Ethfael Ethfael rested coiled up on a large hospital bed. The moment they'd arrived the nurses had been all over the huge dragon, salving and bandaging his wounds and forcing him to lay low and move as little as possible. It was been a rather long task considering the amount of wounds he had and the length of his body, but they had finally managed it. The Dragonair was bandaged so tightly in so many places that what had been painful to move before was quite simply too painful to even adjust his position, so he was forced to stay. Before they left the nurses offered him some anesthesia to put him to sleep for a while but he politely refused, insisting that he would be fine. Now he was alone in the room with Alice. The Ralts had kindly stayed with him through the entire procedure in place of his Team and he rather appreciated it.
At last Ethfael turned his bandaged head toward the Ralts with a slight painful smile, "Thank you for bringing me back here," he said, "And for everything back there as well. Although I wouldn't have regretted it then, I would have been certain to regret what I might have done."

AliceAlice remained silent throughout Ethfael’s patching. It did indeed look rather bothersome given his size, but she was patient. She merely sat on a chair with her hands on her lap and her feet kicking lazily below her—not that she could reach the ground anyway. She dazed a bit, looking off toward the ground until Ethfael spoke. She looked up quickly in response before brushing her hair from her eyes and nodding. “Of course! I couldn’t leave you alone there.” Alice giggled slightly. It sounded almost nervous though she rebounded quickly. “It’s fine, really. I couldn’t do much there anyway in terms of fighting. I’m not the best psychic out there you see…” Far from it, to be exact. “I normally try and help out though... I’m glad I got there in time.” She didn’t want to consider what could have happened otherwise. It was hard for her to feel of any real use, so despite what happened prior to her arrival, she was glad. “I hope you recover soon and well…” Originally intending to say, ‘I hope you and Riley…’ she disregarded it quickly and successfully. Bringing up the teams might not have been a good idea. Though she was the only member present from her own team at the fight, all from Sai's went by pretty smoothly, Deca aside. Ver was still limping about, but he didn't need to be hospitalized. Sai was with her mother and Solaris somewhere in the hospital, and Freya bailed before anything bad could have happened to her.

Ethfael Ethfael listened to Alice's chatter with his eyes closed, nodding in agreement to show that he was still listening. It was merely a blockade against the pain, not against the outside world; the artificial light hurt his eyes a bit after all of the experiences of the day and he need to relax. He smiled at the Ralts' well-wishes, re-opening his eyes as she finished. "Thank you," he replied. It was fairly clear what Alice had intended to say, but it was better to leave it left unsaid. He hoped that he would be well soon enough also, but it was important to follow the doctor's instructions and let the healing process run its course.
Of course, while Alice was here he may as well take advantage of having someone around to chat with. "So," he said, making idle conversation with her, "You seem to know my Team relatively well but I don't know much about yours." He smiled apologetically, "I'm afraid I don't get around much to meet with other Teams. Care to tell me a little about your own?" True it wasn't the most creative topic, but it would pass the time.

AliceAlice's expression somehow brightened more as he thanked her again. Being of use was a big thing for the Ralts. She gave a quick nod, though her expression quickly neutralized the moment he said 'so'. Her team...? "Oh. Well..." She paused, thinking. Her team personally wasn't very known at all. They didn't run around on guild wide missions like she did. "There's Meter. She's a Petilil. She just joined recently. Then there's Dior. Dior's a Snorunt. She raised me while I was still in my teen years. We came here together." One could wonder why they were hardly around each other, but Alice just gave another quick nod. There was little to say of her own team indeed. "I hang around with Sai's team for the most part. It's far more lively than mine..." That Minimize TM from the carnival for example? Yeah. That went to Sai. Ver almost got pinned to a wall from that ice assault before fleeing meanwhile Deca was lucky enough to get out of the room at all. She didn't come back for 2 days.

Singel Uluat❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺Uluat woke from his slumber slowly and let out a loud yawn. He rubbed his eyes with his claw slowly, trying to get all the sleepiness that remained in his system out of his body. Once his eyes could fully see, he saw something odd. It was a black Charmander, standing and stretching out. He quickly shot to his feet, realizing Singel was out of his bed. "Singel! What are you doing?! Shouldn't you still be resting?" He asked as the Charmander merely smiled back. "Come on Uluat, you honestly can't expect me to stay down for too long can you? We got more things to do around here." He stated as he began leaving the room.
Uluat quickly followed nearly tripping on disc that fell from his lap and losing a hold of the egg in his arm. He regained his composure and began following Singel, worry still in his voice. "Singel, look you were messed up pretty badly out there! You really should take more time to rest up otherwise you could really end up doing yourself less good." The Gligar stated with genuine concern. Singel smiled and cracked a knuckle. He obviously didn't think twice about getting more hurt. Every injury was something he would take with him further down the road, so what's a few more scars to add to the scrap book. "Come on Uluat, give me some credit. I am much tougher then you think I am." He said as he let smoke spew from his nose. "And besides, I wanna see how that Mightyena and Kadabra are doing right now!" He said as he began running towards the team rooms. Uluat was surprised by his partner's sudden speed and had to chase him down, as he couldn't fly while holding all the items in his arms. "The least you could do is hold something for me! I hate being the pack mule!" He yelled out, trying to catch up to his teammate. ❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Ethfael "I see," the Dragonair said, pondering the group Alice had named. It was true, he honestly hadn't heard of either of the two that she'd spoken of, which, while it wasn't saying a lot seeing as he he didn't keep tabs on lesser known Teams, still was a mild surprise to him. Sai's Team however, he did know a bit about. Of course the Glaceon herself was on that Team, and so apparently was that blue Ditto. He seemed to recall the black and white Flareon was on their Team too, but he wasn't certain. There certainly were a lot of Eeveelutions on their Team now that he thought about it.
Something was nagging at the Dragonair as he thought about Sai's Team, there was something that that he'd been meaning to say but it had slipped his mind. The dragon thought back through the battle, trying to think of what it was, and then the thought struck him. That was it, that was what he wanted to ask. As he looked back at Alice it bothered him more and more. Her hair, it was too similar to be a coincidence. "About before," he said, looking at her with an intense curiosity. "You wouldn't happen to know that Gardevoir, would you?" He could have just gone ahead and asked if they were related, but the way that Alice's eyes had looked back then, before Riley had tackled him to the ground, there was something that didn't quite make sense if that was the case. No one would show that amount of shock to someone who they had grown up with, would they? And Alice had mentioned someone else raising her, with no mention of a brother at all. There was something here that didn't entirely make sense, and needless to say he was curious.

AliceAlice watched the Dragonair carefully as he went silent. He was thinking, but about what didn't really gain her curiosity. She just sat there, smiled, and waited. There was a polite charm gone about it. When he finally spoke, the Ralts' expression neutralized quickly and her body came mostly still. You sat there staring at each other you idiot-- of course he'd notice. Alice blinked. "Well..." She scratched her head in thought. Where to start... "I do. I think I do. I just thought he might have died long ago so seeing him was rather shocking. I haven't seen him for most of my life." Though it was true, that feeling of her stomach dropping the moment they made eye contact was far too real for a random encounter. He reacted as well when he saw her too. "His name is Anues. He's my little brother." Alice smiled slightly. "We grew up together, but... not for long at all. Our parents only wanted daughters, you see. He left on his own at the age of 7. He was already a Kirlia by then-- he evolved so quick. He lived with a close by family friend for a while after that, so we saw each other all the time... I can't remember anything beyond that though." Alice blinked in mild confusion. "I wasn't sure though. This isn't my first time seeing him, but I never examined him the first time. He looks so different." Her expression saddened. "I'm glad he's alive, but something just seems so off." Actually, she didn't recall him having a breastplate either. She was far away from him though. She could have looked over it.

 Lloyd
Down the hall an orange Weavile with narrowed eyes and a scowl was pushing a cart along at a steady pace. He seemed in no rush, actually he didn't seem to be in any hurry at all considering the cart was loaded with medicinal supplies for a clearly ill and 'in dire need of assistance' patient. Without much concern for the drama going on he maintained his sluggish walk until he spotted a tall green Pokemon appear further down the hall. At that point he stopped, relinquishing his cart and turned around to trot back in the opposite direction. Nope, nope. He wasn't talking to that damn bug. He wanted nothing to do with the guy. He was a pain in the a** and Lloyd would be damned if he had to be in the same breathing space as Tolin for an extended period of time. 'Damn insect!' He kept his head down as he sulked away, hoping not to draw attention to himself, but being an otherwise brightly-colored speck in a pure white hallway would probably ruin his attempts to escape unseen.

 Tolin
Tolin popped out of place and reappeared about two meters off from the Weavile. Lloyd wasn't avoiding him, even if he wanted to. Teleport made that hard. "We need to have a quick talk, since you don't seem to be busy." He motioned back at the cart Lloyd had abandoned in his effort to evade the Scyther. "Preferably somewhere private. For your sake as much as mine." The Weavile wasn't going to like what he would hear, but he would be pissed if someone else heard as well.

Ethfael Ethfael listened to the story that Alice told with interest, although it did bother him slightly. She claimed that Javs' name was Anues, but the Gardevoir had introduced himself as Javs, and he didn't see any reason the Psychic would have to lie to him. Yet Alice's story was so definite, as if she was certain about what she spoke that made him unable to entirely discard the Ralts' story. Not only that, but their undeniable resemblance helped Alice's side of the story. The Dragonair sighed, he was too tired, in too much residual pain to try and think in circles like this; the headache that had threatened to form before currently in full force as he tried to piece together this curious puzzle. There were plenty of possibilities as to what might be going on, and they spun about in his head, making him wince slightly as they threatened to overwhelm him. It would have been far easier to just accept one story or the other, but Ethfael was to persistent for his own good and forced himself to try and put the two together.
After a moment he nodded, finally satisfying himself with a partial answer. "So his name is Anues?" he said to her, "He goes by a different name now, Javs. I've only met him once before but he's around the Guilds time and again, although he doesn't talk much. I don't doubt your story Alice, but I'm not entirely certain what to think about it." The Dragonair smiled slightly apologetically, "Although judging from the way that he looked at you, I wouldn't doubt if he thinks you dead also." Ethfael frowned slightly, wondering how the Gardevoir would react if he knew that his older sister was alive. "I don't know how he'd react to seeing you again though, you may want to be wary if you visit him..."

AliceAlice's expression saddened as Ethfael spoke. She waited for him to finish, she didn't interrupt, but it hurt to hear. She had too many questions that Ethfael couldn't answer. Why was he around the guilds? Who was that female Gardevoir he was with when she first saw him? Why did he bother protecting members of the guild back in the fight? Why would he assume she had died? Her eyes traveled about randomly in thought, making her go silent for some time. Ethfael's words held true though. "So, you met him?" Alice finally asked, her eyes returning to his own. He spoke of her Gardevoir counterpart rather accurately from what she could remember. At least he could answer one question if they met. Meeting meant Ethfael got close to him for some time before he likely ran off. "Did he have a breastplate?" She finally finished. Odd question, maybe, but she didn't see one. It overall worried her.

Ethfael Ethfael watched Alice's reaction with a touch of sadness of his own. He felt badly that he couldn't provide more information which the Ralts would no doubt want to hear, but there was nothing he could do. To be separated from one's siblings from a young age must be rather difficult, but then he would know about that himself. The Dragonair's expression darkened slightly as he thought about his own missing family; he'd still had no success in hearing anything about where they might have gone or even if they were alive or dead. The supposed death of one's family, that was indeed something he could relate to.
The Dragonair nodded to the Ralts' first, more rhetorical question. He had already said it before, but he could confirm that at least. The second question was slightly odd, but the more he thought about it, the more sense it made. Javs...Anues didn't have a breastplate. Ethfael hadn't thought about it much before, but it caused him slight unease now. Normal Gardevoir had breastplates, but he did not. "Now that you mention it," he said rather pensively, "I don't believe that he did. No, I'm certain that he didn't." It caused Ethfael to feel rather uneasy that he had to be the bearer of so much unhappy news, but someone had to do it. In the end only he himself could really be blamed; he'd asked the question that had started this discussion.

AliceAlice's expression darkened at his reply. He didn't after all. He was born with that plate-- she knew it. It's been a while, but he's her brother, she couldn't forget his looks. Her eyes darted elsewhere as she thought. That plate was close to the heart, but he was obviously alive and well. Still, whatever could have happened made her uneasy. She shook her head quickly, blowing off the idea before her mind could begin sorting through situations.
"I have a request." Alice smiled, though it wasn't quite as cheery as it normally was. She carefully removed a necklace from around her neck and dangled it from her small hand. "Anues has the same one as me. I don't feel comfortable approaching him yet and well... He won't come to me. If your meeting with him went by smoothly, chances are he'll seek you. He's a very active thinker, you see." Alice nodded. He was always like that and she doubt he changed. He didn't like change. "I... don't know how he'll react, but knowing I'm around will soften the fall when I do come along." She frowned. "I'm sorry if it sounds troublesome. You just seem like someone he would get along with." She looked back at her necklace-- or more specifically, his. She hoped he still had hers.

Ethfael Ethfael silently listened to Alice's words, nodding his head in understanding as she concluded. Carefully he adjusted his position to minimize the pain and extended the tip of his tail to the Ralts and carefully took the necklace from her, carefully withdrawing it to himself and holding it close to himself. "It's no trouble at all," he said, "I will make certain that he receives this necklace by my own doing, I promise." A promise was a heavy thing, but the Dragonair could tell how much it meant to her that he give the small necklace to Anues. He didn't know how he'd find the Gardevoir, nor even what sort of reaction he would get, but he was too tired to ponder the outcome. Perhaps it would work out the way that Alice said and Anues would seek him of his own accord, but just in case, he would be ready.
He looked at the necklace that hung now from his tail; a small thing, yet something that was very significant to this pair. "You don't have to worry, I'll care for it while it's in my keeping." he told her quietly, "I wish only the best for you and your brother. I hope things can be worked out between you for the better."

AliceAlice watched him carefully as he took the necklace though she hardly worried. He was already handling it with care. The Ralts gave a weak smile and nodded as he accepted the rather small, yet meaningful task. She knew she picked well. "Thank you. I'm sure all will go well." Or, so she could hope. It's been 18 years. Alice was still questionable about doing this, but given they were both alive and well, she'd might as well do it. The Ralts eventually took a deep breath and straightened her posture, returning to her cheery state. "Well Ethfael, I'm sorry to leave so soon, but I'm worried about Deca... I'll see you around when you get better though." Alice bowed her head slightly as she stood in her chair before teleporting out. The goodbye was short lived and rather odd for her, but she felt a bit uncomfortable.
