care for a drink, I'm sure we could both use one while we catch up."

Dorians arm rested on one of the knives at his waist, he almost wasn't aware of it from how often he had the weapon placed their.

Dorian waved over the bartender and looked sidelong at Evey, grinning once again. She looked the same as he remembered, so to speak.

"Guns, yes, Explosives, definatly. You left out cars, more near death experiences, and I assure you, I don't take my promises lightly love."

Breaking to speak to the bartender for a moment.

"One coke, one pepsi, and some 'water', if you get it."

So, Evey, hows it been anyways? Still wrapped up in life, or simply lost again?"

The funny ring he could use when speaking was clear in the last sentence, as well as a few quicky nods to compliment the grin he had when speaking.
