"Whoever jumped out of the hole was no samurai. I'm not even sure it was human," Xi' told Runa, as he helped her up the rope. Soon enough, she was at the top with the old man. "Come on, Takara, you next," he said as he looked at her.

"Thank-you Xi", I said softly and then watched as he turned around to leave.I felt my head spinning even more so and could barely stand up straight. I stuggled to walk over to the wall and leaned aginst it. I smiled slightly, sleep...just needed a little sleep....I looked to Takara, "Where is our room again....we should get cleaned up and rest....", I said and stood up straight ready to follow her, I felt like I could pass out right then and there but I had to stay strong. I then followed her to the room.

I noded my head, but quickly stopped as it sent the room spinning once more. "Yes...", I said softly and followed her. From behind her, I saw the blood on her head and my eyes widened. I followed her closely just incase she passed out....I now had to be strong for her....I couldn't pass out....not now.....not until we were bandaged. I looked down to my wrists they were in bad shape. I then put a hand to the back of my head and felt the lump and quickly pulled my hand down. I continued to follow Takara though it was if I was in a daze.

I held tightly to the rail of the stairs. "Yah....just out of shape", I said jokingly and laughed a bit taking deep breaths. I smiled when we reached the top of the stairs, and then started down the hallway. How come I didn't think this would be that long of a walk, I thought as I continued to push myself towards the room.

I watched as she ran back, worried I followed her a bit. I didn't see her fall but all of the sudden I heard a loud crashing noise. I went quickly to see what it was. My eyes widened in horror as I saw Takara at the bottom of the stairs, lying on the ground. "NO!" I cried and rushed down the stairs kneeling at her side. "Why'd you....why'd you run back....", I said softly. "I would've gone done.....". I sighed not really knowing what to do.

I waited I would have to carry her up to the room and get her bandadged up. I sat at her side for a moment before slowly I got up and went and got the door key quickly and then came back to her side. I took a deep breath before I bent down besides her.

Standing upon a steaming smokestack, Jian glared down upon the tiny inn, contemplating upon his recent actions.

"Saving that girl's life...was it wise...?" Glaring at his hands, he gripped them tightly. "Keeping Kang's spirit high and his meaning intact...I don't know no what came over me...No matter...As soon has he heals and I return his spear to him...I'll rightfully claim what is mine..."

After a couple of minutes I stood back up. I looked around and found a bowl of water and dipped a piece of cloth into it and then laid it onto her forhead. I then went and sat down. I bandaged both of my wrists up, though it took a while to do so. I felt the room beginning to spin once more. I felt sick as well, I put my hand on my head. What had the samurau done.....poisen! I could remember, I smiled but my head kept spinning. I looked up at Takara....great we both have head injuries....hers is worse than mine....I think its the posien that makes it all worse....I had to get an antidot....but how. If we could get back to the oasis quickly Chan could tell me what to take or if I could find a healer, but I was so tired. I got up slowly and wrote a note for Takara.
Going to find a blacksmith, I will be back soon, I grabbed the ore that she had and put it into my pouch and then left. I locked the door then walked slowly down the stair and out into the street. I left my hand on my head, all I could think if was getting back right now, back to Takara quickly and back to the oasis. I kept my mind on that and off the pain as I wandered down the street.
