Shojuto nodded in agreement. "I don't really know why, but ya. They've always been my favorite part of the playground. Me and Kietaru used to push eachother on the swings all the time when we were little. That's probably one of my favorite memories, is coming to the park with my sister." He said, rather quietly, reminising about their childhood.
Letting his feet up again so he could swing properly, Shojuto began swinging his legs back and forth, pumping, so he could go higher and higher. He began to be able to look slightly over the trees, the wind now blowing through his hair, and messing it up slightly, getting his bangs into his eyes. He shook his hair so it would blow out of his face insted of into it.

Mizuki tilted her head slightly, thinking back now. "All of my brothers and my sister are younger than me so I'd often be the one taking them to the park and pushing them on the swings... I'm glad to finally get away from them all, because I was always stuck looking after them, but I kind of miss them at the same time... How old's your sister though?" she asked curiously, glancing over at him.
Her hair blew into her face as well, as it slipped from the braid, and she just managed to catch the black ribbon that'd been holding it before it blew away. But she kept smiling and kept going higher and higher into the air. She hadn't been to a playground in forever, so she hadn't been on swings for a long time either. She looked back at him though, waiting for a reply.

Shojuto thought for a moment. "Ya, Kietaru is a pain in my butt sometimes, but I'd miss her a lot of I had to be away from her for a while. When we were little and living in the orphanage, someone had wanted to adopt her..but not me. She wouldn't let them, she refused to leave unless I was coming too. So the people just left both of us, this is when we were about ten that it happened."
"Me and Kietaru are both 16, we're twins, but I am about 3 minutes older than her, as much as she hates to admit it. She constantly argues with me over who was born first. It's pretty funny really." Noticing that Mizuki had almost lost her ribbon, he reached to grab it, but she'd gotten it just in time, so he put his hand back on the swing chain.

Mizuki bowed her head slightly as she continued swinging, watching the ground moving rapidly beneath her. She didn't want to say it aloud, in case it brought back bad memories or something, but the thought that someone would want his sister and not him was horrible! She was glad that she'd stayed with him, even though she didn't really understand the entire situation, or know his sister really. It wasn't right for slibings to be split up, especially if they're twins.
She glanced up at him after a moment though, attempting to smile again. She was making herself kind of homesick even though it'd been less than a day. "That's really cool," she nodded. "I wish I had a twin, or any older sibling actually. 'Cause when you're the oldest, you have to go through everything first and it's a little scary..." She blinked as she saw him raise his hand, and after a moment realized he was about to reach for the ribbon as well. "Ah, thanks," she smiled, even though he hadn't done anything. It was the thought that counted.

Shojuto noticed that Mizuki became quiet for a moment, it took him a few seconds to realize that she probably didn't know how to respond to what he'd said, which was typical for him. He was used to saying stupid things that ended up making people feel sad or uncomfortable, so he decided to drop it, not wanting to make Mizuki upset.
"Having a twin can be pretty fun, but I'm kind of glad we're not the same gender. Getting mixed up with your sibling would get pretty annoying, at least to me. But ya, we've always had eachother to lean on when things got bad..I'm pretty glad I have her around." Shojuto gave Mizuki a smile when she thanked him for his attempt at grabbing her ribbon for her. "No problem."

Mizuki nodded her head. "It seems like it'd be pretty fun... Though, having another person who looks exactly like you would be pretty weird. You could pull pranks on people though, or take tests for each other... Or just switch places for the hell of it." She grinned and then returned to watching the ground beneath her, deciding when would be the best time to jump off, and making sure also that she wouldn't land on anything.
Then she glanced back at him, returning the smile. "I have... three brothers, and one sister, and I was the official babysitter. It's a relief not to have to do that anymore, though I guess I didn't really have anything better to do..." She laughed quietly as she looked back towards the ground again.

Shojuto nodded his head in agreement as well. "Ya, it is pretty fun. But, although me and Kietaru are twins, since we're opposite gender, it's not hard to tell us apart at all. Also, she's a little bit shorter than me, has a bit lighter skin, and her hair is almost down to her butt." He responded, a smile on his face.
"Ya, it's always just been me and Kietaru all of our lives, but I've always just had this need to protect her from anything and everything. I guess it just comes with the teritory of being a brother." He let out a quiet laugh. "But you're so nice, and fun to talk to. Not to mention pretty. I would have thought that you'd have a big group of friends, and a boyfriend or something along those lines." Shojuto said, his head tilted slightly as he looked at her.

Mizuki listened quietly as he spoke about his sister, smiling slightly to herself. But at his mention of friends or a boyfriend, she frowned very slightly. Though she was slightly embarassed from the compliments, she didn't let it show. "Well, you've already heard about some issues I had where my tail popped out during a check out line..." she began with a small laugh.
"It happened at school a couple times. My best friend kinda... turned on me and started spreading rumors. That's when people started calling me a monster. Needless to say, I've never had a boyfriend. Besides, if I get into any situations like that, romantic ones I mean, I freak out and sprout wings or something." She laughed again, shaking her head slightly, and then glanced at him. "What about you?" she asked curiously.

Shojuto listened to Mizuki intentively, and thought for a moment when she'd finished. "Well, it seems to me, not a lot of people from your hometown are very good at the 'never judge a book by it's cover' concept. It's just a magic power, it should be praised, not made fun of. It's such an amazing feat, people should idolize you, not be afraid of you."
His eyes widened as he listened to her story, he had to keep from letting his jaw drop in disgust. "I don't think people give you enough credit. I think you're a great person, you're really, original. Like I said, people should respect that, not call you a monster. I for one would have no problem with dating someone that sprouts wings at will, or even sometimes when they cant control it. But, I guess that's just my opinion."
Shojuto tilted his head slightly. "No, unfortunatly, I haven't gotten close enough to a girl to be able to get a girlfriend. Basically my only friend in life had been my sister. Other then that either people are scared of me, or think I'm a freak because I'm half demon. It's never really made sence to me why people judge other people by what they look like, or their backrounds."

Mizuki watched him as he spoke, much more relieved than she appeared to be. It was really great to have someone other than immediate family to hang out with, and she was very glad he didn't mind about her powers either. She laughed a bit when he said she should be idolized and shook her head. "I don't know about that," she said, shaking her head, and then paused again as he mentioned having no trouble dating. "Are you hinting at something...?" she grinned, sticking her tongue out. She wasn't being serious, but part of her was curious for a reply.
Then she fell silent again to listen to him speak again. She frowned, watching the ground for a moment as she continued swinging back and forth. "I don't know why people are like that either," she mumbled, but then glanced back up at him. "But I've already said that I think your being a demon is really cool! And the past is the past, so you shouldn't have to worry about it, and others shouldn't worry about it either. Especially because it's none of there busines."

Shojuto winked at Mizuki jokingly, he didn't want to give her the wrong impression, not that he wasn't interested. But he knew as well as anyone else, that jumping into a relationship was a bad idea. "Well, I'm saying that I'd be more then happy to date someone like you. I think you're a great person. And if we got to know eachother even more. Well..I guess I'm just saying that you're really cool and I think that you'd make anybody a great girlfriend."
Letting a smile spread across his face yet again, he responded. "Well, I'm glad somebody actually thinks that my being a demon isn't freakish and horrifying. You'd be surprised by how many people I've met that have asked why my eyes are red, then screamed and ran away when they found out."

Mizuki nodded her head, a faint pink spreading across her cheeks. "Ah well... thank you!" she laughed, releasing the chain of the swing and instead hooking her arm around it so she could rub sheepishly at the back of her head and still not fall. She wasn't used to compliments, but she was finding they felt pretty good. She wasn't sure if she should believe them or not. After sixteen years of being put down, it was somewhat hard for her to. But she didn't push the matter and simply moved on to what he said next.
She laughed, grinning again. "Well, when I saw your red eyes, I was shocked but in a good way. I was trying not to ask, but I couldn't help it. I'm just glad you didn't get mad when I did. Though... I think it's safe to say my friends would have fled crying to their mommies." She wrinkled her nose as she turned back to look in front of herself again, hand once more on the swing's chain. "I think it's amazing, after living in a humans only town all my life. This school is really great." She paused, as a sudden thought occurred to her. "I still haven't met a vampire though."

Shojuto noticed Mizuki blushing, and began blushing a little himself. "You're welcome." He said quietly. Not knowing whether or not to carry on, he simply dropped this subject as well, still not wanting to make Mizuki uncomfortable in anyway, just in case he was embarrassing her or something by bombarding her with compliments.
"I dont mind when people ask about my eyes. It's only when they flip out when I tell them that the reason they're that colour is because I'm a demon. I guess it's too much for some people." He let out a laugh. "Ya, we'll meet one eventually. I promise."

Mizuki shrugged. "Some people just aren't..." She paused, looking for the word. "...open minded? Yeah, maybe... Some people aren't open minded at all and if someone's different from them, then they spaz and cast them out of everything. It's nice to see this place is different though." She stopped then, glancing at him. "K! I'm blaming you if we don't find one then," she laughed sticking her tongue out again.
She continued swinging back and forth, trying to reach the point where she'd go parallel with the ground. She was coming somewhat close, but wasn't quite there yet. Her hair had fallen out of the ribbon, which she was now holding, and was flying all around her face. She ignored it though, as she continued going.

Shojuto nodded in agreement. "True..but ya, this school is really open minded, the students here are so different. It's likt the community is it's own multi culteral club." He said, giving out a small laugh. "Alright, if we don't meet one, you can blame me." He gave her a wink, and stuck out his tongue at her as well.
Still allowing himself to swing higher and higher, Shojuto decided to jump off last minute, once the swing reached a good height. Waiting for a moment until he reached the top, he let go of the chains and launched himself forward, landing on the ground feet first and knees bent. He stood up straight and looked back at Mizuki. "Where do you want to go next?"
[sorry that took so long. i had to have dinner, then empty the dishwasher and vacuum]
