Yokai all packed up, ready to go, quitely walked out the village leaving a note behind. It said:

Dear all fellow leaf shinobi,
I am going on a journey for now so please be safe. And Hanzo, please count me off the attack (you now what I mean wink ) I am sorry Lady Reiko for leaving without your permission but since you weren't there, I couldn't wait. And everybody, please, and I mean PLEASE protect my little brother from and harms done. I ask of you this.

Syn still has the clone go after teddy. The clone gets to a certain part and can't go any farther. The clone comes back to syn after about 25 minutes.
