Serithia walks into her common room with a slight smile on her face. It's been so long, she thinks. "How is everyone?" she asks, "Any new faces I've yet to meet?"

Serithia walks over to Katie with a "Nice to meet you," as she gently pets Genie. "I absolutely love cats," she says with a smile. Hearing Rayne she turns and her smile brightens "It's good to be back," she replies. Turning towards Bella she says "No kidding, it's been too long." Serithia sits down on the armrest next to Katie, absent mindedly petting Genie as she gets out her homework. "Where did this lovely creature get the name Genie?" she asks, while arranging books and parchment with one hand, the other still running over the cat on Genie's lap.

*Summer looked up from the crackling fire, and turned her head to see a girl walk in and introduce herself as Serithia.*
Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Summer, and I'm a first year. What year are you?
*She smiles. She hadn't expected anyone else to be joining them, but was glad she was here. Her thoughts were scrambled however as she played with the necklace that she had received only hours ago...*

Serithia looks up when she hears a first year talking to her. "Hello Summer, I'm in my fourth year," she says. "What is the necklace from?" she asks, the fiddling drawing her eye.

It's...kind of a long story, still in the making. But it's a family heirloom that started with the first Westyn.

"I got her from a Genie. She was very sly, and I tricked her. She gave me a choice of items, and I chose the free cat. Now I realize that a free cat is not free," Katie says, chuckling.

Well, for the longest time we were only Slytherins, unless of course you attended one of the other wizarding schools, but then my great great great uncle married a young Ravenclaw woman, and now my family goes between the two. I know it shouldn't work like that, like you are in your house because of your blood-line, but for my family we have never had a Ravenclaw until he married her, or any other house in our family. It's very strange. This necklce came from Salazar Slytherin himself. He produced it as a gift for the woman in his life, and also as a part of a four-piece power source for all of Hogwarts founders.
