Sparow1450 people say love will make you do stupid things, I believe that to be quite the opposite, yes I am hopelessly in love, sadly with some one from another country, that would stop most people, but not this 18 year old, I am working on getting a job, I am learning to cook and take care of myself, this 18 year old is growing up fast, and preparing for a big move, this Canadian's going to Australia! not now, but hopefully sooner than later! happiness doesn't just came to the front door, you have to earn it, how far will you go for love, how far will you go for happiness? this is how far I'm going, and I'm not letting anything get in my way! Thanks for sharing with us sparow. I would love to go to australia! (to visit) I'm glad you have big dreams! I hope it works out well for you!

Good luck in your endeavor, Sparow, I'm sure you'll meet success--you seem very determined. I wish you the best. (: I didn't have to go far for love, myself, but I did have to face a lot of nay-saying old people telling me I was an idiot, amongst other things. I showed them what-for by having a fantastic wedding and continuing into an awesome marriage. Four year anniversary this summer, squee.
Also, my brother-in-law is presently living in rural Australia--he's a medical resident at a teaching hospital in Sydney, and he's training in some remote villages. He really likes it there. I wouldn't mind visiting sometime... several friends of mine have been to Australia and really enjoyed themselves.

Australia's an awesome place. The outback is fun until you start sweating so bad you look like you just came out of a swimming pool. Sydney is definitely the place to go, though.
Ironically enough, my first girlfriend was an Aussie too. razz
There's just something irresistible about that accent, eh Sparrow?
