"That's pretty much all there is to it really. Cause I think that people were saying the word 'mutt' long before were's came along into 'civilized society'. It's not like the word specifically singles us out negatively yanno? Though I think my dad's boyfriend calls him a Mutt and he doesn't mind in the least..." Faye pondered that for a moment and rubbed the back of her neck.

"I suppose people don't mind when a loved on does it?" Megan shrugged. In reality, it was more of a comment than an actual question. She fingered her neck a moment when Faye had bitten her, looking at her fingertips. It had stopped bleeding, or at least mostly.
((Sorry this took sooo long to reply to. D: Gah. I'm bad at that...Life caught up. Grades mostly. >_< ))

Faye looked at her innocently and put a finger to her lips with a tiny smile. "Should I lick it up again? It would be a pity to see you get blood on your clothes and make you dirty..."

Megan blinked and raised an eyebrow, then chuckled. "Is my blood that tastey that you would offer, or do you say that to everyone?"

Faye shook her head with a smile. "I don't drink human blood often. Sometimes from my family, but they're not human... for the most part. And what I have tasted from humans, they mostly taste... tainted. I think that's the best way to describe it. People going around putting funny things into their system, preservatives, drugs, even getting tatoos will make the blood taste different from normal."
She nodded knowledgably and patted down her dress as if looking for something. "Now that I'm thinking of it, I'll give you my address and the names of some of the places I do go to when I'm not home. You can always drop by at any time. Day or Night there's -always- someone up. More likely at Night than Day."

Megan couldn't help but chuckle. "I can see how that could be...Many people do weird things to themselves these days..." She shook her head slightly.
"And then, it would only be fair for me to do the same for you." She nodded, smiling slightly.

Faye smiled warmly at her, showing a bit of fang as she did so. She brought a hand up and twisted it in her ringlets, her fingernails flashing pale purple through the tresses.
"That would be lovely. Do you know of any good coffee houses? My friend was thinking of opening up a shop nearby to here, but he's more interested in a dance club than anything and I hate the way some of the men look at me..."

Faye could only smile and playfully hooked her arm in Megan's, giving her hand a small squeeze as she did so. "Then it's a date... just don't tell Xulu and everything's fine." She chuckled.

Megan laughed and leaned towards her. "Deal. And ooh, who's Xulu? Old boyfriend? Or perhaps not-so-secret stalker?" She teased, chuckling. "You don't have to answer, by the way."

"Not so secret stalker." Faye rolled her eyes with a smile. "He's harmless really, just persistent and annoying. It's rather sweet that he brings me flowers and helps me with chores and offers me blood... but I'm just not attracted to him at all. Which is a shame really cause he's a -wonderful- guy. Just don't tell him I said that, it'll spurn him on..."
The pale girl chuckled softly and put her face in her hands in embarressment.

Megan couldn't help but laughed. "Ah, I'm sorry. That's no fun! I promise not to tell him then." She winked. "I'm sure he'd be angry if he knew you went out on a date with someone else," she teased lightly, brushing bangs out of her face.

Faye gave a chuckle. "Well actually I've never been on a real date before. Never been interested in anyone. He'd be so happy that I'm finally opening my heart to someone that he'd pester me even more... I swear I need to find him someone nice..."

"Everyone I've gone out on a date with just wanted into my pants." Megan rolled her eyes. "As I found out, after a date or two. Eh." She shrugged, then waved her arm in the air. "I hate making the first move, but it usually happens." She looked at Faye, to judge her reaction. "Even with the girls, though they usually turned me down. And after that, most of the girls avoided me." She scoffed. "They're all afraid of the bi kids."
