The Angel was about to hug Yoru when he realised: "I'll need to walk there, since I can't teleport there myself - I need to exercise, apparently, and walking or jogging home will help. So could we walk there, just this once?"

Nathan frowned. "Huh? I'm fine...oh. I'm swaying aren't I? I didn't realise, but I'm sure I can walk there if I try..." he smiled weakly.

"Alright. Just let me know when you are getting tired." Yoru walked with him. They left and Yoru made sure to lock the door before continuing.

Nathan was fine all the way down the stairs. He even managed close to the half-way mark, but then he had to lean against Yoru's shoulder, eyes shutting.
"I think... I'd like to get into bed... now. Please?"

Yoru held Nathan close. He nodded and he spread his dark wings and wrapped them around them. "I shall take you home now?" They vanished in an instant and were in the house in a matter of seconds. Yoru picked Nathan up and carried him to his own bed. "There now. You simply rest for as long as you need to."

Nathan smiled, kissed the air - thinking it was Yoru's cheek - and fell asleep instantly.

Yoru sat by his side and watched him sleep. He knew now that no matter what he had to protect Nathan. Even if there was a chance of bringing Mao back, Yoru secretly wished that Nathan would choose him over the other.
