Garin slowly let out his held breath as the pain subsideed. "Warn me next time before you do that," he said with a weak smile.

"I'm so sorry!" Aquaria apologized. "I can't do anything right," she muttered.

"But it is true," Aquaria protested. "I try to fight, and you get hurt because of that. I try to heal you, and you feel more pain. In my book, that classifies as 'not right,'" she said, crying. As Garin put his hand on her back, she winced slightly. Her wounds were still raw.

"I put you in danger every day I'm around you..." Garin said, looking to her again. It was now that he saw the bruises on her wrists. "And if I didn't cause you pain, how did you get those bruises?"

"These bruises don't hurt me!" Aquaria screamed at Garin. "And besides, I got them through my own stupidity. It had nothing to do with-" Aquaria started crying before she could finish her sentence.

Garin pulled her into a warm embrace, resting his chin on top of her head. "Aquaria, I got hurt becaus of my mistakes, not yours. If you hadn't distracted him, then I doubt we would have been able to defeat him. I couldn't have taken him on by myself."
((You should be able to copy excel charts into word, right?))

((Actually, I just did 'insert table' and put all the numbers in. It's a function of word because excel doesn't like me.))
"But you can't say that me healing you with my holy magic was your fault! That's caused you so much pain, and-it's-all-my-fault!" Aquaria said. Her sentence broke off from the tears.

((Oh, those I copied directly from loggerpro when I found a trial copy on the internet, but you should be able to insert graphs in word too, but copying from excel should also work))
"Not if it's because it's something you can't tolerate, something out of your control!" Aquaria said forcefully. "It was burning because I used something that you can't handle, something the same as, but stronger than, what hurt you initially! That's not healing, that's hurting."

"Does not alcohol burn while it cleans a wound?" Garin asked in reply, giving her a small squeeze. "SAme thing with your magic. It helped my injury, even if it did burn a bit. But I suppose that's the price I pay, right?"
