Exceed seemed more confused than anything as he walked inside the base, sighing as he was pretty much ignoring everything after he decided to shoot the man next to Spoderman. It didn't take long for him to go through the place as he experienced a huge headache because of Abe.
It seemed as though it all stopped as Exceed opened up the inner sanctum's door, wondering what was inside. The hairs on the back of his neck standing on end from the tension inside of his mind, entering in deeper still. His hand placed on his broadsword as he felt something was far more different the moment the doors opened. Ice had began to freeze the area slowly while Exceed fully opened the door and began to enter the chamber slowly.
A man entered the palace in his possession, a letter. "Is Captain Exceed in the palace?" he asked someone and they pointed him to were Exceed was. He approached Exceed "excuse me sir?"

It didn't take long till Exceed soon woke up from his slumber, coughing a bit of smoke out of his lungs before he looked to the man. He soon got up and walked over to the man as he soon said, "What is it?" He rubbed his head a bit, feeling a tad weak due to that extended rest period.
The Man held out the letter to Exceed "I was charged with delivering this to you sir" he said.
Letter
To the Captain Exceed,
Greetings sir this is Kain Leingod. I would like to invite you to my estate outside the city. I will be in my shrine meditating if you choose to come.

'Exceed' Bladed Gunner ╔══════════════╗
Exceed sighed before he took the letter and opened it, reading it before he shook his head before taking one of the window vines to leave quickly. (exits)
A full year had passed, since the war started against both Yuran and Kranila, people had been getting harmed or even dying since it began. But with the destruction of Yuran, many of it's civilians who had fled to the woods had since taken residency here. The hospital was unfortunately full of both soldiers and people, but it was overwhelming with the amount of survivors that retreated here with wounded or even dead relatives. Exceed had been staying at the palace with plenty of others, caring for them in the throne room since it was the most expansive place. He had been taking care of them for the past few weeks, ensuring their strength had gotten back up. He had sent Kain out to assist in repairs and even assisting the hospital, so he was mostly by himself helping others. Those with missing limbs he assisted with new prosthetic limbs to help them walk again or to help them even truly hold those they loved. Most of the ones he had helped taken care of were younger than the adults, being below 18.
He was mentally exhausted, but always helped everyone recover, soon beginning to teach them in the ways of self-protection and even self-discovery. He even made a few assistant robots to go and tend to the weak while Moko was the main source of food, water, and medicinal recovery. Unfortunately, Exceed was one of Kranila soldiers that went to try and help Kranila, and he never really came out of it the same. His left eye was taken by Nocturne forces so he had a major sight problem, the left eye covered by bandages that wrapped over it in a diagonal fashion with a horizontal that went over his forehead across completely with a small amount of blood still fresh on his diagonal bandages. He sighed a bit and looked at all of the people, the new pupils he'd have to not only take care of, but even train and raise as some of them lacked parental units.

Gilraen Dawn Elf Ninja - Adept Soldier Strength: 5 / Speed: 9 Energy: 900/900 Skills used: None Weapons: Bo Staff, Bow and Arrow, crossbow, Shuriken
Gilraen comes into the Palace area, heading over to Exceed. In the past year, he had done a fair amount of missions, training intensely, recently earning the rank of Adept. Despite his lack of affection for having superiors, he had grown to tolerate Exceed during the war, as Exceed was one of his commanders throughout it all. Once he's over by Exceed, he puts on a bit of a smirk. "Still not working on getting that eye fixed? With your skill with technology, it shouldn't be that hard to build yourself an artificial eye. What, you like being handicapped?"
"Very entertaining Gilrean." Exceed told the man as quickly as he joked about Exceed's missing eye as he was currently making a new prosthetic. "But I honestly haven't had much time.... did you bring what I asked though?" He asked of Gilrean, having sent him out earlier to get medical supplies while Moko was out hunting for fruits and edible vegetables. "Alot of the trainees keep getting themselves hurt or they just over-grow their prosthetics." He told Gilrean as he finished up the newest arm Prosthetic. With limited resources, and having to recycle the dead king's armory for most of the prosthetic pieces, it would last them for a while until they ran out of materials. Without a proper king, they had no chances of getting materials, especially without Pronta's precious resources thanks to the demons covering all the land in Yuran.

"Yeah, yeah." Gilraen pulls the supplies out of his coat. "In all seriousness, though, you should consider working on that eye. Send someone to Aramil or something, have them procure something for you. You're not going to do as well on the battlefield as you should if you can't see anything on your left side. And I doubt Nocturne is going to stop with Yuran. If I was their leader, I'd strike here next as the job's half done here. We need all the strength we can get." He hands Exceed the medicine.
"At least I can count on ya for helping me with everyone." Exceed told the Dawn Elf as he took the medicine and set it aside before he soon stood up. Gilrean made some impressive points as Kranila was going to be a 2nd target, namely for it was a good refuge for any escapees from Yuran. Not to mention, since they were somewhat united under West, they were definitely next targets. Exceed's thoughts then went back as he wondered what happened to their Queen, but that didn't last long as he soon looked to Gilrean. "Their leader was Zach.... the god of War, if anything... you're more than right. But I can't leave this place for something for myself. Not to mention, you've already heard about Akeem being off at Amaranthine... so Aramil could be defenseless and we might be leading them to it if they have spies on us."
