Marluxia looked at her sorrowfully. " I don't want to waste whatever you call 'redemption' alone in an empty castle. That's worse of a fate than the emptiness when I died, because then I couldn't feel it. Would you spend years there, rotting away, alone? With nothing but the walls and the rooms for company? I can't go back there." his expression changed. "As for second chances, I don't deserve one. None of us do." he said

When the lift reached the top and they all climbed off, Jack told them all to grab hold of the transpooker and shout 'BOO!" when hey got where they needed to be. Lakayna did grab it along with the others. They were transported to in front of town hall in Guillotine Square. Along with many of the others, the lavendernette shouted "BOO!"

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé gazed at Marluxia with a look of cool indifference though there was a bit of pity that shone in her brilliant blue eyes. "I'll never go back to Castle Oblivion for as long as I exist." She said quietly. "I won't go back to what was once my cage." Naminé gave thought over his words. So he wouldn't go back to Castle Oblivion. And he didn't believe that any of them deserved second chances.
"I don't believe that to be true." Naminé said. Her eyes lowered the flower in front of him and with a soft light, her sketchbook and pencil appeared in her hand. She sketched intently, quickly, and in a few moments a flower identical to the one in front of Marluxia popped up on the ground in front of Naminé. "Everyone deserves a second chance. It's what they do with it that defines how much they've changed." The girl's sketchbook dissapeared and she ran her hand along the flowers silky petals in front of her. "I'm willing to help you in any way I can, Marluxia. Because I believe that you are going to make the most of this chance. And if I'm wrong... I'll deal with the consequences when the time comes."

"I'd kill them. I'd kill you. And you said I was lying, yet pity me now. Are you my jailer, or my counselor? Or still the victim? I really...have no idea now. Even if you pretend to trust me, the others don't even give that formality. I just have to wait, and try to enjoy, if I can, the last minutes until I'm sent back to where I came. You said you were on vacation? From where? And how do I fit into this?" he asked her. He almost believed that the girl felt sorry. but that couldn't be right.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé couldn't help it. She flinched when Marluxia said that he'd kill them and her as well. The petite blonde stared down at the flower she'd created, keeping silent as she listened to him. "I never said you were lying. I... I didn't know what to think when I saw you again. What was I suppose to think? I was scared. Of course I wouldn't believe you. After everything you did to me in Castle Oblivion, how could I trust you right off the bat? Trust is something you need to earn, Marluxia. It's not something that's just thrown out to all those who seek it." The petite blonde said gently. Naminé sighed and looked up at him. "I never said I was on vacation. This isn't vacation. This is my second chance. My chance to be my own person and I intend to live it to its full extent. I... don't know how you fit into all of this. But like I said, I can help you find a way to fit in. I'm offering you a chance at life, no strings attatched. Are you going to take my help or walk away from it?" Naminé asked him. Looking away from him she gazed back at the flower. "I honestly don't even know why I'm helping you. But I feel like I should. I can't just leave you to figure everything for yourself."

"Look. Even if you accept me, the others never will. If they don't kill me, then I'll just be living on meaninglessly. I can't go back with you, can I? And I can't stay here. If this is a 'chance at life,' then I guess I'd take it, but there are strings. Live hated, die alone...." He sighed. "I just don't want that. What kind of a chance is that supposed to be?"

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterAs soon as Jack and his many friends appeared in the town and screamed boo, the citizens jumped and yelped, shrieking in surprise and fear. Jack let out a wicked cackle, releasing the Transpooker. Once the others had regained composure, the skeleton made a large, swooping bow to their applause. ”That was horrible, Jack!” they cried happily. ”Absolutely terrifying!” He laughed and nodded, thanking them. ”Happy Halloween, everyone!” he shouted, making them cheer loudly. He felt better already, knowing that Halloween all over the universe was becoming more fun and spooky. He gestured to the Transpooker, making a scary face. ”I bring you the Transpooker! Who knows who and where someone will pop up and scare you right out of your skin! Or… bones, if that’s what you have!” The audience cheered again, then began exchanging candy and scaring one another. Jack turned back to the visitors to Halloween Town, wearing a large smile. ”Thank you so much, all of you. This has been spooktacular! Come now, let’s have some fun!”
Sora laughed as the residents of Halloween Town jumped at their arrival. Things had been a huge success. He watched as Jack gave his little spiel about the Transpooker, and then everyone proceeded to doing regular Halloween activities. Jack thanked them, and the brunette nodded. ”No problem, Jack,” he told him. ”I think I speak for everybody when I say this is really fun!” He laughed brightly, temporarily forgetting the troubles that they’d faced back in the remains of Oogie’s Manor. The Pumpkin King went off to go socialize with some of his neighbors, so Sora turned to one of his other friends. Kairi was still by him. She looked like she was having some real fun, which made his smile grow. He was so thankful that things were easier between them. He knew that he had to fix Roxas and Naminé’s relationship if he really wanted things to go back to normal, but for now they could be happy with what they had. ”You want some candy?” he asked her briefly. Absently, he took her wrist in his hand and pulled her down the steps into the crowd. He ran into the vampires, and they were handing out candied brains. Unfortunately, they were real brains. They asked him if he and Kairi wanted any, but he politely refused, resisting the urge to wrinkle in disgust. Finally, after similar encounters with other citizens, he found someone who was handing out regular candy corn. He got two packs and handed one to Kairi, then started snacking on the treats. Hikari folded her arms and averted her eyes from Alexander and her brother when the Nobody asked if he really had a sister. She was ashamed enough from having to admit that she had a daughter. "Half sister," she corrected Alexander. "You have a different mother. I was able to get away long enough to hide her away here. Xehenort thinks that she didn't survive," she explained. She then lifted her head and looked at Riku, looking like she wanted to cry but was holding back. "I don't need anyone's sympathy. What happened happened and I did what I needed to do. The last thing I need is everyone to feel sorry for me," she said after everyone left to tend to Halloween with Jack Skellington. She then looked forward and walked away from the two males, along with Marluxia and Namine and headed for the lift. Axel was having a blast. After yelling 'boo!' when they appeared in the square, the pyro summoned his Chakrams and flung them into the air, making a show of his own making shapes with fire and smoke. The flames danced around him as he yo-yo'd his chakrams frighteningly close to the spectators. When he was finished, he bowed to the applauding crowd as he dismissed his weapons, laughing loudly. "We gotta come here more often!" he grinned, looking at Lakayna. He then looked around and grabbed a Deadly Nightshade bloom and held it out to her, bowing. "Flower for my favorite dragon?" he asked, his fangs flashing.Roxas hardly moved when everyone else left for the festivities. He remembered Marluxia alright, though he had no bad feelings for him. He did work with him once upon a time, after all. He stood next to Namine, believing this to be a chance to be closer to the Memory Witch. "You don't have to be hated, Marluxia. You, me and Axel used to work together, remember? I mean, as long as you're not helping Xemnas, then I don't see why not?" he said mildly, looking at Namine as a corner of his mouth twitched upward and looked back at the Graceful Assassin.

~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander shook his head at Hikari. "You are not the one I feel sympathy for, she is." He told Hikari as he jerked his head towards his half sister. "What happened to you was terrible, but you are strong enough to handle such horrible things. But, a child being forced away from their mother almost from birth is far worse." The nobody looked down as his amber eyes glowed. "I will not forgive my father for this transgression. it is yet another reason why his existence needs to end." Alexander's tone had been hras as he spoke to Hikari.
However, when the boy turned towards his sister the anger in his face disipated and was replaced with what looked like happiness. It would be crazy for Alexander to think he truly felt anything for the child, but it seemed like he actually did in that moment. He took a step towards th girl and knelt in front of her. He then opened the palm of his hand, causing tendrils of both light and darkness to form there. The tendrils looped around each other until they formed a heart shaped loop with one side black and the other white. The energies the solidified, forming a pendant and chain. Alexander picked the necklace up in his hands and put it around Shock's neck. "A little charm to remember your brother by. I'll be back to see you again. You better remain safe until that time comes." He told the girl with a small smile before leaning forward and lightly kissing the cheek of the mash she wore.
The Heir of Xemnas then stood back up and followed after Hikari. Once he had caught up to her he placed his hand on her shoulder, trying to stop her from walking any further away. "I'm not going to pretend that I understand everything about what happened, but I am here for you Hikari. Also, we need to talk when we get back to the islands. There is much I need to talk to you about."

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé frowned down at the flower she'd created as she listened to Marluxia. "I... don't accept you. I just don't... hate you I guess? I'm indifferent towards you, that's all." The petite blonde told him at a shrug. After mulling over her thoughts on his later comments she sighed. He was right. Even if she did end up accepting him, the others would still be very, very wary of Marluxia. "You don't have to live alone or die hated. You could start a new life in a new world. Your chance is what you make it. Stop looking at the negative point of view and sulking and try to come up with some answers of your own!" Naminé scolded him, her tone soft though holding an edge now. She couldn't help him if he basically refused to be helped.
To her surprise, it wasn't Marluxia's voice she heard after her own, but a different one. One she knew very well. Naminé glanced up from her seat on the ground, her crystal eyes falling upon the sight of Roxas. A smile tilted up her lips, happiness causing her eyes to glitter. He hadn't left her, then? He'd stayed behind? She was semi-glad her best friend had stayed, though she'd wished to do this alone. Because Roxas had been a part of the Orgnization it was different than if someone else who wasn't in the Orginization had stayed behind with her. Listening to her best friend, she bit her lower lip lighly but couldn't help but smile when he glanced at her, his own lips pulled up. Both the blondes turned their eyes to Marluxia and Naminé sighed. "You're right about not being able to just fit in with our group, Marluxia. Over time, maybe. But I don't know. You've always done things to suit your own ambitions." Reaching up her hand grasped Roxas' and she gave it a light pull, signaling him to sit down beside her.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart The Princess smiled and laughed as she watched the the citizens of Halloween Town jump, yelp, and shriek in surprise and fear. It looked like they had scared them! Once the towns people regained composure they applauded Jack, and the Pumpkin King thanked them. Jack then talked about the Transpooker causing everybody to cheer again. After that everyone began exchanging candy and scaring one another. Jack then turned a back to the group of friends and thanked them for everything, and telling them to have some fun. Kairi smiled up at the Pumpkin King and said "You're welcome Jack. And Sora is right, this is really fun!"After that Jack walked off to socialize with others, and the crimsonette was unsure what to do next. She then heard Sora, who was still next to her, ask her if she wanted some candy. "Sure. Some candy sounds good," the red head replied and before she knew it, Sora grabbed her wrist and led her into the crowd. As the brunette pulled her along they ran into some vampires who were handing out candied brains. Kairi realized they were real, and fought the urge to gag as she and the Keybearer politely refused. The two of them ran into similar encounters, but Sora was finally able to find someone who was handing out regular candy corn. He got two packs and handed one to Kairi. "Thanks Sora," the Princess smiled as she took the bag and joined him in snacking on the sweet treats. That was when the crimsonette realized that this was the first time she had been alone with the Keyblade Master since the carnival. She began to feel nervous, remembering the last time they had been alone and how she had messed up everything. But she wasn't going to let that happen again. The red head thought to herself, "You're being stupid Kairi. This is the first time in a while that you've been able to be with Sora like this. Just be yourself, and you won't screw anything up. Things can finally go back to the way they were. Just talk to him like how you always used to." The Princess took a deep breath, looked at Sora, and giggled, "Good thing you were finally able to find some normal candy, huh? I was afraid we weren't going to get any candy at all unless we settled for candied brains or eyeball lollipops." Kairi said the last part with a look of disgust. Her smiled returned though as she said to Sora with a laugh, "Aside from their main choices in candy, I really like this world. You must be very happy to be visiting it again."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

He sighed. "You know what? I don't care anymore. There's a party going on, and even Sora can't stop me from getting some sea salt ice cream now. Come on. If you guys are meant to babysit me, then it's best you come. Anyway, this is my first party, and I'm sure they're not meant for people to be alone.Let's get going." He said, and got up, and walked away. He thought that he heard them behind him, but honestly he didn't realty mind. Seeing Axel showing off, he wanted to prove that he was SO MUCH better. He stirred up flower petals of all kinds and colors, and made them dance eerily, skeletons, dragons, ghosts, you name it. He enjoyed the crowd, and the way that they admired him. Finally he stopped, wanting to find out what else went on here. He grinned. Namine and them were probably mad now. He was in front of a booth with mirrors on the sides, and fixing his hair while he waited for them to catch up.

A wide smile spread across the lavendernette's lips when the townsfolk said thy'd really liked the scare. Then Axel started to show off with his fire and chakrims, making the dragon girl's smile spread so wide her lips wer pulled back, her fangs shining in the moonlight. Laughter escaped Lakayna's lips at the site of this as well. When Axel finally stopped showing off, he turned to Lakayna and bowed to her, presenting her with a flower as black as night.
"For me?" she asked, gentley taking the bloom. Lakayna tucked it into her hair. "Such a gentleman," she added soon after. Lakayna curtsied to Axel. She and the pyro walked away from the center of attention together. "This is so fun," she said.

There are few who'd deny At what I do I am the best For my talents are renowned f a r_ a n d_ w i d e... I, Jack {Skellington} The Pumpkin King & Sora The Keyblade MasterSora grinned as Kairi thanked him and started eating the candy corn. He felt a lot better inside now. Things were going back to normal between them, it seemed. Still, it somewhat bothered him when he thought about the festival. What had happened? It had been such a great day, and he’d never had so much fun in his life. Why did things grow so awkward all of a sudden between them? He knew it was because he liked her in the way he did. As Lakayna and Naminé pointed out, there were things that needed to be said that hadn’t been. Was that the reason it was weird to be around the crimsonette sometimes? What would happen if he told her how he felt? Would things just get more awkward? He didn’t want that. He wanted things to stay the same, but he couldn’t control how he felt about her.
Sora just laughed lightly as Kairi told him that she thought this place was really cool, despite the fact that the citizens had a terrible choice in candy. He was still thinking about that night at the festival. It had been so little that had thrown their friendship out of whack. She’d held his hand and had been about to say something… what had it been? All these weeks that had passed, he’d hoped that it was that she wanted them to be more than friends. But how could he ask that question…? It was beginning to get awkward again. He stared away from Kairi for a moment and thought. I have to do something, he thought to himself. I’m not going to let things get ruined again! ”Uh, yeah, I do really like being here again,” he answered her question quickly and distractedly. He swallowed, then finally locked eyes with her. ”So… what have you been up to lately? I haven’t really seen much of you since… a while.” Stupid, stupid, stupid! he thought angrily. Don’t bring that up! You’ll ruin everything! ”What I mean is… Uh… What do I mean?” He frowned slightly at himself. He was a bit clueless as of what to say. ”I… I missed talking to you.” ((No Jack. Nothing to do with him, really.))When it comes to s u r p r i s e s In the moonlit night, I excel without ever even trying.
