Gaia Puzzles. I can do an "Insane" puzzle in about 20 minutes for some 500 odd gold. Just do 4 of them at once.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'll post today, hopefully get things moving in both threads I've managed to stall. sweatdrop
On the subject of cars...I'm really hoping we get to sit in them in our signatures sometime.
On the subject of a recent Lanzer announcement: Gaia Online won the Community section of the Webware 100 by a landslide, beating out contenders like Bebo and MySpace with a 60% of total votes.

yes Its understandable. however I seem to think ms. rivers forgot something very important, she is hovering the vt in battloid mode sideways over a group of people and shielding them from missiles! now what hapens to the people underneath when the VT gets hit by thoes missiles loses its power, gets smacked into the ground by the force of the impact and blows up with all thoes people underneath sweatdrop

Physics is sitting this one out, as well as the fact they would have to be very big missiles to survive re-entry (and considering at least the Aurora class only carries missiles designed for ship to ship combat, that means scarily enough Nuclear warheads in the megaton range, but then again nukes in space are nothing like nukes in atmosphere, which makes them alot tamer in perspective.
To be honest I'd assume, the missiles are conventional (for the sake of RP and not killing Ms. Rivers) I honestly suggest luck and some form of divine intervention... hmm perhaps not divine but I may be able to hedge her chances, let me get some time to post and I think I know how to make her job a little easier.

Ah, the vast resources of the GN to the rescue xd
Unless something additional happens, I'll have the VF-1s mostly slagged, but Rachele safe within the cockpit. I'll wait on Mr. Highwind's next post before posting it up though.

wella orbital cannon just nocked out 70% of the missiles, and nocked about 20% of them off there course. I would say except for a few randome chances you should actualy be fairly clear from getting hit. I would have thought they would develop a body scanner in the suit/helmet, and included a decive to clamp over the mouth when the weraer is going to throw up.

Well even 10% of 92 missiles at 30 tons each (assuming the lightest missile in the fleet; the Barracuda-XT (tele-operated) missile) is a significant threat... however Ms. Rivers seems to have saturated her immediate area well enough...
Normally though I wouldn't have done that, I don't like doing those kind of step ins.

espeshily since your grabing a orbital cannon aiming it so it fires without strikeing any earth structures or terain and compensateing for the earths magnetic field.

The earths magnetic field is fairly moot in such a case... gravity and light really aren't that connected considering their wave-like properties mean their almost immune (note the almost part) a bigger concern is thermal blooming in which case your just dumping raw energy into the atmosphere with no real coherence, focus is about the only thing you can do which is to set it to come to 'point' (more specifically be a coherent beam) at a specific area or length, this also means past that point you get very little coherence or effect.
