Thanks! LHH, I hope your medical equipment training goes well...it reminds me of going to nursing conferences about women, it was interesting and boring at the same time! I wish I had photoshop so I could do the image thing..but sadly I don't and even if i did I don't know how to use it! sweatdrop I'm leaving in 10 minutes so I should go. I am so glad its friday but I'm bombarded with work! Another paper to write..college is all about writing papers.

Hellow fellow Ravenclaws biggrin I have just been accepted as a first year. My answer to the entry question "Where are your greatest strengths?" would be as follows.
I pride myself on being all that I can, my main strength is taking a problem and finding the most efficient(or creative) solution to solve it. I am also a very good at reading, past a university level, and have been since Grade six. I also pride myself on the abilty of making people feel better when they have problems.
My answer to the current question "What makes you happy in your life and why?"
Working on a problem such as robotics, are perfecting a spell makes me happy. Having people I love around me, and supporting those who need it also grants me happyness. Also chocolate makes me happy domokun

Fivienne I have some doubts about St. Patrick event. Are we supposed to draw something instead of a bear, or find an image on google and paste it there so it would fit nicely?... Or maybe both? I am asking, because when I first read the info I was happy of the possibility of drawing, but now I really dunno if I didn't mess up the rules...

Fivienne, your drawing pasted on would be FINE, and likely you'd get points for creativity. If any of you find an image on google (or photobucket) or the other sites (there are links in the LINKs sticky to art, and more in the Index sticky plus further down in the thread, the incomplete "Technical help", how to post an image has more links to photo hosting ALL OF WHOM HAVE SEARCH FEATURES, (we've had seasonal art contest, there are threads for funny art, Mugglenet, etc), and don't have the software to cut out backgrounds or re-size, let's make a list within house of those who do, and you guys can team up and help each other.
Luna, I love BOTH your Avis. The ducky one is SO Luna Lovegood! Welcome to Ravenclaw prism and deathofbarney! Your strengths are so appreciated, both of you, and there is a plethora of us chocolate lovers here! I finally got a free hour while I was waiting for a Mac appointment at our local Applestore, so I decided to do some power walking to burn calories. I was so proud of myself! But at the end of the mall, they'd opened a new store which imperioused me right in - Godiva chocolates! And I bought only TWO dark chocolate truffle with key lime, and dark chocolate truffle ganache. I'll have to find a calorie burning spell...!

Welcome to Ravenclaw prism and deathofbarney!! LadyHealingHands is the Head of House for Ravenclaw and I'm your (newly returned) Prefect! smile I'm glad you're both here and hope to see you around!
Deathofbarney - it's ok that you'll be gone, we're glad that you let us know and we look forward to seeing you back here! I myself just got back from a hiatus (unplanned and unwanted.. grr, internet!).
I happen to know that the newest St. Patty's item (Luck of the Gairish) has indeed been donated to the event - so if you are having some difficulty obtaining that item, be sure to enter the events!
LHH - those Godiva stores get me all the time..

Godiva...now I'm drooling. mrgreen
Welcome Barney! I adore robotics, too, although yes, they have lots of problems. -_- I just finished a semester robotics class at school - the stupid things wouldn't even roll straight. Apparently the tiled floor in that building isn't flat. xD
Anyway, I need to get back to that bear!

Where are your greatest strengths? My greatest strengths are that I appreciate other peoples differences and embrace them, I think before I leap, I try to think out any possible outcome of a situation and if I dont have time for that I am quick on my feet. I am friendly and love people, helping people is almost a weakness for me but I prefer to consider it a strength.
Now to Introduce myself. I am Steffy and I am glad to be in Ravenclaw. Thank you so much for the warm welcome message Lady Healing Hands.
