Uh.... hrm might depend. I dunno what the going price is of clays and if you'd be needing any other supplies like glaze or armature wire and such. >.>; I'd say given that you can buy clay in large chunks and keep it moist until you're ready to bake it, it essentially evens out with the (generally) low cost of drawing.
Is this for school? Don't they have most of the supplies for you? D: My art classes in high school had like, less than $1 per student to spend on supplies but I didn't have to actually buy anything other than a sketchbook thankfully ;3;

yea its for school, for the project. i thought just to save time, but make it look like i spent days on it,i was gonna go with like modeling colored clay....the kind like play-dough.
the school only supplies us with books, rules, teachers, chairs, and air conditioning that doesn't work.....everly thing else we gotta buy...even our art, we gotta buy, cause if we dont, we cant get it back from the teacher....
