moonlightwolf111 Okay so I'm not the only one that likes rap, but people at school treat it like it's the ONLY type of music. If I'm listening to 30 Seconds to Mars or even Skillet I'm hounded on about it. >.< Rap is just noise that gives me headaches. I'm sorry, but I just had to laugh at that. I listen to primarily Country Western. Any time someone learns about my choice of music I either get treated like I am the anti-Christ or like I'm possessed. I only get crap about music when I tell people that rap isn't music. Rap is screaming into a microphone about drugs, shooting up schools or hospitals, and raping or being raped. Some of my fondest memories just happen to involve pointing out certain rap and 'modern rock' songs are remakes of country songs.

I'm a mix of music tastes though Country (Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, Trace Atkins, etc) is and always will be my favorite.

I prefer the slightly older ones. Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Brooks & Dunn, and so on.

I can't pick one that I love more than others. xD Pet Peeve: Scene kid pictures. >.< They just annoy me and are the same person in almost every RP. That and using Celeberties(Know that's spelt wrong). It just... means you can't have those people mentioned because you are using them for your character's image.

Well in the spirit of this hollow shell of what used to be a holiday with meaning, Gaia also seeks to line its pockets by selling senseless baubles.

Yeah it is... -_- Though what I don't like (Can't say I hate then I'd just be exaggerating) more than Valentine's Day, are the people who say they hate it because of its' "Icky, lovey-dovey atmosphere, and the over cheery people." -_- That to me is not a good enough reason to dislike the holiday, and is just childish. Atleast be happy for everyone else who are enjoying themselves, for one thing love comes in many different forms- Even if I've never had a crush I still can honestly say I know love, my family and friends especially taught me enough of that- and it's not always about couples, there are other people one is associated with in their life, and if you can't see that well then maybe it's time to splash the sleepies out with some ice cold water. To sum it up, just be happy if not for everyone else but atleast yourself, and be grateful. But for people who say they don't like Valentine's Day because of it's over-commercialization I raise my glass of sparkling cider to you. And to those who say why save your love and affection on Valentine's Day when you're supposed to cherish those close to you every day and not simply on holidays- I take my black cap off and salute/bow to you with my upmost respect. Valentine's Day is a day of not just "love" but comradery.

I only hate it because I get bad luck around the holidays. I've already been hit with it early and I hope that's all there is and not bad luck in my relationship.
I also hate it because this is the time of the year I try to diet then I go to the store and all of the chocolates that I love are half priced. I jumped on the heart shaped box of Reese's cups and the Ferrero Rocher box, FERRERO ROCHER! Yes I had to do that in all caps. You know how much those cost for a regular box? And it was the assorted one. I grabbed them like a crack fiend with an all access pass to the NYPD drug evidence locker.
But I do hate the pressure that this day puts on people. Poor guys are pressured by the media to be the 'perfect' boyfriend/husband and get jewels, flowers, and even a damn car. And women are being brainwashed into thinking that they are suppose to expect such things as if they are owed it.
V-day was a day a guy by the name of Valentine was martyred. Or like most holidays is a Christian one that took over a pagan one in hopes of converting which was again taken over by big companies to make more money.

Well, while we are all complaining and whining about things. =3 You know what's even worst than that Bern? Prom. Frickin' Prom. Girls have no idea that most times, it's NOT like in the movies. No one is dressed that nice, no one's date goes that well, and no high school boy can afford to buy you two to three thousand dollars worth of evening. And don't even think I am joking. My girlfriend at the time, she wanted me to empty my whole bank account for a single evening. Or else she was going to go with someone else who could pay. No joke. It took a huge series of fights to make her realize that, what she had envisioned in her head, was not how it was going to be. Because that just wasn't possible.

My new pet peeve: School dances. Yeah I had fun, but they had no good music. The only dances I knew were the cupid shuffle, electric slide, and cha cha slide. >.< Not to mention that by the end of the dance I was having trouble hearing the rest of the night because to hear somebody that was almost right next to you, you had to piratically shout at the person.

It took a huge series of fights to make her realize that, what she had envisioned in her head, was not how it was going to be. Because that just wasn't possible. I've been and it was a bore! I don't know how or why people would spend so much money on it. And girls should be able to rent dresses like the guys can rent a tux. But really a limo, flowers, dinner, the prom, then the after prom crap. No thanks. I wasn't expecting much, I didn't even want to go. Spirited Away had just been released on DVD and I wanted to stay home and crack that baby open. But I was forced to go by my mother with her insistence that if I didn't go I would end up regretting it. So I went, danced for three songs, took my prom pics with my best friend then we left to walk around and eat ice cream before heading to his place to watch Spirited Away. The most so called exciting thing that happened at that prom in my sad close minded school was that one girl brought her girlfriend and kissed her...big whoop. And it was rumored that some girl had a gang bang in the basement. Oh did I forget to mention that prom was held in a church hall usually used for weddings and wedding receptions? I wish that the gay club was established at that time, watching a guy dressed as Cher and lip-syncing her greatest hits would have been 1,000 times more entertaining. Actually it is. Go to a drag queen pageant once if you're okay with it once, worth the price of admission.
