Mitsuko went back to the first Hokage to received further instructions, sometimes the First would be instructing something else, but she would only be able to see the person as a pillar of light. She found that she could only see who she wishes to see, another phenomenon of the afterlife.
"Now, you are speeding up the process of growing with this technique, not creating life. But that does not mean that you cannot control how the plant grows. You cannot control it perfectly, but you can make it grow cluttered to make a barrier or to wind around solid objects to bind the opponent. The offensive properties of wood is limited, but you can use it to many other uses then the normal elements."

Mitsuko imagined that there was a gigantic rock floating over head. Gravity didn't necessarily apply, so it was weird to have a large floating rock overhead. Mitsuko then performed the secret tree technique and made the huge vine/tree crawl up and onto the surface of the rock. Then she sent a signal for the tree to change strategy and it started winding around the rock.
Mitsuko then made the tree retract and the rock was slowly pulled down to the floor, still floating. Mitsuko made the rock disappear and made the tree grow into a cluster of vines. Now she had a tough shield in front of her and she would be safe from anything except fire.

The tree sprouts from a tiny seed. As long as it has a chakra source it will keep growing. The spped it grows at is about one metre per second, a significant rate and quite terrifying considering the normal rate at which trees grow. Mitsuko wondered if such a technique will be useful to her. She was dead, and the Hokage said that there is a slim chance you might be reicarnated or ressurrected.
The Hokage himself has been out of the afterlife once or twice to fight for people. Though he would be back soon after because the battle was usually a desperate one and both sides were usually annhilated. Mitsko hoped to be reincarnated, because her body was destroyed when she was killed.

Mitsuko watched her tree as it spiralled up towards the sky next to the Hokage's tree. The Hokage nodded and congratulated her. But there was a certain hardness in his expression that made her uneasy. "There is no guarantee that you will be able to retain this wood style technique when you return to the other world, the operation of things is different in the afterlife, and there is no telling how the techique can change in its complications."
Mitsuko nodded, but was not discouraged. She was dead, and will probably be dead forever, but she needs something to keep herself occupied. Since the afterlife is a river of silence, she needed a purpose. The Hokage sighed and noticed that she was still a bit too lively for a dead soul.

Nova appeared in the afterlife smiling, his body coarsing with chakra.
"So this is where the dead thrive, and 'live on' parsay."
Looking down at his body, he tried to actualize his location, his body's current condition, and if this existance made any altercations. Carefully feeling his tendons and veins in his arm, he clentched his hand. This act symbolized his grasp of live, and actualization to the new area. Next, he tested his feet; taking a step forward and back constantly to make sure he was moving properly.

Examining his gear, he noticed that his equipment was very shiney, and cutting edge as it was before. His satchels of various material, and anti-oxidents were carefully arranged in order in his belt clip. This aunterage of weaponry reminded him of batman's utility belt, and he cared for it so. Nova felt rather silly about having his weapon's match his attire as well, but in fact, he was a damn metro.
"Sound. Echo, echo. Sound."
The vibrations carried through the air happily, and this strange dimension of the afterlife seemed to follow laws no different on Earth.
"I wonder. Am I in heaven... or hell?"
Nova turned and saw Oroichimaru farther away. His question was answered.

Nova took a step forward and slung his pack around and removed some items from within it. Carefully arranging them, he placed a bowl of ramen, a candy bar, and silver tip, black ring knife with a strange insignia running down the blade. Lifting up the odd weapon, he sliced open some ingredients to create his meal with.
"Now where is that darn recipe. My stomach is killing me."
Scuffling through the other items in the pack, he began to toss random things aside. Including a small panda bear doll, that had no explanation as of now.

Soon, he came across a billfold paper stuffed inside a black handkerchief with silver embroidery.
"Aha! Here it is, my recipe!"
Nova ate the prepackaged bowl of ramen first before continuing on to actually read the recipe. His taste buds were enchanted by the nice taste the ramen left in his mouth. Carefully, he ate every noodle and drank every drop of soup. After he slurped up the last peices of the soft noodles, he licked off the extra taste from his lips.

"Alright! Now for that recipe!!!" Nova went back and reached around to see if he could find it, and once he did, he unravelled the paper, reading it's containtments. Chicken and Egg Soboro * 2 cups Japanese Rice
* 1/2 lb. ground chicken/beef
* (3 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp sugar, 3 tbsp mirin, 1 tsp ginger juice)
* 4 eggs
* (1 tbsp sugar, 1tbsp mirin, 1/2 tsp salt) After reading the recipe to the bottom, he grabbed his other bag to pull out some nice food ingredients that would satisfy his hunger. 5/10

Searching through his hypercube bag, he pulled out ingredients one by one. First he lugged out a large bag of Japenese Rice, sticky and serene to one another. He made a small incision in the back with the blade with insignia across it, and then he shoveled out a bundle with a small scoop made of plastic.
"Oh boy, do I love making food."
The grains of the white rice sprinkled into a small cooker that Nova ran on a flick of his flame finger.

The rice cooked nicely under the nice flame, and Nova's appetite was going to get the best of him if this kept at it. Shoveling a small couplet of rice in his mouth every few minutes, his hunger still remained adamant. Soon, he realized that he needed to replace the rice with more, and ended up using up the entire first bag. His nose tickled with the nice smell of the cooking, and was even further teased with the addition of sprinkling a special spice to the rice.
"Mmmm, I'm going to have a feast tonight."

When Yuri awoke he looked around the afterlife saying" Where the heck am I?" Yuri then reached into his weapon pouch to make sure he still had Neoshin's weaponry. Yuri then sighed with relief as he rose to his feet and looked around the after life and said" Oh...... I remember this place I came here a ton. This is where I learned half my jutsu and got my curse seal." Yuri then took a step forward slowly as the feeling of life had not been with him for quite sometime.

Yuri then looked around to see if his old friends were still in the afterlife. The first person who popped into his head was Makia who was the first hokage's best apprentice. If Makia was here he would be with him. Yuri then scratched his head thinking of where the first hokage usually was. As soon as Yuri remembered he began making his way over to the area which was the forest. Yuri hoped to see Makia or any of his other friends who had been here.

As Yuri got to the denser part of the forest he saw the first tied to a tree by snakes. Yuri then ran u pto him and shouted" First!" The first then shook his head and saw Yuri running towards him. Yuri then pulled out a kunai and cut the snakes. Yuir then said" How the heck did you get tied to a tree?" The first hokage said" Wait I'll tell you over lunch." Yuri then sat down as the first pulled out some sandwiches. Yuri took a bit out of it then stored it in his pouch thinking that it was diguisting and he would dispose of it as soon as possible.

The first said" Not long after you left trhings changed suddenly. Orochinmaru is now attacking us for the joy of his evil ways. At first we could stop him easy but every now and then he would decieve and defeat us." Yuri then said" What of Makia?" The first grunted as he said" He stepped back to life and left us behind I am sure he s very strong right now." Yuri nodded."Other than that things have been the same as always." The first said finishing up his sandwich.

Yuri then got up and bowed to the first and said" I thank you for the lunch. Good luck in your battles with Orochimaru." The fiurst the nsaid" God luck to what ever you're planning here in the afterlife and I don't doubt that Orochimaru will not attack you so watch out." Yuri nodded and walked out of the forest looking to the right and left to see if he was being stalked or snuck up on. Nyu then got a bit calmer as soon as he reached the plains because there wasn't any place anyone could hide.

Yuri then walked slowly feeling relaxed until something ruined the silence. YUri then heard a snake hiss." It's been a long time hasn't it?" Yuri turned and saw Orochimaru sitting on top of a rock as he said" Hello Yuri." Yuri then turned as his eyes widened he saw the fearsome shinobi who had almost destroyed konoha. Yuri then said" What do you want?"" What do you mean? Has that mark of mine not been helpful to you?" Yuri then placed his right hand behind his left shoulder so that it was on the mark.

Yuri said" Why did you give me this mark?" Orochimaru smrked as his toungue then came out of his mouth and swived back and fourth through the air. Orochimaru then laughed manioucly as he said" That seal I gave you it's time to put it to the test." Yuri stepped back as his eyes widened. Orochimaru then said" Here we go. Hidden snake hands!" As the last word aprted his mouth several snakes lashed out of his mouth and wetre aimed right at Yuri. Yuri the nswiftly dodged and watched as the snakes missed and crashed into the floor as it created a small crater in the ground.

Yuri was amazed by how powerfullly Orochimaru could use these jutsu. If Yuri kept dodgiing he would be hit eventually so he decided to take the offense. Yuri then formed two sets of hand seals and created a bubble of water. With his second set of hand seals Yuri then created a shark within it saying" Stalking wave." Then the floating bubble of water containing the shark flew over to Orochimaru and tried to eat him alive." Yuri knew that this would have little or no effect on Orochimaru but it was merely a distraction.
